I'm on att and thinking about wanting to upgrade to this although att now locks bootloaders so I'd like to pick up a t-mobile version if possible. Will this phone come to either carrier?

Are you sure? I heard it differently.
My family possibly be going to Verizon, and I look around. Most if not all the info I seen so far said no.
If there is a way, I want to know. Since I have the SGS2.
Any unlocked phone can be used on any network so yeah you can use it on Verizon

Yes and no, because Verizon uses cdma and not gsm and your phone is gsm based you will only be able to use voice and 2G Data, 3G will not work with your phone.

Guys seriously? Verizon doesn't use SIM cards in order to use a phone on their network you have to use a Verizon branded phone! Sorry no unlocked phones! Sheesh feeding him wrong information could waste him a lot of money!

Yes. All the HTC variants are the same except the Sprint one. Head on over to the international forum if you want some of the good roms.
Thanks man, but wait do I have to sim unlock?

If you're going with a different carrier yes, if you have a T-Mobile HTC One and just want to flash one of the international roms and continue to use it on T-Mobile then no.
Thanks for the help appreciate it

Not to make a point out of you but people get SIM unlock and root and bootloader unlock way mixed up.
Kinda like when someone says hey I rooted my iPhone or jail broke my android
SIM unlock only means one thing using a diff carrier SIM card on another carriers device .
:what:

I have a dumb question, will the new models coming out be able to use roms and such from this one with just a different modem flash?

Yeah, thinking about picking one up when they come out next month, but I am kinda a flashaholic, lol. Haven't owned a Sony device in awhile and this looks to be a solid Phablet.

I'm planning to buy Z2 but I wanna make sure that the one that I purchase is bootloader unlock able can anybody give me a guide on buying my z2 please.

Sure, buy an unlocked version. All carrier branded units will not be bootloader unlockable. I have read that 3 branded in the UK has the ability to unlock the bootloader but the safest bet is non-carrier branded.

I can confirm that in Norway at least Telenor is allowing unlocking of the bootloader. Word I have heard is that here, none of the carriers lock their bootloaders, or at least with the Z2 none of them are removing the ability to unlock.

You can get the code from ATT, ebay or do it yourself (which is what I did) ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2124544
There is a way to unlock it without a code. I have a Rogers i717 on T-Mobile network. Search the threads. I think the instructions are still there. Barring that, try Google. If I find it I'll post a link.
