phone is not detected on pc and can't start phone in fast or flashboot, the LED turns green for 1 or 2 sec than turns red then the phone start (sony logo then black screen)
Then install drivers again
Install those from flashtool\drivers folder choose the ones for xperia u,p,sola,go and last 2 optins also, thats fastboot and flash drivers.
Open flashtool and try plug phone in fastboot mode, watch the led, if it start booting remove phone and watch right down on your pc screen to see if its installing. When it finish try again.
This is 99% of these problems...

yes do as said on above post. it couldnt be a hard brick. AFAIK hard bricks only occur if you flash something not meant for your device. except in Z series.

What windows versioon do you have?
Force power off, press power + volume up untill you feel (1+) 3 vibrations and try.
Try fastboot too and see if there is anything in flashtool log.

You had fastboot/flash mode working before and now they don't?
Do you feel the 3 vibrations?
Is it charging when pluged to cahrger when off, or even with sony logo?

I don't understand?! I can't go in flashboot mode, how can I flash with stock firmware ? and does stock firmware means the factory one?
if the led is turning green it means you can. but if you dont immeadiately flash stock firmware. it will boot. so you need to prepare stock ftf firmware for your device, choose it, wait for flashtool to tell you to connect your phone in flashmode. then connect your phone in flashmode

You dont need disconnect anything. Your phone is not bricked, its working. The only problem is your drivers, you have to manage install them and it will work. This has been here thousand times.

no action at all
this happened after i press repair TA in octopus_se_1.0.9
after that i couldn't go into flash or fastboot mode any more
any help
power off, remove battery, wait 30s, put in battery, start seus, prepare everything, then plug in device as requested in seus (while plugin cable, hold vol- ).
does that work?
otherwise try another PC and do the same.
whether the vol up and down works fine when you listen to music? just a test to work the upper and lower vol

it doesn't go into flash mode so the problem has never to do with drivers
whats happen if you just connect your phone to computer?Does it work normally? If yes you mast have correct drivers allredy installed and you must doing something wrong trying get in fastboot mode.Once again take out battery for 30sec. put it back and keep your device off.Press and hold volume UP and connect it to usb.Volume down do not get you in fastboot.
Today my Xperia sola completely discharged while usage and automatically turned off.
I connected it to charger after an hour, red LED turned on but the screen didn't show up the charging state.
It has been three hours now, and it is not responding to anything.
No effect on pressing power button alone or in combination with volume (up or down) button.
Also, the red LED turns off after half an hour, while it is still connected to the charger.
I have connected and disconnected three times now, and it's the same story: red LED for half an hour, then nothing, absolutely nothing.
Please, help!!!
Have you fixed it? If yes, how? Got the same problem!!

To enter flash mode, press volume down while connection USB, the led should turn on green.
If it works you can ftray repair with PC Companion, or Sony Update Service.
It may install a different formware than you have (latest available at your region)
You can download flashtool, and install older firmware.

Hi everyone...
Yesterday my sxp was working alright when i decided to relock bootloader. So I used relock ftf file and flashed it via flashtool. Now I used SUS to update my phone. But when i pressed Vol down and plugged in usb, i just got a red led and sus didn't detect my phone. I thoght battery is not enough, now the situation is:
***when i connect my phone to wall socket, red led turn on for few seconds, then it turn into green led for 1-2 second and then led goes off.
***if i try to use power + vol up/down....no vibration...only blinking red led for couple of seconds
***phone is not being detected by SUS or flashtool, as connecting via usb holding vol down button only gives red led.
I am stuck here. Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure your device is off when you're connecting it to your computer? Press and hold volume up button with powerbutton untill you've felt a vibration followed by a serie of vibrations and then try to connect it in flashmode.
must be the kernel or rom you flashed doesn't support offline charging

VOL UP+POWER =3 VIBRATION, mean you turn off the phone. No problem.
Step by step.
Turn off the phone. hold volume - and conect to computer. The led turn green?
The same, but with volume+ ¿the led turn blue?
Is very dificult brick totally the phone, we will unbrick, dont worry.

Yes if i hold vol up+power blue led comes and if i vol down+power green light comes. At flashtool i selected fastboot and selected flash kernel and flashed recovery.img as kernel. and that happened. i think thats the problem but is there a way to fix it?
Yes!!!!!! You're doing it totally wrong.
Recovery must be sideloaded via adb shell.
You'll need to flash your firmware and then follow the right steps to sideload a new recovery.
Enviado desde mi E2306 mediante Tapatalk
To unbrick you phone the only needed is flash your stock rom, excluding all minus the kernel. This will work and you hold your recovery with the phone working and you will can flash the root zip.
