Boot into cwm, wipe cache, system, data, dalvik, install the ROM, install gapps. Make sure you're unlocked and have cwm recovery installed.
GSM error

Try typing *#*#4636#*#* in dialer and changing to 'any gsm prl'. Also make sure your running the GSM version of cm10. I have no idea where you live or what kind of network airte is but I would assume its GSM.
Hi everyone, I Installed latest Omega ROM and ever since I have no mobile network data connection. Phone does work, wifi too.
APN is set, I tried several advices posted here and similar webs but no results so far.
I tried to install the modem.bin original from my mobile provider and nothing.
I tried ARIZA´s patch and nothing. IMEI has not changed.
Tried several wipes and format system/data/cache. Nothing.
Running out of ideas here, besides that, phone seems to work fine.
Help!

HI.
I got the same issue on Omega AOKP v2, and with an old version of ResurectionRemix. Nothing to do, just wipe&flash a newer version.
Sorry for you
Got the same issue here. Posted on forum and no reply yet. Omega v56.
Try flashing other roms.

International Player 5,0 on PACMAN ROM wifi stuck on downloading status. Happened before and went away for no apparent reason and now is back to stay. Wifi was working fine, but now the playstore sticks on "downloading." Since wifi was working, and still is for other stuff, would using a different kernel help? Has anyone resolved this?
Sorry, noob not allowed to post reply to someone else in dev thread reporting this problem already.
I had the same problem. Found no solution. So I had to do a clean install wiping everything.
That worked, of course.

ya i would say that maybe boot into recovery, backup, wipe: dalvik cache, cache, factory reset, system. then go back and install the rom again and see of the issue persists.

Thanks for replies - will bite the bullet later today (located S.E. Asia, so a bit out of sync).
I was running Cyanogenmod 10.2 official (stable build) on my GS3. I decided to flash Paranoid Android 3.99 RC2.
Followed the procedures correctly, did as follows:
Factory reset
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
I then flashed the Paranoid Android rom, but didn't flash the gapps package.
Everything seemed to work fine, except the WiFi didn't connect to the networks. I tried several networks, but it failed to connect.
It asks for the password, once entered, it says "Saved" and that's it. It doesn't connect.
Can anyone please help me get rid of the problem? I googled, but I didn't find anyone having a similar problem.
Do I need to flash gapps to make WiFi work properly, or is it something else causing the problem?

Manually connecting? Try flashing gapps with the rom?

I've tried connecting to several networks. I even tried connecting to my mobile hotspot (which didn't require a security pin), it gave the same error.
I haven't tried flashing gapps. Do you think flashing gapps would work?

Idk. Its worth a try though. If it still doesn't work. It maybe ur network adapter.

Are you talking about the network adapter on the phone? If you are, I re-flashed the Cyanogenmod 10.2 and it started working again. WiFi even worked on the stock rom flawlessly.

I think its an issue with CM 10.2 carried over to PA.
I tried the CM11 and AOSX, on both of them I am having the same problem. Though I have setted the APN up, the mobile data is not working. I tried the app Tweak APN but not worked either. Is there any fix about this issue or any solution that someone can help? Thanks.

I am not using any SIM Pin. I tried wiping all many times. Tried a lot of tricks actually. I installed 3 different roms but none of those KitKats worked with mobile data. On Sony Stock based roms I have no problem. I let it to download the internet settings then it works.
I feel so sad that I won't be able to use it
Use the same apn stock rom auto downloads. Copy it word to word from that.

Nope, not working again. The mobile data looks like not functioning. It turns on and off so easily. Whenever I turn it on or off on ICS or JB the phone hangs for less than a second, but on KitKat gives the feeling like it is not woking.
Should I flash it over an earlier version of CM like CM10 or something? On the other hand, I format the system.
Just dont know how to get over it.
I tried other CM roms. My mobile data is not working on any of them. It is working on stock and stock based roms. I tried to set the apn settings on stock rom manually and it worked. bu ton cm roms it is not working..
I used to have an X10 mini, it was working fine on all roms. But on this Sola I have this problem.
What is the problem? Is there anyone can help me about it?
