T-Mobile APN Settings - G2 General

Hey guys for some reason or another i have lost a few APN Settings that were once on stock jb. I found a thread for a T-Mobile APN but it was for an unlocked d802. Not sure if would apply exactly to what t-Mobile ships with its phones. Anyway point being can anyone give me a few of the stock t-Mobile apns in there g2's if it's not to much trouble thanks in advance

3G Network not working CM 7.1

LOL, well I just noticed that 3G Network isn't working on my HTC Legend.... Anyone got any wonderful solutions? Cheers
Are you on a nightly? Did you check that your vodafone AU APNs are correct?
I don't think I'm on a nightly,I downloaded from the stable rom section. I'm pretty sure the APN is correct..
How can you check if its correct anyway?

If you downloaded from stable, it'll be what it'll be.
To check if it's correct, use a vodafone reference. The APN info might be somewhere on the site, or obtained by asking one of their CSRs. You might even have to go as far as asking someone else for their phone and APN info.
That said, if you were fine on other ROMs, it was probably because it was successfully inputted as a preset value.
You (or if the APN was defaulted, someone) may have also made a mistake, check for tiny typos, or accidental spacing, usually at the end of each value, though I doubt the latter would make a difference.
LOL just realised my network provider is crazy Johns, weird that it says Vodafone au on my lock screen. Well seems like my data net is back.. Thanks again!

[Q] HSPA 3G not working on Samsung Galaxy S3 Int'l Version

Good afternoon xda members I was wonder if any of you have had this problem with with your Samsung GS3 Unlocked Int'l. I bought one off of Amazon and the phone works fine (popped in my sim can get phone calls and all that). The only problem is I can't get 3g/HSPA+ on the handset. The best that I've gotten is EDGE. I am with Cincinnati Bell Wireless and have already put in the appropriate apn settings into the phone. If there is anyone out there with this similar problem whether you are on Cincinnati Bell or any other GSM carrier feel free to shoot any suggestions.

If you search there is a thread concerning U.S. users of the international, you should get advice there on how to set up best for various networks
You won't get 3g or 4g with GT-i9300 on Cincinnati bell or t-mobile

[Q] using verizon s4 internationally with data

i am going to be purchasing the s4 to upgrade fro my old nexus and will be travelling to greece for 2 weeks. I have read that i will need to call verizon to unlock my phone to make calls with a local sim card from that country. But i have also read that i will need to unlock the bootloader to receive data by changing the apn settings. Please confirm if that is correct. If so can i just unlock the bootloader without having a custom rom. I dont want to install any custom roms just unlock the bootloader and run stock rom. Is this possible and can someone direct to a link for instructions. Much appreciated.
You will not need to call Verizon because your phone is sim unlocked straight out of the box. Likewise, you will not need to unlock the bootloader-aside from the developer edition there has never been any such thing as an unlocked bootloader for the Verizon Galaxy S4.

Thanks so much for the help. I assumed you had to have an unlocked bootloader to change APN settings. If i am able to change APN settings then there is no need for me to unlock the bootloader.
Thanks

I don't know because I have the sprint version of the phone but I think you can with out Root call Verizon and ask them I had ok service with there CS I'm an ex VZW customer.

You neither need to unlock the bootloader, nor simunlock the phone. Just insert the simcard and add apn in network setting. No need to call verizon.

I just wanted to bring some closure to my original question since no one really comments once they get the answer to their forum question. Immediately out of the box, this phone is indeed unlocked and once you place a foreign sim card into the phone,It works immediately. Once the correct apn numbers are added, you also get data and internet. This phone is really great.
Heading to Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. So I just pop a Sim and ad APN? Does clicking APN give options to choose or do I have to manually set APN? Thanks in advance

You must enter the APN details manually - the phone isn't pre-configured with other carrier's APN information.
Once you've entered it, you can select the active APN from the list of entries that you've added.
If you have a Verizon SIM installed, APN editing is disabled. You'll need that non-VZ SIM if you're going to experiment.
this practice also works for trying to use a verizon GS4 on local GSM networks. Just doesnt apply to overseas so if you want to use this phone on tmobile you can do that.
Puerto Rico?
Sorry if this is not the right place for this, but does anyone know if I can use my phone in Puerto Rico?
I'm in Singapore now. It works great but their prepaid plans only support 3g; so it's petty show. The reps seem to know exactly how to program the phone and the APN info needed. $7 for 1gb and 7 days usage and the card costs $10 with a $10 credit.

[Q] What are the T-Mobile APN settings for the Droid DNA?

So I'm switching carriers from Verizon to T-Mobile and I know I can use my DNA on T-Mobile, and I know I need to add in their APN settings so I can use their data and whatnot, but are the APN settings?
The same for any other T-Mobile phone... That should help in your search.
