right now i installed cm11 on my grand duos with factory reset also with cache.everything works fine exept i can't signin to gapps(playstore,gmail etc)
i tried new accnt bt no way.
i disabled googles 2 step verification bt no way.
i installed gapps(apk's) given in the cm11 website but no way
i m really frustrated please help me

Try installing latest Google play services manually or try installing gapps in this way http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2689355.

I have two Folio 100. In the first i can add Google or Exchange account but in the second it's only possibe add Exchange account .

Are you logged on on one of them when you try to add on another?

+1 no problems with cyano and foliomod
But i had the same problem with HC rom, and i solved it doing another factory reset after updating the rom

Power off your device, turn off batterry & try again.
If google acc not connected on Wi-Fi, try on 3G (need only first for Google Acc, after use normally on WiFi)
I'm struggling with this too - I'm on the rom Folio 3xx v0.4.
I sit there with the google account creation screen constantly getting an error message of 'cannot get a reliable connection'. If I use the web interface it logs in fine but puts up error of an account creation issue on the device. There's no further details provded. I can't use a 3G connection as it's just a normal folio 100.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try that on first boot? Wifi isn't working on first boot and 3G modem is supported.

Hi Jon, Unfortunatly no - there had been many, many reboots. I originally installed the rom and somehow got around this issue (although it did occur). Unfortunatly I was experiencing many apps refusing to run - I then noticed your post telling somone to try a fastboot -u (?) to fix this problem. This worked and the build then had a lot more working apps... but this problem occured.
To be honest I've now given up on the honeycomb build, and gone on to try CM7. The device is a lot more useful with that on, however I had hoped for a chance of using adobe photoshop touch on the device as it would have been useful for work and general use.
My hope is kind of on you and nopy with your ICS build. Wish I could help but I'm new to android!
Alright guys, the play store spits this error at me constantly. It happens when i download apps from the play store. It says "Error retrieving information from the server [RPC:S-5:AEC-0]". Just to clarify, things I've already tried: wiping data of play store and play service frameworks, wiping dalvik and cache, deleting my host file and readding my Google account. I've added another account and it downloaded apps flawllessly so it must be my main google account. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Both of my devices suddenly got this problem since yesterday till now...
Tut tut, no good Google.... You must fix this ASAP!!
I suggest dont do anything,let them fix it....

I have the same issue, and tried every trick in the book, even wiping completely etc. I have the issue on both my gnex an n7.
Seems like this issue goes back to 2012 so dont hold you breath.

Working like a charm on my HTC Desire X (Android 4.1.1).. But on my N7 it all started a few days back.. Getting the same error.. I think its not in a specific region.. Somethings wrong with their service or Google Play server.. Wish it gets resolved soon... hope for the best :good:

All of a sudden my dad's phone is behaving weird. I am not able to access the playstore and gmail. First of all the playstore was asking for a google account to be associated. And when I tapped on add it crashed. I went to the settings->Accounts and sync->add account and there was no google account option. I'm not an android user so I'm unsure if I remember this right but there should be google account option to be added. I tried to hard reset the phone but it does not seem to work. I mean it is not getting formatted fully as I still see the superuser. Btw I had rooted this device but I can't remember with which method. As I said earlier I'm not an android user so I'm not much into it. Dad came to me with this problem and I'm still trying to figure it out how do I get it sorted. Please if anyone can help me with this I would be grateful.

It's likely that your Gapps are corrupted in some way, you'll need to find Gapps that work for your device and you should be all good.

Hi! I recently rooted my tablet and removed some system apps/bloatware. Since doing so I get two reoccurring messages,
1.) Unfortunately Google Play services has stopped
2.) Unfortunately, the process com. google. process. gapps has stopped.
Also, when I try to set up any Google services, I get a message saying " Couldn't sign in there was a problem communicating with Google services try again later",
regardless how many times I try this message just repeats and doesn't sign me into anything.
I've tried to factory reset and everything I can think of, all with no luck. I'm guessing the firmware and gapps need to be re-installed, but I'm not sure. When I try to download anything it fails. I don't have a computer, so I'm hoping to be able to apply the fix to the tablet itself. I have also tried to unroot, but that hasn't made much difference . Again my model # SM T530NU, running 4.4.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
HI Just putting this here hoping to get a forum started. I have 2 of these. Both seem to be working fine. I have ATT and I did enable the hotspot but it doesn't have internet, I don't have a tethering plan. I just assumed they locked out the function to turn hotspots on or off when you don't have a plan.

Hello man I also have one of these, mine gave a problem when I went to upgrade and then I could not solve, already installed his rom stock and it does not connect on google play and if I skip the steps he simple buga, so I ask your help to leave a backup of your rom for me to try to install and see if it works on my can leave with apps and everything is ok
