Samsung S Mouse - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Accessories
I just got my 12.2 LTE and will be collecting my free Samsung BT keyboard soon, I am wondering is there anyone who have tried the Samsung S Mouse with the keyboard for "desktop"like experience. Does it in anyway enhance the use of note pro as a laptop? The S Mouse is not cheap, is it worth getting? Thanks for sharing.

I don't know if it offers any different functionality than a standard Bluetooth mouse, but I use both a bt mouse and a bt keyboard that has a built in track pad for remote pc connection and it works great as a laptop replacement, with one exception: in android, Google gas decided to map the right mouse button to the "back" function. Supposedly Citrix is going to overwrite that function with their newer update sometime in April.

I would also love to know?
aslo can you pair 2 devices like the keyboard and the mouse at the same time by bluetooth?
Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
You can, but they will be jumpy. I usually just use the trackpad, but if I use a different bt keyboard I use the mouse, or I can shut off the trackpad portion of my main bt deck.

Only the BT keyboard is free, not the S Mouse.

How do you get the free keyboard? I didn't see anything like that when I got my promotions after buying my 12.2.

My promotional offers were a BT keyboard, book cover, a wireless Samsung printer. But now all purchases of note comes bundled with BT keyboard, book cover and S Mouse

Where do you live? I bought my 12.2 at best buy about a week ago and no such promotion for free hardware.. From Samsung after registering, the best I got was $25 credit from playstore and $25 or $50 via samsung hub. The rest were service offers I cared less about and required credit card sign up.

This offer is in Singapore. I went to the Samsung concept store yesterday and was told that the S Mouse is now bundled along with the Keyboard and cover for the Note Pro. Samsung is pushing it as a notebook replacement device.
Sent from my GT-N8000 using XDA Premium HD app
Well, that is a great deal. I wonder why Singapore and not the u.s. I'm gonna call samsung and ask about it.
The S action mouse is the best one i've used on a android device!I used several ones before and sometimes the disconnected or i had to switch them on and off to make them work again, not with the samsung mouse! And the extra buttons for multiwindow and resent apps are great.I use it in combination with the samsung keyboard and that's no problem.

Hi there!
Would you please clarify which additional buttons it has and how you call resent apps?
I have BT mouse for 4$, it's good to understand the difference before spending 50$ for S-Action mouse....
Thanks!

I have finally gotten to using the note pro with the keyboard and am using it to type this reply. I must say its fantastic. I don't have the S mouse but am definitely contemplating getting one. The screen size is about right. I'll have a strong feeling that I'll be leaving my notebook behind in my biz trips. The note pro is certainly a notebook replacement.

Agree. I have been using the note pro for more than a month now with the logetich keyboard and to be honest it is actually replacing my tablet needs. And with the mouse you will have more freedom with the device as well.

The S action mouse enables you to view the recent open apps, go to the home page (easier than hitting the central button of the tab), open Google search engine, and launch Svoice. It definitely enhances the laptop experience in my opinion, even if I'm still struggling with some really annoying issues with the NP 12.2 (virtual keyboard poping up when hitting the screen even when BT Logiteck keyboard is connected; and Hancom Office being everything but a Pro Office solution).

Under language settings set it to disable on screen keyboard when a bt one is connected. You should see it if you look with the logitech connected. If not download external keyvoard helper and that issue will vanish entirely. And hancom is as good as it gets so far. Its perfect for me I dont need anything it doesnt offer as I only do writing and a little excell. You ahould combine it with a remote pc app.

S mouse & hancom word word count
All the things people listed they can do with thev $50 s mouse, I can do with the BT keyboards I have that cost no more than $25 each and the commands seem more convenient to me than on a mouse. I am going nuts trying to find WORD COUNT in Hancom Word....is it there or is it missing. Also the TOOLS menu isn't always visible. Anyone know how to keep it visible???

[Q] Printing from the 10.1
is there an app like airprint on the ipad so we can print from the 10.1?
Try google cloudprint. Works even with my usb printer connected to my NAS! Set up printers and manage printque in chrome then you can print doc's from the cloudprint app. Or u can check if you printer manufacturer has got its own app B-) Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk

And are expect that you will get everything served on a silver plate. Have you even tried to search the Market? Almost every printer manufacture have their own app, Samsung,hp, Kodak and so on. I have a Samsung printer and use their app and its work good. Also used the app below some times If you dontfind your print i recommend this app below. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.dynamixsoftware.printershare&feature=search_result And see here. I just typed the word printer, and see how many apps that you can try and see for u self what is the best app https://market.android.com/search?q=printer&so=1&c=apps
I use PrintShare. It works fine for me. The manufacturer of my printer has an app for Android, but it only allows me to print photos and not documents. Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk

Bluetooth mouse and keyboard app
When the Razr is connected to HDTV with HD dock station, it would be great to control it with BT mouse and keyboard. But it could be even better using another Android device as such a remote controller. I spent hours looking for application that I can install on my XOOM and use it as BT pad and keyboard. Anyone here was lucky to find something like this? Thanks!

[Q] Can I use my i717 as a tablet for photoshop?
Is there an app I can download on my phone and a plug-in I can install?
Check the play store for the photoshop app. Unless you mean something different.
Or do you mean to connect your phone to your pc, and use the s-pen to replace the mouse?

But using a tablet and pen is a very common way to edit with photoshop. The usual method is to use a Wacom or Bamboo tablet
On paper it sounds the same but in reality..... Photoshop is usually about precision. Imagine all the erroneous inputs from the capacitive screen. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
That's an amazing point. The Wacom or Bamboo are one-touch, but the GN is multi-touch. This type of device really could be more trouble than its worth for Photshop work. Thanks for the insight.

Ye sorry it works fine on non aosp roms for the note 2 the new android 4.2 has different bluetooth stack than its always had apparently thats what the developer says
Aint that a B()*& I have been using this app since he relieased it. Other than the PS button missing, you'll find that when you have to use the Trianggle button to search in some apps, it does not work (Netflix and Amazon for example).

WhatsApp is the only thing I have installed from the store on my Galaxy Nexus. Looking at their website they seem to port it to everything (Nokia S4, Symbian, Windows Phone etc.) so might end up on Ubuntu aswell.

Spotify. Its my favorite music app. I think I saw it on their app menu already though, so maybe its already on there. Rhythmbox would also be cool if they could make a version for the phone OS.

Qemu has several modes: emulation, translation and virtualization. Translation (of processor instructions) would be the fastest mode in this case since virtualization isn't possible, but last time I used it (a long time ago), it wasn't quite stable.
