Ok, I have been seeing that many of the members are facing problem in installing USB VCOM driver in preferably in Windows 8. Before you go for installing USB VCOM driver you first have to disable automatic driver installation otherwise your OS might install wrong driver from the net and then you would keep waiting after hitting download button of SP Flash Tool.

Now you are ready to install USB VCOM driver.
Download driver from links given below:
For Window XP, Vista and Windows 7 (Thanks to bhargav1991): http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1786965&d=1362676523
For Windows 8 (Thanks to Kumar Abhishek): http://www.mediafire.com/?7yee2of64nhl947
1. Take the battery, SD card and SIM out of the phone
2. Open device manager (on computer search it or control panel)
3. Holding volume+ connect it to PC via USB (once you hear a sound from PC you can release Volume +)
4. In other devices MT65xx Preloader
7. Right click MT65xx Preloader
8. Go to update driver
9. Locate the drivers provided according to your OS (XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8)
10. And let it do its work.
You might have to reboot your system after installing VCOM driver, to confirm connect your device once again without battery and see if you something like "MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port" means your driver is installed properly if you still see "MT65xx PreLoader" you have to repeat the process.
Remember the hardware in the Device Manager is visible for few secs only.
Any solution for this?
Thanks for this!
It does install the driver correctly but i still cannot flash...
In the hardware manager i cannot see it, only when i select "see hidden devices".
Even when my telephone is connected, it will show in the driver description: the device is currently not connected.
How can i solve this?

That is adb driver, You don't have to worry about adb driver, you don't require it for flashing.

It doesn't matter, you just go ahead and flash your ROM, you would be able to flash your ROM easily.

It is not the problem of driver, your Scatter file is of some different device, either download stock ROM from Moulinsky or make one using MTK droidtool.
It worked for me guys in windows 8 :good: but not in windows 7

My system is win 7 ulmate 32 bit.
How to enable installation of unsigned drivers?
The tut is for win 8, and for 64 bits.
I followed a command prompt method of " bcdedit....checks" (for win 7 /64 bit) but it did not work.
I downloaded the vcom drivers for win 7 uploaded by bharghav 1991 but on installation the system said it could not install the file because it was an INF file.
On one occasion I got the preloaded installed, which said I was good to proceed ,but nothing happened.
I have tried all the sp tools and drivers available on the internet as administrator.
My device SD and desk top have turned to virtual grave yards of software souls.
AndI am getting nowhere.
I also tried the battery in method mentioned above .
Thanks in advance

0. Copy the nk.nbf file in the same folder with this flashing tool
1. Select your phone type G3 or G4.
2. If you use windows Vista or Windows 7 check the Vista option.
3. If you have already HardSPL your phone please uncheck the HSPL option.
4. Press Start Button to start ROM Flashing.
For Vista or Windows7 you need to replace the drivers with corect one from attached files. It works for bouth operation systems.
If you have the 64-bit edition of Windows you must disable digital driver signing before you continue on! To do this, restart your computer. After the initial BIOS screen but before the Windows bootup splash screen, spam press F8 until you see a Windows menu. If you do not get a menu and end up in Windows you pressed F8 at the wrong time. Try it again until you get the menu. In the menu select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement or Disable Digital Driver Signing (depending on your version of Windows). Windows will finish booting up and you can continue on.
More info about drivers installation here...
You don't need any other file to flash the ROM!!!!!!!!!
Sounds good! Will test it and if it's working good, I'll add it to my own ROMs!
Thanks for this i will test this asap
Please some feedback.
Thanks!
Nice...
Good idea to make it simpler...

After the hardSPL is done windows search for new drivers on the net. If you have an internet connection a bed drivers are installed. You must replace this driver and I remember the name is "PocketPC USB". The driver is the same in case of three color booting

What do you mean by "to replace"? Simply to overwrite the driver files on the disk with the files from archive? I have Vista with already installed and running Mobility center. I tried to update the driver by pointing to the new drivers - system says I heve the latest drivers... I tried to install new drivers by clicking the inf files - got the message that it can't be installed in sucha a way...
Looks it is nice tool, but my knowledge probably is not enought..
Thanks in advance.

You have to make an upgrade to the already installed drivers by selecting the upgrade option in the hardware manager. After that you must select "manual pick" and "I have location" to point to the working driver. Remember that you need to replace only the driver active in the upgrading process (in the tree color state or after hard SPL)
Great job, thanks.

Is normal to disconnect activesync after hardspl because it change the phone state to update drivers. Sometime if you don't have finished the activesync connections steps, after hardspl, the updating program repport imposibility to connect. Don't worry. Exit updating program without close the "Update Prophet" program and make again all steps for upgrading (select g3 or g4 model always, if it is already selected too, select hspl option) and start a new upgrading, ignore copy warning with "cancel". Normaly the update process will start again and report corrected connection for upgrade.
Thanks al try that but after that error active sync wont find it and the update software aswell so i always have to reset my device first then flash but yes al keep on trying I suspect it must be a software thats interupting the upgrade maybe i should close down all my programs first before upgrade to prevent this problem the only program i got is IM Clients and Firefox browser plus Windows Defender al try it and let you know because those applications could be interupting the update process. Thanks again

I ran v2.1 on Windows7 x64 (b7100) with installed Vista64_DRIVER.
Signing drivers was turned off, test mode (for OS) was turned on.
But unsuccessfull: RUU still crash.
See details in this screenshot:
http://s1.sendpic.ru/111214.jpeg.html
BTW, is it significant that "sleep4.exe" is "not compatible" or not?
Because I think that there is something wrong with Vista64_DRIVER driver.
Any solutions?
The MoDaCo Mod for MOJO, which adds root and increased Play Store app availability to the MadCatz MOJO, is now available!
The mod takes the form of a Superboot image (as used on many devices previously), with additional features to resolve the Play Store lack-of-apps issue.
What is this?
Superboot is a boot.img that when booted, will root your device the first time you boot (installing su and the superuser APK). No need to flash any partitions, no messing with the contents of your data partition, no overwriting the shipped ROM on your device, just boot the boot image using the instructions below and you're done!
What are the pre-requisites?
You need a MOJO (duh) and a USB Male A-A cable to carry out this process. And a computer I suppose (Windows, Mac or Linux).
Any caveats?
You should note that while rooting may affect your ability to receive future OTAs, reverting back to stock is easy enough. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Download
APPLY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Superboot MMM³ - DOWNLOAD - MD5: 835de32dd795d2825ade1ed1be422abf
How to use Superboot - Windows, Linux and OSX
Download the Superboot zip file above and extract to a directory
Put your device in bootloader mode - Unplug the power cable and any USB cables (the dongle can stay in), insert the USB Male A-A cable in the port labelled '2.0', then insert the power cable. 'Key driver not found.. Booting OS' will appear on screen.
WINDOWS - install the device drivers from the directory you extracted above if required, then run 'superboot-windows.bat' as Administrator
MAC - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-mac.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-mac.sh'
LINUX - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x superboot-linux.sh' followed by 'sudo ./superboot-linux.sh'
You will see 'Booting downloaded image' and a black screen, then the screen will return to 'Key driver not found.. Booting OS'. At this point, unplug the USB cable and the power cable, wait a few moments, then reconnect the power cable to boot as normal.
For all the missing apps to show up on the Play Store, you may need to clear data on the Play Store in 'Settings -> Applications' and reboot, then run the Play Store again.
Enjoy!

So after i type reboot bootloader the mojo reboot normaly even if i unplug the power etc... and the pc do nothing
Thanks for what you did this is awesome
Mojo goes into fastboot mode and installed drivers fine. However currently running into issue where when I run the superboot-windows.bat file in admin mode it opens cmd for a second then immediately closes. The mojo doesn't seem to respond whatsoever. Any thoughts?
Ya same here mojo say key driver not found... Booting OS but when I run the .bat file doesnt close just sitting waiting for device

Are running the bat file as an admin? right click>run as admin
ya ran in admin also tried to run adb just to see if i can connect device but nothing. computer is connecting just not the device with adb/fastboot
2 things to try:
1) Run the bat file in an actual command window to see the output, or edit it and add pause at the end (likely device not found or fastboot isn't in the path)
2) Manually force a driver (I believe the fastboot driver from the Android SDK should be able to be forced, since this is just a Tegra 4 chipset)
To ensure its ready to go, you should be able to write:
"fastboot devices"
And see that there is a device there. I will try when I get my cable
Thanks I'll try out more tomorrow.
For me i have to add absolute filepath to script if i run it as admin
if the folder is under C:\ it is: C:\r1-mojo-superboot-mmm\fastboot-windows.exe boot boot.superboot.img
But just telling me "waiting for device". driver is installed properly and device is recognized as usb device.

Could you try editing the batch file, replacing 'fastboot boot' with 'fastboot -i 0x0738 boot'? I don't think that should be necessary on Windows (I use a Mac) but it's worth a try!

You won't see it when you plug it in, open device manager you will see fastboot device without driver.
To install the Mojo driver on Windows 8 you need to disable driver signature checking, else install will fail.
Your USB3 cable is backward compatible to USB2.
Have you taken mojo from power? if you only reboot bootloader you won't see anything.

you can use ADB from twrp recovery to push a rom to your /sdcard
follow this guide step by step and quote me here if you have question.
HTC ONE M7_U/M7_UL - ADB PUSH & FLASH A ROM - DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
Prerequisites:
You need ADB and FASTBOOT on your computer, either by installing the Android SDK or Minimal ADB and FASTBOOT
You need to know how to start a fastboot/adb command prompt:
To open a command window prompt, in Windows go to Start Menu --> ''Run'' then type cmd. Change the directory to the ADB folder on your machine:
If using the default install location for the SDK:
Code:
cd C:\android-sdk-windows\tools
If using the default install location of Minimal ADB and FASTBOOT:
Code:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot
Or hold left shift + right click a blank space inside the folder where adb and fastboot are located and select ''Open command window here'' from the contextual menu.

Unlock bootloader if not already unlocked:
Thanks to Electroz for the video tutorial
Flash TWRP Recovery:
Make sure the recovery.img file is in the same folder where adb and fastboot are located
reboot phone in bootloader mode
Flash the recovery:
Code:

You need your HTC drivers correctly installed on your PC:
If not, follow this guide (thanks to nkk71):
originally from @nkk71: [GUIDE] [02-MAR-2014] nkk71's SuperGUIDE to returning 100% back to stock
follow the below instructions to fix
Open "Device Manager" -> select the unknown "One" -> right-click -> "Update Driver Software ..." -> "Browse my computer" -> "Let me pick" -> "Android USB Devices" -> select "My HTC ..." -> install that
just in case, HTC Drivers can be found here: [Drivers] HTC Drivers for Windows - Several Versions (credits to @mdmower)
though you should already have them since you have been using your phone anyways
for those who like a visual guide:
okay so I did a fastboot boot command, and as you can see it didnt install correct driver
Open "Device Manager"
there's the culprit
right click and Update Driver Software
select Browse my computer for driver software
select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
select Android USB Devices
select My HTC ... (if you have more than one version, choose the latest)
warning, select Yes
successful installation
now it looks better
and can confirm:
Code:
C:\ADB3>[B]adb devices[/B]

Procedure:
Make sure the ROM you want to flash is in the same folder where ADB and FASTBOOT are.
Here is a list of the HTC M7 roms
Connect your phone to computer using usb cable
Reboot phone in recovery mode (TWRP):
If phone is booted in OS:
Code:
adb reboot recovery
if not booted or bootlooping, hold power button + volume down until phone boot in bootloader mode
then select BOOTLOADER then RECOVERY using volume up/down to navigate and power button to select.
Make sure your phone is booted in TWRP main menu:
transfer the rom to your /sdcard folder:
Code:
adb push name_of_rom.zip /sdcard/
Wait for the zip file to transfer, this can take several minutes and there is no progress bar. When the command prompt give you back the hand and display how much bytes transferred in X seconds, the transfer is completed:
In TWRP main menu, select ''INSTALL''
Browse the installation menu and select your rom zip file inside /sdcard folder:
Swipe to confirm you want to flash the rom

Thanks for all your help I am now up and running!!!!!!
For a week now,i have been trying to troubleshoot these issues and they ended up in vain.
The problem occurred, when i first tried to flash CM recovery ,i Typed in "FASTBOOT oem unclock",then everything went into this havoc.
The the phone ,boots into Fastboot mode Only when i press the (Vol Urip+power).
No recovery is Present ,when i try the (Vol Down + Pwer) I get the One plus symbol ,nothing else.
No Rom is present ,so i cant just load into a Rom ,to try something via that way
The images show a few ways that i have tried to solve this.

Sure.
As the Post above mentioned (in the first comment) ,thats the way to go to fix a Hard bricked / bootloop stuck / no Display.
But if you encounter any problems or issues like i did (the QualCom 9008 ...).I did these
Note : all downloads for this adventure are already present in that guide ,Give it a thumbs up after you fix it as it just recovered a potato , link
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/general/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-hard-bricked-t3272108
Step 1: Requirements
Download the qualcom drivers,fastboot-adb all of that, even though i had them installed,i did a clean installation.
Download the Huge 800MB file (the Recovery tool).
Unzip them to the Desktop, 2 folders (1 for the Qualcomm driver, another for the msm).
Step 2: Set-up
Follow the turning off drive signature process from the post above ,Its fairly simple(press shift restart,advanced,f7 restart).
Install adb-drivers.
Switch off phone (press Power Button for 12 sec or so )till it vibrates and display is blank.
Press the Power Up button and plug in the Phone to your comp
If your Internet connection is turned on,mostly windows will itself download and install the driver(qualcom-xxx) for this device.
Step 3:
Now Unplug the phone.Switch it off(your display will be blank ,to begin with but remove phone press power button 12 sec (wait for vibrate )
Press power button up and plug it back in the comp. When you do this navigate to the Device manager tab ,A new entry in that table will be present Ports & Coms or so. If you dont have this ,no worries (go back to the First step and try to get your drivers re-Installed) .
Now that you have located your com port, RELINK HS-USB QDLOADER 9008(com3) in my case( you might have anything else ,but getting this is crucial).
On that Entry right click and go to Properties. In properties > Driver Tab > Update Driver
Once you click Update, Click on Browse my comp for driver
Then Click on LET ME PICK FROM A LIST
UNCHECK the SHOW COMPATIBLE HARDWARE // Have to do this !
Under Manufacturer,FIND Qualcomm Incorporated
Under MODEL,Select QUALCOMM HS- USB MSM DIAGNOSTICS xxxx (i chose the first entry,BUT MSM is integral).
Install that .RESTART COMP,IT'll PROMPT.
UNPLUG PHONE ,SWITCH OFF ,Press POWER UP+ for 12sec
Reconnect to the comp ,now your DEVICE MANAGER will show your port ENTRY as QUALCOMM HS-USB MSM DIAGNOSTICS
Click on that entry and Click on Properties > Driver >Update >Browse my comp >
Now select the folder in which you have downloaded the Qualcomm drivers x64 or x86 (from the post above ,you should have downloaded them in the beginning).
Now install that , If it asks for an Restart COMP ,RESTART comp( i restarted, just to be safe).
Step 4 : Completion
Connect the phone in fastboot mode(Just the power up+ & connect )
msm.exe > open in admin mode.
Open up the MSM.exe in the folder (the big file that you downloaded earlier the 800MB one )
It will recognize your device,If it doesn't.
Unplug Phone.
Power Off
Power Up+ ,wait 10sec ,and Plug in ,(hold the power up)
MSM.exe will recognise your device, Try to click start on that and see if it triggers it ,else just close and reopen msm.exe
Your device will be recognised Press Start, it'll do the rest.
After all this,a recovery mode will show up,click yes/ no and Continue.

Do remember this twrp recovery will only work on Android 6.0 :cyclops:
Twrp takes takes about 1-2 minutes to boot up as it has to time out the screen once to turn on the display(bug in twrp) in that time don't press anything or tap on the screen or the timeout will reset, after waiting for 1 minute(screen time out time) press power key and it should show the twrp recovery :highfive:
and yeah after flashing twrp, please flash SuperSu or Magisk or you'll face bootloop :silly:
I complete all step, but my Android Phone is vibrate every 1 mint,So How to Solve this Problem?
