I have a problem with frien android phone galaxy s2 4.2 android version NO ROOT
Black screen after crash and no way to export contacts
I have olready tried google for contact but this man have ALL CONTACTS ON TELEPHONE....NO IN SIM .
KIES no way becausa need MTS setting and...no screen no way to setup this.
I see all telephone folder from usb.....can i use this for take contacts?

The galaxy s2 never received offical Android 4.2, it must be a clone then.

so your sure the screen is broken? Maybe the OS is corrupt, Try going into Download mode or Recovery, if you dont know how to, simply google it.

you should probably get a new screen and replace it then, if the contacts are not on the sim-card then i don't think there is anyway of retrieving them.

You should post your request in low legacy devices or android hacking. You should also know exactly which components are in your device to know if you can build or port a rom for it. It would be interesting also if you could find the drivers (code) for your phone. Anyway if this phone is not to famous I don't think you can find any custom roms, just build them by yourself.

That phone is not a real GSIII. The processor is different, the RAM is only half as much, the screen resolution is much lower. A GSIII ROM will not work.

guys, i need your help. ive deleted some chinese apps from system/app (without backup, my fault) and phone, contacts and sms arent working now - it says "The system is not authorized sill automatically shut down". What should i do? I've failed to find any rom, so maybe someone can send me a copy of system/app?

Hi!
I have big (for me) problem with my smartphone. I installed ROM for other phone, and my touchscreen and touch keys (back, menu) now don't work... I tried this solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1423562 but it wasn't work.
Help me, please... I really need my phone... :/

Hardware keys and keyboard works normally.

i have a flew roms that let me flash my device is a replica samsung galaxy s3 or s4 not sure;
my phone was dead totally only was able to make it recognice as a usb com device, i was able to flash
using Smarth Android Flash Tool and now i have only ligths and vibrations, but the screen desnt turn on,

I bought two Samsung Galaxy Ace S5831i from China. The phone was good but I wanted to get rid of all the chinese stuff from it and used Odin and firmware from Sammobile. But instead, I installed the MDB file for the S5830i. (Not intentionally though). The phone seemed okay at first and I didnt notice my mistake until I try to use it. Many error messages and apps fail. The big problem is the Camera. It doesn't work...errorhandlesmesssage -1...Well, then I googled for a custom ROM and couldnt find one. So I used firmware for Galaxy Y and installed that. (Intentionally though I thought the two phones are kinda close ) Now, the phone doesn't start or enter into download mode either. I heard I may be able to enter download mode by USB Jig but then what? I cant find any ROM for the 5831i. And what to do with the second phone? It has the S5830i installed on it. Please please help!!!!

Did you go to download mode using Power+Volume Up+Volume down? Don't install Galaxy Y Roms on the Ace otherwise your phone will get bricked! When you say the Galaxy Ace S5831i is that a typo are do you mean 1i? If so there hardware is probably the same a 0i so you can most probably install 0i Roms on this '1i'.

I dont think it is fake. I tried connecting it with Keis and I could download the ROM. But it kept on giving me error messages. Anyone has any idea which phone may be close enough to this one?

Yes, keis was able to download the file. It starts installing it but the error message kept occuring. That is why I guess it is not fake.

There's no s5831i, check again.
If it's a clone, in the box should be a brand name and try to download the firmware from their stores -I don't know about phones, but tablets can be unbricked so easily-.
If you can confirm is s5830i, just try odin and download a rom for your country -google have them, if you can't find the link let me know i'll re look for the page where most of the country roms are available-.

Hmmm if you flashed both of them I have bad news for you... If not, you might want to try dumping the working one and make an odin flashable package...
Another good option is to install antutu benchmark on the working phone and see the technical specs like processor, gpu, etc..

I have a problem with my s6 edge finger print sensor. I have been reading alot of forums and trying to fix the problem but problem is still there. Finger print sensor gives the massege (finger print sensor not working, try again or restart your device)
1. I have restarted it
2. Tried Factort rest and safe mode
3. There was no software update when this problem acoured
4. *#0*# sensor test shows .. version :null and fingerprint sensor start failed.
5. Cannot open it in application manager... all the options there like , force stop, clean cache or data are not accessible.
So please help me solve this problem

Flash stock firmware. Should fix it. I can tell you for a fact Samsung doesn't disable it to make you buy a new phone
