When i root my grand 2 i worngly uninstall all google app like play store and service etc
So what i done i just download the gapps for android version 4.4.2
And flash it you can try if you don't have custom recovery
Then many install it to system app using es file exporer According to zips file of gapps
For English language i think me we first time or after the hard reset it ask for the language or goto
Setting-under system tap-language and input-language
Try it may work for you
For gapps

Select the ARM-android version 4.4(if you have kitkate) -pico
Try it your own risk i am just gving opinion not recommendition

I have Android 4.3 (Samsung Grand2 > SM-G7106)
I found Gapps (gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip) for Android 4.3 – Jelly Bean (Gapps CyanogenMod 10.2) but not work!
I turn off a phone. Push button UP+HOME+Power and come to android system recovery.
I chose "apply update from external storage" from android system recovery and chose gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
And than come message: failed to verify whole-file signature
I think that I need Odin package and not zip file, because this phone is made for China and I don't find a CWM recovery for this phone
Do you have any Idea?

Hey man. I have one as well but I asked an employee to help root it for me. I am still not sure if it's a full/true root and haven't spent enough time to check myself.
Drivers should have been loaded on the phone when you install it, at least for connection in normal mode. For fastboot and ADB, I don't have them either...

Thanx, i have downloaded firmware, but have troubles with Chinese romasterlab 3.2.1, what same part of menu you clicked for root? It will be very good if you make some screen shots or something like that.

I dont know about romasterlab 3.2.1 , i'm using 3.1.0
after the phone rooted, it will changes the wallpaper, and u got supersu inside the apps menu automatically

Rooted with ROMASTERLAB with the instructions given on page 1. It worked without any hassle
The speaker volume of this phone is very feeble (too low), though in headphone mode it is very good.
Installed Volume+ app, but no help. It seems the phone is having manufacturing defect or it is built this way.
What is your experience regarding sound in speaker mode?

Hi Guys, Few Days Ago I Posted Topic On How To Root Spreadtrum SC8810 Device But No One Was Accurate Enough. I Posted The Same Question On GSM Forum But No One Replied. This Is The 1st Tutorial Abt Rooting All Spreadtrum/Mediatek '&&' Many Other Processors With A Single Click.
Steps:
1) Download USB Drivers For Your Phone. (Google For It). If You Can't Find Drivers For Your Phone Then Contact Me.
2) Download VRoot (Self Modified Version) From Here : Mod Edit: Links removed
3) Install The Program.
4) Connect Your Phone Via USB.

If you have trouble getting ADB driver installed use www.snappea.com, it can install a generic adb driver that will work for what we need!

Edit : I noticed in your old guide that you could remove the chinese superuser after installing english superuser and updating, I've done that
and the prompts now come up from the english superuser, but the chinese one has made itself a system app somehow and I can't delete it,
is there a solution for that or should I just disable it and ignore it.

So you get english superuser prompts when something asks for root? Try using Titanium Back up to uninstall the chinese superuser app.

It is actually quite simple to swap out the chinese superuser for the SuperSU or english Superuser if you know how. I posted how in my post about using Vroot.

Also - for most devices needing an ADB driver, just install snap pea from here: www.snappea.com It will install a generic ADB driver that will work just fine with any and every device I have used it on so far! You might also consider referencing or linking the developer of this tool since it is not of your own design. :good:

Okay, all english people this rom is must have!!! Soon i shall be porting this.
Sometimes during whatsapp I have random reboot, else, great rom. Superb battery life!!
Everything just works no lags.

You need to use the file manager provided with the ROM. It will detect your internal SD card automatically.
Also to flash the ROM, use the recovery file given in the link above.

Backup your current version (with Rom Toolbox or similar app), uninstall it, reboot, finally install new version normally and voila!

Hi. There are no lolipop firmware for Lenovo P780! Soooo... We cannot give you lolipop sources! Sory.

hei dude i made a deodexed version of your east eu rom i was thinking maybe we could put it in android development... what do you think.. personally this is running really sweeter and now is allowing me to get rid of somethings i couldnt get rid of before

there's no need I'll just use some free servers then post it later today...
Can you upload STOCK east-EU flashable.zip to a different host? Download speed from the current one is really slow.
Do I need to have the bootloader locked to flash this rom? Also if I flash stock east eu will get me rid of root?
