[Q] Does my P765 brick? - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Hi All,
My P765 sudden cannot turn on this morning, and cannot enter any mode (download mode, recovery, etc...) :crying:
I still use stock rom and without root and not install 3rd party recovery.
blank screen when press any key, no LG logo, no Android logo.
When use usb connect to computer, it need OMAP driver..
I already follow and use Lelus script to fastboot, but also "Failed: Remote partition doesn't exist"
Does it already brick?
How can I unbrick? Thanks!

Failed: remote partition doesn't exist -Usually means there's a hardware problem.

@upd
You might want to try this method to get in to S/W mode.

my phone dosent get out to Software Upgrade Mode

I've been trying to flash my p768 for JB V20A VIETNAM. i used V20A TELCEL, MEXICO Before this flashing.
So I started flashing the KDZ file, followed all the necessary steps and finally when the process is at 15 percent, flashing stopped saying there is a problem with communication between cell phone and pc.
So i did the workoaround, remove the usb cable and wait for at least 10 secs and reconnect, then waited for all the drivers to install. After restarting the whole process it got stack still at 15 percent. Now I cannot get out of Software update mode even if I remove the battery and start the device again.
also i use Following method. and it dosent work. and at 15 percent, flashing stopped saying there is a problem with communication between cell phone and pc Again.
method:If you were on JB, the phone won't be recognized on "S/W Update" screen by the offline method. You must use the online method :
- Remove the lines you put in your "hosts" file ("127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com" and "127.0.0.1 csmgdl.lgmobile.com") then reboot your computer
- Connect your phone (on the "S/W Update" mode)
- Directly start "B2CAppSetup.exe" : it should detect your phone
- Click on "Customer Support" then "Recovery Phone" (see screenshot on http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2217710)
- Wait and pray... It can be long because it downloads the last KDZ file from official LG servers.
plz help meeee

Download a cwm rooted backup from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136204, copy it to your sd card, access recovery and after doing wipes restore from external sd card. If you have any problem say it here.

The LG Update Tool can install latest drivers for you: did you properly install them ? If your phone can start in "S/W Update" mode, the online unbricking method should work, that's why I think you have a driver issue. Did you also try on another computer with another Windows version ? (the most "driver friendly" version would be a Windows XP at least on SP2).

1: download and unpack xufix.7z
2: use this guide to fastboot your phone, follow what sguerrini97 wrote in 1st post rather than what omap4boot app says
3: run start.bat as administrator
4: put your phone into sw upgrade mode - turn it off, remove battery , hold vol+ and power and plug the usb cable ,"S/W Upgrade" will appear on the screen after a few seconds, put battery back in.
5: use online or offline method to flash any kdz for 768

you need to install fastboot drivers twice, once before you run the omap4fastboot and again after running it when you see that mirrored fastboot text

[q] softbricked? i think?

So I recently wanted to load a custom rom on my p769.
Unfortunately, I tried to flash a rom without actually having the bootloader unlocked (thought i did?)
Now i'm forever stuck at the "LG Security Error" screen.
I can't seem to do anything else! :'(
The only other mode I can boot into is S/W update screen (holding volume up and plugging in usb cable).
I tried to get to another mode I read about (vol up + vol down then plug usb cable for "download" mode, to no avail)
Anyway, once I do get it into sw update mode, I can't seem to do anything either way, when i try to list adb devices, none are listed, when i try to use lg mobile tool, it never connects, when i try to use kdz offline update tool, it doesn't see the phone, it just keeps trying to connect, the log freaks out at "_IsConnectedPhone Call", and just keeps trying to "connect" to phone but can't
Am I totally screwed here?
What can I do? Any help appreciated!

You're on JB, right? KDZ offline flash tool cannot detect phone in JB. you have to flash ICS x-loader/u-boot then that tool can detect your phone. please visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292828
For LG mobile support tool problem, it need to download rom from LG server. Have you remove/comment 1-2 line that you add to hosts file? You said it never connect that mean it don't see your phone?

I've tried this as well, but I don't know if i'm doing it correctly
I installed the 'drivers' it needs (following the readme file) when it shows the "unknown/other" device (the part where you have to catch it in device manager).
After this, I run the start.bat, enter 5 and hit enter, i unplug my phone and hit any key, then i plug it in as it says and it does it's thing, then i wait for 4 seconds when it begins to say "waiting for device", i put my battery in and it just stays there, waiting for device
Can you help me figure this out? Am I doing something wrong?

i think i'm making some progress, thanks for helping so far!
anyway, i'm able to get fastboot on my phone (i think?), the screen on the phone shows the flipped LG logo and at the top right it says 2.0 fastboot (flipped of course)
but, what am i supposed to do here?
i see the 2 omap devices listed on my device manager
whenever i try to run the kdz offline flash tool (if i'm using the right one), it still doesn't detect the phone as connected, doesn't even try, just errors and tells me to connect to usb port and restart or exit
what am i supposed to do once i'm in fastboot recovery for my phone?
should i comment out the 2 listings i added to the hosts file? should i NOT be running shttps app? which kdz offline flash tool should i be using? (currently trying: UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe)

You should run start.bat and select flash ICS u-boot/x-loader for P769
When it finish, reboot you phone to S/W update mode and try to use UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe to flash your P769 kdz again to restore your phone.
Maybe I miss something about P769 model, please search in FAQ forum many people have this issue, and most of them have fixed it.

Please help, I have a problem with my phone LGp760, I do a hard reset but when the phone restarts, I got this error :crying: I can't enter to the phone to change the setting and i can't install the system again because the usb debugging is disabled,
Try updating with LGMobile support tool, i dont think usb debugging matters in that or try flashing kdz with offline fix.

3 options
1 If you're on stock JB and don't have CWM or other recovery installed, You can enter stock recovery with holding Vol- & Home & Power buttom. It'll show android with red regtamgle and you can use adb in that recovery to pull & push files.
2 If that don't work you can try to recover your phone using LG mobile support tool (in my signature)
3 If you want to do a offline flash. On JB firmware flash program don't recognize your phone. You should flash ICS u-boot/x-loader on your phone first using lelus tool. (again in my signature)

[P760][BRICKED] I have only acces to fastboot bootloader mode.

Hello
I think I've bricked my P760. When i want to run my phone it stuck on LG logo and can't boot to OS. Everything was fine but after installing fix to camera i could boot to OS my phone once and after reboot i can't boot to OS anymore. My phone has root, unlocked bootloader, custom recovery and custom ROM. I don't have acces to recovery. I have only acces to bootloader mode with fastboot (VOL+ + HOME + POWER). Then i have a note "Welcome to LG Fastboot Mode ". My computer detects it and automatically installs drivers (Fastboot interface (Google USB ID). But the problem is that in Device Manager it all time blinks. It's connected and immediately dissconects. I'm using original USB cable from LG charger. When i'm trying to use cmd in fastboot & adb files it's waiting for device all the time.
I don't know what I should do next :C

If he really erased LAF from his phone he can not get into download mode any more, because LAF is the download mode.
If he was in the situation where he could erase LAF he could have easily rescued his phone by flashing stock images.
Now it will be hard to rescue but there is nothing to loose any more.
You can try to get into fastboot by:
hold vol + button and connect usb cable.
As soon as you see the fastboot screen release all buttons.
Try to connect your phone via fastboot.
Try to flash original aboot + original LAF
Maybe flash original boot + system
or
Go to Download mode and flash original KDZ in emergency mode (CSE).

If you connect the phone to USB with a PC, does the PC show anything in explorer or device manager?
If yes, there is still a chance to recover it.
I'm referring to THIS task.
I have not done it before but it could work and you have nothing to loose.
Make sure you get the correct KDZ for your phone from HERE.
Extract the original images with WindowsLGFirmwareExtract
You can find the partition list HERE

Nope man, i only hear the usb plug in/plug out sound of Win7 but nothing in explorer or the lg app on the pc. Its obvious that i have the drivers stock and the others of Android SDK platforms (i used adb and fastboot very uasually when the telephone was funtional).
Anyway thank u all for the help, i had the telephone bricked for the unlocking of the bootloader and i thought that my phone was over, the argument is very difficult to afford on this site and on this device, i sent the telephone at the LG Custom Care and they only told me that the motherboard was over and replace it costs 130€ (im Italian) so i reclined their offer (i have also a Oneplus X) but after some deep research on XDA i made big steps forward and maybe if didnt make the stupid thing of forgot to flash the laf stock, maybe i could be able to rescue my phone. So a big big big Thank to the community of XDA and a infinite f**k to LG Custom Care that they would stole me 130€.
Ps. I bought an LG D620 with the display destroyed for 30€ and ill replace the Motherboard.
Pps. Sorry for my bad English.

Wrong thread.
But, if you have a stock ROM, use LG's drivers. If you have a custom ROM, use Google's drivers.
