I update to RC4B rom. But I stock in screen lock. I can't open it. Anyone can help me to solve this problem?

Pull the ring upwards?
If u mean that the screen is stationary and not responsive to any touch input, then I guess you just have to reboot or reinstall the ROM.
Remember to wipe data/cache/Dalvik cache as I always do that before any installation of new ROMs

I tried all the rom samsung installing ICS with ODIN, also with custom rom with full wipe, fix permissions... etc and i dont get lockscreen and power menu, only with the samsung ICS firmware is this happening, works perfect with CM9.
Any ideas?

had already tried, when I go to settings-> security-> Screen lock-> Slide, says no security
So last aug. 5 i hijack my sisters phone with CM7 with no problem encountered in less than 30mins..hahahaha..1st problem encountered: the lock screen (the pattern) it seems that i dont know how to make it work i think something is interfering with the lock screen pattern (idk what it is) then today the pattern i made last aug 5 isnt working now (i am 100% sure that is the pattern i made ) 2nd: before i put the CM7 my sister installed instagram on the stock ROM and there's no problem with it BUT with i port it to CM7 *BOOM* device is incompatible O.O same version same file size same phone any suggestion what when wrong? my priority is how to reset the pattern if the lockscreen wont show in the screen every time i press the (power button) is animates the off screen but when i press it again the LOCKSCREEN is not there O.O

If you want to reset the lockscreen, just go to recovery and flash the CM7 ROM again and do a data-wipe. You'll loose everything on the phone memory (apps).
Hi there everyone
My OS is 4.1.2 XWLS8, rooted and have philz kernel. I had flashed ripple effect on my phone 2 months ago. I was using it without any problem. The lockscreen type was "swipe" But today I changed the lockscreen setting to (i dont know the real translation)"motion" (tap the finger and move the phone to unlock). After this changement my phone start resetting. I can not acces to phone, it is always resetting, I have to take of the battery to stop resetting. Sometimes it reachs to the main screen, but just for a second then it reset again. I think the ripple effect overlap with the "motion" lockscreen setting. If I can reach the settings screen then I can change the lockscreen settings to the default settings. But I can not reach because It is always resetting. How can I solve this problem without wiping? I dont want to loose all my data and apps. I re-flashed the firmware with odin but it didn't work. There should be another solution. Can you help me please?...
Forgive for stating the obvious, but once everything is (working) as you like, Nandroid it, so that any future changes that you are not happy with can easily be reversed with a simple restore.
A Nandroid should also be done prior to any flashing of mods, etc.
Better safe than sorry.

I have a backup before flashing ripple effect. But when I click to restore it It says MD5 mismatch

3. Device Maintenance swapped for Files GO and SystemUI Tuner. To view Battery Stats and Storage, pull down the Quick Settings Panel and on the top right click the three bubbles button and then Button Order. Then move the new Battery and Storage icon to the Quick Settings.
5. Make sure you set Google Dialer as your default phone app. Goto Settings/Apps. Click the three dots in the top right corner. Then click default apps. Then Calling App and select Phone.
6. After first boot, reboot your device once.

cool! Another Rom for our beloved NOTE 9.
Tried installing this, there is something wrong when setting up. Firstly on set up google does not recognise my old pin anymore after flashing. Tried a pincode less back up and that worked. Afterwards when further installing, it keeps asking for a fingerprint but you need to set it uo with a password. Password will get set up the first time and never get recognised again. After trying to set up and tried rebooting the phone screen keeps flickering on the unlock screen.

so i flashed it today (twice) and after a phone restart i get the message "only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed" so i have to restore my phone from odin then restore from twrp. First time it happened i restarted after titanium backup and the second time i restarted after putting my email in the setup wizard.... please fix

flash oreo bootloader and flash the rom again i have this every time i use pie bootloader just flash oreo bootloader it is because the bootloader for pie is not good and it contains problems.

After setting up a password the phone wont recognise the password anymore. So if you reboot you cant use your phone anymore.... Also the screen starts flickering after the reboot. So you cant even enter anything...
Ok this is the 3rd time and I'm done trying for now... Sorry bro I really wished everything worked perfectly but after finishing up the setup wizard, I restarted my phone and I can't go past the lockscreen.... the screen is on loop (comes up for 1 sec and turns off for 10) and that's without restoring any apps.

how to restart phone if i have this error? i cnat reboot to twrp or odin mode. help pls
Used the ROM for quite a while and it's good. The only problem is that I cannot use anything to lock my phone. Fingerprint, face, iris or even the basic ones like pattern, password or pin. Everything just fail. Even you set-up pattern, it doesn't work

works fine for me i will investigate the bug
boys dont use fingerprint sensor or security settings press not now and continue setup press back arrow if you get the fingerprint sensor screen if you want security put pin on your sim card which will lock instantly every time you reboot :good:
