how to remove Flipboard from Note 2 without root? - Galaxy Note II Themes and Apps

Does Anyone Know how to remove Flipboard as Bloadware from Galaxy Note 2 but without root. with root i know.

I don't think you can without root. But I don't have Flipboard installed as bloatware. Stock rom. Had 4.1.2, not 4.3 . I installed it once from Google Play, but didn't like it, and I removed it.

Where did this accuweather widget come from?

So I'm playing around with custom ROMs when the official ICS update comes out. I load it and decide I want to re-root and move back to a custom ROM.
I loaded FJMOD's ROM and then updated to his build 3.
Somewhere along the way, this accuweather widget comes up on my lock screen. It never updates so I want to get rid of it.
Now I'm showing my newbiness - how? There's no option to uninstall in applications. I can see 2 icons listed in System -> Applications - Accuweather Weather Daemon and AccuWeather.com. I can't uninstall either.
I'm guessing this is easy, but I can't find it. Can someone point me to a reference to uninstall "uninstallable" applications?
BTW - I tried to disable the apps, and that worked. But I still can't uninstall.
Thanks
Download tb free and un install. It'll be a system app but you can remove it

You should find it under the ALL tab.
Have you removed the ROOT? if not just use a root explorer to remove it?

Ensure that root access is enabled on your Slimbean rom.
This is quoted from slimroms.net:
Root access works in another way in 4.3 then it was before. It is disabled by default. If you want to have root access go into your Superuser application or in Settings->Developer options and enable it. Please note as well that currently some third party kernels are around which may break root.

Once superuser is enabled, try via the Slimsizer again.
If it still fails:
Use a root explorer app from the play store. Any of them will do. Ensure superuser permission is granted, and remove from system\app.

Thanks a million man. Also, in case anyone else needs this, use a cleaning app after erasing Nova(or anything else), and reboot your phone. Remember to have a second launcher installed prior removing Nova.
I prefer disabling (aka freezing) default keyboards and launchers versus uninstalling. If you ever get in a situation with your alternate app you have a fallback you may potentially be able to reenable

Is there a way to use a stock jellybean homescreen, not a launcher?

You misunderstand. Anything you see from the home screen is the launcher. Without one installed it is just a black screen that you can't do anything with.
If you want that then find the JB launcher somewhere around.

Rooted stock 4.3 n7105, removed Knox with SuperSU, but Knox still blocking some apps

Hello, would appreciate help. I didn't care about warranty issues so I installed stock 4.3 on my international n7105 using the Kies update and rooted it and all works perfectly. I installed the new version of SuperSU and it asked me to remove Knox which I did. All seemed perfect and rooted programs like TItanium Backup and others are working perfectly. HOWEVER, I then tried to use tasker to access secure settings rooted parts of "parition lock" and also "VPN root" to setup auto vpn and with both of these apps I am told they fail to run the task and get the "unauthorized access..." notification telling me to "click here" I do and nothing happens. I have frozen all aspects of Knox in Titanium backup and still these programs are being blocked.
Any suggestions on how to disable it completely? Am I missing something? I want full control.
Thanks!
There's also an app called "ELM and somewhat" and "security policy update (or something)(with a white/grey shield)". This must be freezed too.
I use my Note in an other language so the apps names could be diffrent, sorry for that.
I have rooted my Note II without any KNOX warranthy void and without annoying messages.
I rooted my note this way:
-I have tapped 7 times on kernel version in settings/about device
-Than I choose developper options and tick on USB DEBUGGING
-pressed the home button
-now I started a program on my PC called KINGOROOT (you can download it here: http://limelinx.com/7j76)
-Run the program and give shell root permission. Wait untill 'finished' shows up on the pc
-Open SuperSu and disable KNOX
-Open Titanium Backup and freeze al knox related things + the ELM thing + security policy update (white/grey shield)
- Now you are completely free. Root without any pop ups and nodifications!
-And an extra: download (the latest) XPOSE installer with Wanam module.
You can make your system status official so you can receive OTA updates and you also can unable your favourite apps in multiwindow.

Pokemon Go with root/unroot

Does anyone know if I root my v10 to uninstall bloat then unroot via SuperSU if it will still set off the root detection?
No you should be fine as long as you don't open the app during root session. Just did this the other day on my OnePlus 3 and S7 edge. You'll be fine. If you accidently open the app then just delete and reinstall ????
