I'm trying to install the stock Droid Razr boot animation thought ROM toolbox, but it is not working for me, I tried making it into a god and then assigning it but no luck, is the Galaxy S4 just not compatible with different Boot Animations?

Search s4 forum...and yes s4 uses different format

I don't think you can use rom toolbox because Samsung uses qmg files. It's easy though just search it on google

That doesn't help me. I want a stock ROM. There must be a way to remove it if I'm rooted, but I don't know where it's located or what it's called.

Are you talking about the boot screen or the loading screen? I run a stock rom and get a stock loading screen, but before that I still get an annoying Chinese providers boot logo.

Well, yes, but mine is the stupid 3.uk.co logo. I never had it before on any of the previous ROMs because I always flashed unbranded, but now I have it. I tried flashing a custom kernel (Siyah) because I thought it would be removed, but it wasn't. It's still there and it's hideous. Pure white ugliness.
Somebody's gotta' know how to kill it with fire.

Well, idk if that's possible really.. i was on a korean s3 before and it used to flash the SKT bootscreen.. i got it out by rooting it and flashing a custom rom

Remove bootsamsung**** files from /system/media/.

Thanks! That did it, but now I have no startup or shutdown animation. I tried a custom one from the thread here, but it didn't work.

Im running avatar rom on a gt-i9100 and rom toolbox does not work for it. (Using jelly bean 4.2.2) I have located my bootanimation.zip but no luck finding the boot logo yet.
where can i find the boot animation with the sounds because i really liked it and not so much of a big fan of jelly bams boot
Usually /system/media/bootanimation.zip and /system/media/audio/ui/poweron.ogg
But bootanimation.zip only works in AOSP ROM, but you can enable it in stock ROM, and stock RON using another format (.qmg) of boot animation which is harder to modify

See post in Themes section re Boot Animation enabling . Its an easy CWM flash to enable bootanimation zips in Samsung based roms .

OK so I want to use the card as internal do an SD swap. But I was wondering if I have to reflash ROM and choose sdbswap or if there is a script for my note 2 so I don't lose data and have to start over. Im on beans 14 which is 4.1.2 I believe thanks guys.

Try this zip it works on every note 2 tw rom I've tried. Depends more on which kernel (I use stock/modded) you installed. Must have initd Support... I have flashed multiple times on dif roms without problems...

Yep just flash and reboot. It stays until u flash a new rom or update. Then just reflash.

Hey . I have a note 2 7100 with RR marshmallow . may I go havk to android 4.4.4 or something to swap memory ?
Does anyone know where i could find the Stock Boot Animations for the different carriers and the generic Samsung one from the international Note 2?
I am looking for the ones in bootanimation.zip format for a deodex ROM.
Also, is there any way to get sound working on custom animations?

Look in the full stock ROMs for those different phones and pull the boot animations out.

The Boot Animations from the stock RoMs are in the stock format, not flashable .zip. I do not know how to convert them.
