For those that are enjoying any of the many international ported roms listed here and have a MJ7 build and are on Safestrap, the attached zip should enable WiFi Tether and unlock all 25 of the available toggles. This should work for those on MK2 also but I do not have one to test it with. I've tried this on several of the roms here (Foxhound, Nemesis, BluMak2000, Echoe, Duxter, and M3A1) and it has worked on all. The only problem I encountered is with roms like Nemesis that has custom toggles (including flashlight). Those will not be included with the other 25 toggles after this is flashed. This doesn't create toggles, only enables existing toggles. I'm a little hesitant in posting this as I am not a developer in any sense of the word. This is Surge's work that I managed to tweak a little bit in order to get it to work on these ported roms. Like anything else, do a back up first and flash at your own risk.

Nice work packing this up for the ppl, love you man, thanks for saving me 80x updates Surge's final sql didn't come out until most of those ROMs had been released but I had been trying to sneak it in to updates I've been working on big update coming soon... n some new flavors. just to be clear tho what exactly does this flash? lol is it SS modules for MJ7 and surge's all toggles enabled sqlite3? or is it my all toggles / wifi hotspot / framework / csc / mk2 modules / gps fix / cron / crossbreader / build.prop tweak / part mdk (should work for mdk users as well) / init.d tweaks all in one http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407577712 which is really i should have packed up months ago its saved me so much time i never got to fit sorg's scr mirroring fix in there but that'd be a good merge into the zip maybe merge mine yours and his see what comes out? MJ7 & MK2 versions n then merge the mdk marc pack with those flashing a kt kernel afterwards and we'd be on to something maybe? PS in half hr hope your still up bro gunna PM you some new test roms if you'd be so kind as to try. Your a prime example of a go getter bro. Keep it up your a great asset to the community!

I am currently playing around with customizing my own rom for personal use based of the plain de-odexed rom. I have added various packages like:
Camera mod
oc4 1.2 jac kernal
mobileAP
some custom themes and fonts
swype with voice icon
GPS files from leak
ect
My question is with all the main roms (eugene and Bionix) released there are always references to "Build.prop mods for better data throughput", how can I take JUST THOSE CHANGES and port them into my rom. Is it as simple as using abd pull and push with certain files? Do I need someone to make me a flashable zip package?
Also I noticed eugene in his latest build used a different camera and would love to try that is that just as simple as adb pull and pushing the camera apk?
Any help provided would be truly appreciated I am still kinda a noob.
Also just to be EXTREMELY clear this is only for my personal use and basic knowledge. I wish to take nothing away form the absolutely stellar work these guys do everyday, I simply have some different preferences then the main roms created and would love to learn to take the advantages of each rom and customize them to my own needs.
No one can help me out?

Adrynalyne had earlier posted a flashable zip file for froyo roms, using amend scripts, which adds dial up networking under wireless & networks menu.
The same feature was included in com rom and ukb 2.0 as well. In the latest gb leak based nameless rom, this feature isn't available which leaves me unable to connect my phone to qpst, which is quite useful in fixing few network and data issues.
My request to the developer community is simple. Please give us a flashable zip of edify scripts which can add this necessary feature to the rom. Please see this as a necessary feature and not a verizon bloat.
I hope I haven'toffended any feelings here and will be grateful to anyone who can help me getting this feature enabled on the new gb leak based nameless rom.
Btw, thanks to all developers here for their amazing work on the fascinate!

I just want to 2nd this. I would also love to use CM7, but, for now, data won't work so I too can't connect my phone to QPST and reflash to cricket. I've done everything from a touch diamond to a EVO to cricket, but the fascinate has to be one of the hardest because you have to use two versions etc. This would make it so other users such as myself, JEEZYMT3G, and jenisiz can use CM7 based roms. i'm pretty sure if we could flash in CM7 we could then flash miui if we wished.
I think TSM Parts for Froyo had this option with it. Can anything be done in this regard?

I had a 10.1 Wifi for a couple of Days and Flashed Task650's ROM and I love it, sold it and Getting a 3G tomorrow but I cannot leave with Stock ROM so I am just wondering what is the best 3.2 3G ROM on here to flash.

well you have 3 choices:
complete stock, KJ6
custom that is just stock with root and deodex, Ganbarou 0.3
and custom rom that has more modification and tweaks, Overcome 2.0.0
depends how much you want to stay close to or on stock. Both the custom roms are new this week, so expect them both to have updates as the developers add themes, tweaks etc. (such as extended power menu) -- all three have English and 6 other language options only -- so as a UK user you are in luck. Both have modest themes at this point: more to come and Vertumas is updating his theme for 3G
All three will work with either Pershoot's kernel or RieGo's 0.7 kernel -- but both kernel developers are promising updates this weekend based on the 3.2 firmware, so you may want to wait for those mods to come in too.

I know I'm way late with this reply but....I recently flashed [ROM][JB4.2] Ganbarou GT-P7500/01/10/11 Android 4.2 experimental based on CM10.1
and I love it. One thing I like is that the battery seems to last as long or longer. I use it for my workout programs so it's very important it doesn't die on me LOL :laugh::highfive:
I'm looking for help selecting a ROM that is stable. I've flashed about a half dozen ROMS over the past few months and seem to have to switch because of bugs. Maybe it's because I get whatever is the newest. But I only have three requirements:
STABLE
NFC/Isis/Softcard compatible (even via mod)
Like S5 apps/styling
I really like being able to so *#0011# to see if I'm in AWS mode, but isn't required. I can't seem to do it with AOSP ROMS

Chaos ROM has an S5 theme...
Most stable ROM I've seen is Eclipse though.
If you want stability and s5 features with NFC, go for hyperdrive, its also customizable. If you want a aosp ROM, do eclipse. Those are prob the best Roms for the s4
Hello all, so here's the issue.... Since we have safestarp working (except for rom slots) I have been trying out all the awesome roms available. Well all throughout my testing there is one common denominator and that is I cannot toggle wifi on. If I restore back to my backup of nd7 wifi and all is fine but as soon as I flash a rom through safestrap its a no go. For the record I have tried R3Ds Port Rom and DN3 with full wipe and format before each install. The only ROM I was able to get wifi connected on was Alliance Rom so far, but I really like some of the features of the other two. So can someone offer some help or maybe point me in the right direction because in the threads for the individual roms they say to flash a kernel to fix but that isn't possible in safestrap (as far as I know).
