[APP] [Xposed] Cyclic Lock - Cycle your passcodes! - Xposed Framework Modules

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to figure out someone's password or pattern when they enter it just by watching their finger/thumb placement?
Well, I can! So I thought if i can figure that out so can others. So instead of changing your pattern, password, or pin every time you unlock, you simply set up three with this module.
Then, each time you unlock your phone, the app will switch to your next pattern, pin or password. Simple!
After your first unlock, you will need to grant my app root access for it to work properly.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you wish to be able to unlock your device when one of the three patterns are entered? That's possible but I really don't understand. That greatly reduces the level of security you have as you now have 3 possible passwords it could be at any time versus just one.

I used this yesterday ,its a great idea, but how do i know when to enter a new pattern, pass or pin? cause some times it confuses me,maybe you can put a GUI to the module, and some steps, like 1.-draw the first pattern of the cycle, now put your pin ...... you know what i mean, cause yesterday i was trying to enter my passcode and instead of that it was the pin,and yes ,complete keyboard appeared,so i was thinking, well now its the turn to the passcode, and nope,it was the pin code,so i had a bad time trying to unlock the phone, the only way i managed to unlock it was going to the device administrator on google.
well thats my opinion,i will keep on track this one, cause its very interesting.
thanks.

Thats not how it works.
You cycle between 3 patterns. OR
You cycle between 3 PINs, OR
You cycle between 3 passwords.
You DO NOT cycle between each of the three types. The reason you are prompted for a pin after setting up your pattern is so if you forget your pattern you can use a fallback pin. That is a normal android feature.

you go set up your pin, pattern or password. In androids settings. There is no need for a UI.

This is awesome but I can't seem to get more than two patterns to set unless I'm doing something wrong.
Also, I think it would be cool if there was a GUI where you can choose each of the three and whether you want them to be pattern, pin, etc. if that's possible.
Thank you!

Did you sign up for samsung dive?
No...Can the unlock pattern be by-passed easily?
Try plan b from market.
Plan B from Lookout labs is a find my phone app that you download. AFTER you lose your phone. Thanks to the new Android market, all you have to do is: Login to the Android Market, Find Plan B and Install it. Plan B will start locating your phone using cell towers and GPS. It will email you the location every 10 mins. It works best if you have the GPS enabled already as the app can not do that by it'self.

Surely flashing a stock rom with repartition will remove it? You don't need the pattern to get in download mode. Sorry to hear about your loss.

They wouldn't even need to repartition... This is the only downside of an unlocked bootloader phone.
Thing is, thieves tend to be the lowest levels of civilisation, so will they know how to get it into download mode? Or how to correctly flash it in ODIN? Or do they even know about the possibility of such modes?
Yes, some thieves are smart, but most ain't.
I just don't want them to access my info...I rather they had to wipe it and keep the damn thing.
Will try the App also...thanks.

Been at the hospital for several days. My older brother was in a motorcycle accident and now I'm waiting to see if there's enough brain function left to continue treatment. If contacts all what you need. try to login to his gmail account and contacts will be there because they are typically synched with his gmail account.
Your other option to see his bill statement either online or on paper. you will see his contacts phone numbers typically there with location but not name.
Install android commander on Windows. Connect to your computer and if he had usb debugging "checked" you will be able to access everything via. Windows. Long shot but worth a try. I did this when I smashed my screen and needed to get everything off of it before I sent it in. I'm sorry to hear about your brother.

Really bro? I'm so sick of the 300 mods we have in the 3vo section! Is it in the wrong section? Yes. Did you have to say what u said? NO! I would have done the same damn thing because he's getting answers faster this way. Go be a **** somewhere else...Anyway you might want to try doing the old trick from the early android days. Call his phone from another one and answer it. When u answer it hit the home button and see where that gets you. Hope this helps and God Bless your family

So sorry to hear about your brother. I work for Sprint and unfortunately there is no way to get around a pattern/passcode lock on the phone without a gmail username/password or a hard reset. What you can do is check the sd card to see if there is a vcard file on it. It's possible he made a backup of the contacts on there. The file will end with .vcf. If you see any files like that put them on a computer and import them into another gmail account that you have access to. Hope this helps and I wish your brother luck to recover from his accident.
You could use Juopunutbear to get S-OFF and then flash a custom recovery from fastboot and then either pull his GMail account information from there or at least bypass the lockscreen.

There is no way to bypass the lock screen or get gmail info through the recovery. Plus I'm pretty sure the Juopunutbear bootloader unlocker hard resets the device.
Couldn't you pull the data partition with a recovery menu?
if you know is gmail, then attempt to do a password recovery of it. if u manage to get the password then you'll find all is contacts most likely synced with Google contacts.
check if hes still loggged into his gmail on his PC.
if hes using Firefox, he might of have had firefox save his password on his pc (assuming he as a computer) in the firefox options u can look at a master list of saved passwords and hopefully his gmail would be included...
found a link here: i havent tried it but its worth a shot.
http://droidlessons.com/how-to-reset-your-android-lock-screen-password/
If your familiar with rooting and modding. then maybe u can get clockworkmod on there and from there do a dirty flash of MeanROM or or CM9. there by flashing over the lock screen and pattern while keeping data.... this should be a last resort...
If he has his own computer you could try loging into his Play store and instal an app called : Screen Lock Bypass (search it on Play store).
If this doesnt help then your best luck is to search on Google "bypass android pin lock" and hopefully you find some methods.
And good luck to your brother i hope he gets better. =)
I was able to figure out his yahoo password which allowed me to reset his gmail password! I got his contacts. Thanks!
Anyway I will try to unlock the phone later when this all settles down so one of his sons can at least use it. (Their Mom passed away last summer, they are in their early 20's)
Thank you so much guys!

Urgent help needed

Hey guys, I could really use some help right now. My friend is having my tab and he wrongly hit the password for a couple of time and now I have to enter my Google account to unblock the restriction. The problem here is I've forgotten the password to my Google account. Changing the password does not help because it is not connected to the internet. So, can anyone please direct me to a solution? I don't mind formatting but I need to know how. Btw, my tab is not rooted.

This will wipe the device as if new including wiping the internal SD.

FoxFi Lockscreen Fix!

I have found a way to bypass that annoying FoxFi lockscreen on my Verizon I545 GS4! If you have FoxFi "Already" installed follow these steps:
(1) Press Home button-->Settings-->More-->Security--> Trusted Credentials--> User--> FoxFi--> Scroll down and select Remove-->Home Button.
(2) Re-Start FoxFi App--> Install certificate "BUT" on "Credential Use" select "WiFi"--> Ok-->Ok again-->Enter PIN #--> Turn on Mobile Hot Spot and leave on-->Home Button--> Shut screen off w/pwr button-->Home Button-->Enter PIN #-->Menu--> Settings-->My Device-->Lock Screen--> Enter PIN # for the "LAST TIME"-->Then hit Swipe (no security) and Boom...You're Done!
(3) Now you can turn FoxFi On or Off and don't have to worry about that annoying lock screen...Enjoy!
PS...If that annoying "Warning Triangle" happens to show up (it may not show anymore) just-->Swipe down on the notification panel and press clear if you don't want to see it while FoxFi is on!

Yes it works with Nova. However, the specific steps noted by the OP are different. Basically, after you remove the FoxFi credential make sure you set the lock screen back to swipe, you need to use the wi-fi option when setting up the credentials, leave FoxFi on and turn off the screen, enter your pin, reset the lock screen to whatever you like, and then you are ready to go.
Thanks OP for finding the fix.

What is TW?
I'm stock, unrooted and on 4.4.2 and I've had no luck being able to set anything other than a PIN or Password. I followed the steps exactly.
One thing that might be of note is that simply removing the FoxFi credential doesn't give me back the option to set anything other than a PIN/Pass, I actually have to click on "Clear Credentials" under Settings > Security to remove all certificates before it gives me the option to use a pattern lock or no lock at all.

LaTropa64,
TW= Touch Wiz is Samsung's Original Launcher...
LaTropa64, Reinstall FoxFi like you normally would, put in your pin and THEN follow the instructions I've provided. I believe you've cleared the CLEAR CREDENTIALS tab instead of clicking the TRUSTED CREDENTIALS tab. Just start from scratch and you'll be fine! So far it's worked on the previous members without any problems and they're utilizing TW (Touch Wiz) and Nova Launchers and they are enjoying free Hot Spot without any annoying PIN's and Patterns...

Please help.. this did not work for me. I was able to follow it until LOCK SCREEN - PIN and then the SWIPE is greyed out. I cannot select it - my only two choices are PIN and PASSWORD...
Same here, but I'm on a Galaxy S5.
SmitnLit, RockyM,
Are you guys Rooted? If Not maybe you clicked on "Clear Credentials" instead of "Trusted Credentials" in step # 1
After you've clicked "Trusted Credentials" Click "User" Then Click on "FoxFi" then SCROLL down till you see "Remove" click on that then proceed to step #2...
I currently have a Verizon i545 GS4 STOCK with Kit Kat 4.4.2 and so far it's work for me and a few other member's in the forum...
Keep me posted guys!

Thanks Housing, will give this another try tonight. Any idea if this will work on the S5? (I noticed you're on an S4).

RockyM,
I don't know if it works on the GS5 but if anyone has tried my above fix on the GS5...please chime in!
Let me know how you make out tonight!
(2) Re-Start FoxFi App--> Install certificate "BUT" on "Credential Use" select "WiFi"--> Ok-->
I got to this point and then I got the message "Enter password for credential storage". I get the same if I select VPN and apps also. What password is it talking about?
