Hello to all!
What I wonder is now a thing of vital importance! : D
I really like the Roma often change, because it is really nice to try them all.
But the biggest problem is the reset every time the app and especially data relating to them. Does anyone know how can I do? The app, using ROM toolbox, etc. Titanium will reset the time. While the data ever.
I have no idea wat u are saying but I supposed u meant u love flashing roms, but titanium does not back up the entire data? There's no way to help it though.

After using an app called TS 2 which encrypts photos and videos, my Allstream began bootlooping. It would get to the Sense touchscreen, and as soon as i pulled the ring up, boot loop began. What was the possible cause of this ?
Also, I've been spending the last2 hours getting my tablet back to normal.thankfully, all my music and data is backed up online w google or Picasa or etc.
Related question:
Though, like my synergy Rom on EVO, is there a way to enable the jetstream to automatically Download all the apps again when a flash or restore occurs? Is root needed for that?
If you checked Google to backup your apps, your apps should reinstall minus the data.

Ok. Really unhappy now. I rebooted my device after spending hours yesterday restoring it and it is still bootlooping after a factory reset. When I pull the lockscreen run, it crashes and reboots. Please help.
Possible causes?
possible fixes?

is there a chance your issue is related to that thread?

i never had bootloops myself, so i cant quite help. sorrys.
I'm unsure. I was on WiFi when it happened. I don't know of that makes a difference. Also, I had screen rotation off, so I was unable to rotate to check.
Could this glitch be fixed with root?

Also, my jetstream does not bootloop on its own. It only happens once I tell the device to reboot.
I'm afraid to reboot it now lol. It's done it twice and the hours I've out in to restoring it is not cool.
I need nandrioid!!

Ive had GT-I9300 model for several weeks now. Got it from Expansys. Didnt really notice this problem up until 1-2 weeks ago and its been happening alot throughout the day. I even tried factory reset and the problem is still present. Im talking about apps force closing alot. If im on facebook and im multi tasking or just using facebook app trying to view pics etc the app will lag and it will force close..sometimes this gets so bad that phone restarts on its own...it def. doesnt feel like quadcore at all.. the whole phone is just very slugish. What can I do here. Thinking about selling it and get gnex if this continues to happen without any solution.

mind mentioning the app name that force closes.? try updating the apps to latest version or try different apps for the purpose.
if you are still not satisfied with performance and going to break it anyway then please courier it to me

So you would blame GSIII if rogue apps from market FC? You should even mention the app names as bala said and whether you have restored data? This kind of half baked question will never get a proper answer
If you search the forums properly you will find alot of threads with advices how to remove the said sluggishness from your s3 via turning off certain settings like s voice and also heed the previous poster's warning about rogue apps.
When i turned off alot of unnecessary settings the lag came off and i can listen to music while playing HD games while having my facebook on the background.

Will we ever have a better rooting solution on locked bootloaders without losing our data and stuff?
Is that even possible?
You can always make a backup, can't you?
I know but I don't to go through the hassle of restoring every single app, settings and anything else really.
I'd just like to know if there will ever be a method of rooting on locked bootloaders and staying on current firmware without losing anything.
The answer to your Hassel is TITANIUM BACK UP PRO.. It's really easy to back up n restore.. My one mostly takes a "click".. Always used da Batch commands to bck up n restore.. Really easy.. Try it..

It seems as if every time I flash a new ROM and try restoring my applications, data, and settings, something ALWAYS goes wrong or doesn't restore correctly.
What is the right way to use TiBu and/or how do YOU use it from backup to satisfied restore?

I only backup user apps and data, and all is fine time after time. Whenever I experience unexpected behavior is when I do that with system apps and data.

Yeah. Like he said... I'm always afraid to try new ROMs because I'm afraid I'll end up screwed. People here tlak about baouncing back and forth like it's no big deal, but when I've tried it I seem to end up having to start from scratch.

Try downloading a wake lock manager, just do a Google search for one. Then use the phone as you normally would. It will analyse which apps are preventing deep sleep

Ah sorry, i hadn't seen them! The offending apps/processes are clearly highlighted, try going to the application manager, all apps tab, and scroll down to the respective process. Either disable it or un install. If neither is an option then try freezing it and unfreezing it, or clearing the cache

My mobile remain awake most of the time randomly. It doesn't go into deep sleep. Any help.
For example, the download manager can be paused, as can the network location service. As a last resort, if your phone is rooted, replace your kernel with a different one, it may not be handling wake lock management very well.

you. guys have to do a wiped clean install from scratch witch means..
do a full wipe/factory reset then go in mount/storage and format system (remember to remount it again afterwards)
then flash rom+gapps - this way you have no leftovers whatsoever!
i have no deep sleep issues done this way or else for that matter
No need to flash anything..
Backup all 3'rd party apps + callogs/sms/settings(no system apps, only data) with titanium backup. Then do a factory reset, now install your backups without data and restore your system data..
The apps u installed the last 10 days, those should be restored with some time difference so u can monitor witch app is causing wake locks..
Alternative is to uninstall the apps u installed the last 10 days,to see if that fixes your wake lock problem..
Ps. Facebook can cause wakelocks
First..what 3rd party apps are?? Then
Did u saw the screen shoot?? U will find a process named audioOut_1 at partial wakelock (plz reverse the screen shoots maybe u can know what is happining)
I excuse u to tell me what my problem is in
Btw this isuee is appeared today and i have uninstalled the recent up. No thing change..no sleep just 8 min throght this isuee
Thaaaanks and plz reply me as fast u can

U call this easier ? and u dont even now if it solves the problem, after all this hassle, and then u even say do a factory reset..lol do the fresh install and be sure there's no left overs, thats the only way to exclude possible errors! and by far a lot faster too
then if problem persists, install betterbatterystats 0.92 from market to see whats preventing phone to sleep - but there iset any if u do full wipe!
But idont need rom. I need stock l...only root..so what i have to flash?!
