Don't know my brother owns this device...
ParanoidAndroid supports TWRP but it failed at zip Installation i think cause of the boot.img that couldn't get flashed. It's a crap
Used cwm at the end...
Need to prove if system gets correctly flashed with twrp if so twrp would be the right choice.

thanks for the feedback looks like those are indeed bugs except charging led is not implemented in aospa-legacy (need to have a look)
are gps and bluetooth also issues on cm11? cause i used their device tree...
can someone confirm bluetooth (saw some errors in log but have no headset file transfer is nice)
TWRP doesn't flash correctly so this should be the right choice:

btw op updated with beta3 including peek:
Peek seems so natural with respect to how one uses their mobile phones. You don't always need to have a full look at the notifications you receive while you're doing something like walking down the street or even driving. Peek allows you to have a look at what you receive almost instantly, without making you unlock your device and go through your notifications. It's just so simple, yet beautiful.
More on how Peek works -
Sensors are fully disabled when screen is on. When you turn the screen off, it will start polling both gyroscope and proximity sensor values. If it detects using the gyroscope sensor that device is lying on a table, it disables proximity polling. If it detects with proximity sensor that it is in your pocket, it disables gyroscope polling. This way, we save some battery from the beginning. Later, when you receive a notification, it enables a partial wakelock (CPU on but at low frequency), and starts listening for movement, either from getting it out your pocket or lifting off from the table. If it detects those events, it will turn on screen and show the notification. Wakelock timeouts on 10 secs, so if you receive a notification and there is no movement in that time, sensors will stop polling after that time, disabling peek interaction until a new notification comes.

ROM working fine so far. updated to BETA3.
I only have one issue , the charging LED doesn't work.and sometimes the charging LED is ON even when the phone isn't connected to the charger.I think it happens when I restart the phone while its connected to the charger (after rebooting it the LED stays ON even when I unplug it. it gets fixed by a reboot)
ok, after installing beta3 i received some messages like "android.process.location stopped" and "android.process.media stopped" (???). sorry, i forgot to save the logs. then i reboot and the messages dont appear again.
but still no gps signal :crying:
can someone test if this fixes charging led?

ISSUES
This rom has got most of functionality of CM9.1 and, also, the same bugs/issues. For native wifi wakeup 3rd part app is needed.
CM Wallpapers have been removed for saving /system space. You can download them here: CMWallpapers.apk. You can to unzip the wallpapers from here.
Install as usual in CM9. You must to use JellyBean gapps gapps-jb-20120726-small_armv6.zip.
* For trackpad wakeup, an script has been include (thanks to winsuk from aria) in /system/bin/trackballwakeup. Just execute it in a shell and reboot.
Note "keep Wifi on during sleep" is set up 'Never' by default. Change it to 'Always', otherwise you will have reboots.
data usage is not working yet.
Voice Search with Google Now, try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1770100
To make the pop up keyboard working you need to turn off the physical kb in Lang. & input -> Default -> hardware physical kb -> off.
then, you still can use the phys. kb. but it will be two keyboards together at the same time.
Keyboard lights is not working.
Youtube HQ / Video HQ is working, thanks to Ganster41 libstagefright fix for Video decoding. However, embebed youtube videos in browser are not working.
Camera is built as LegacyCamer so it has not got former more advanced options, neither panoramic mode.
Camcording is fixed. Check quality and fps are enough,

Good rom. Camera is a little buggy it work though ... Soft Keyboard is not working.. Why is voice action not working?
Sorted the cam problem by using instagram. I tried cam ics, cam jb, zoom cam and line cam and they all kept FCing. The FN key works, but my home key doesn't.
trying to restore apps. sometimes they're crashing, sometimes working.
calc. doesn't work, keyboard doesn't pop up. no lite on keyboard, shift or fn.
the big issue is wifi! because it doesn't download. the same problem i had on ICS and unfortunately i did not find a solution .

Wifi is reported it works fine. It is possible a issue with your router; try out only b/g type connection instead of b/g/n or b/g/n/a.
The device tree is updated: https://github.com/zeubea/android_device_htc_espresso. Someone could check overlay, keylayout, keychar files are ok. (I can not test this because I have not got the device ).

Oh I'm sorry! I was wrong!!!!!!! It can't upload! Downloading is fine, but uploading is not working. This issue I have since ICS, the CM7 works just fine and I don't think that the problem is in my router.
I'm gonna wait a bit until you fix some bags and then try it again.

Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP but now OMNI-ROM, brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. This ROM will always be free of charge without any strings attached or any of it's developers luring you into donating or any form of "pay to flash".
"Give credit and thanks where is due!" That's something that has fuel the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....
| Omni-ROM | AOKP | ChaOS | Paranoidandroid | SlimROMs | Preludedrew | Official Testers / Translators | Team Blackout
Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

Yeah, the "torch" application isn't there, and the lock screen shortcuts for it don't work. You can install a 3rd.party and works fine though.
ROM isn't suffering from reboots on my phone. It is running freaking awesome . I'd suggest flashing rom and let it settle for ~15 min, then reboot and flash gapps if you run into any problems at first.

Keep in mind you can install Xposed Gravitybox (KK), there's an option in there to disable cap lights completely. Of course I haven't tried the latest build which should fix this issue without xposed... Still no reboots for me, running like a top

VoIP
A bit of a random question but i've read that VoIP has not worked or not worked right since mid dec on all KK rom's. That being said i was wondering if it is known as a CM problem or a actual KK problem. Reason i'm asking is cause of this being mostly Omni based would that possibly make a difference.
I will try to download and flash tonight and post back on VoIP testing, and anything else i can try to dig up between now and then.
Thank you patch for all the work you put into building Roms for the Note !

thank's.
Voip?? Try Google Voice!
Well if this ROM downloads Google voice and voice+ it will work just, activate Google voice and voice+ and you can call and receive and send texts with your google voice number if it doesn't have voice+, just download voice, GV integration and busy box apps and you will have voip with your google voice number! Works for me with any phone or rom Ive tried it on!!

hey patch so I just flashed n installed the newest update and the 4 keys are lighted and won't turn off (waaaaa!!!!) I installed fresh even did superwipe xt before I flashed rom....I installed ud_quincyatt_20140225-2110.zip unless that's the wrong one lol but I click on latest and that's what it gives me....is there a way to turn them off from Dirty Tweaks Menu? one thing is i'm loving the Dirty Tweaks Menu it's got a lot of things gravity box has....if it doesn't have that option then i'll just install GB and turn them off....thanks for the rom patch....a new rom to test and report!!
It may be aging but......
I concur Thank-you for all the excellent work but aging or not this phone still beats 99% of any new or old smartphone on the market today! So it is well worth maintaining!

A quick heads up:
1. The wakelocks should be fixed
2. The capacitive lights are going off (for me at least) on this initial release with the stock CM kernel
3. Camera works fine, video does not yet record
4. This is very much a work in progress
5. None of this would be possible for our aging device without the hard work of one Mr. @ktempleton
and all of Team Dirt as well!!

Well that's really weird but as we all know.....every phone reacts a little differently to different roms.....and no, no option in dirty tweaks......I guess you'll have to use gravity box. You could also re download and wipe really clean and re flash....hope it pans out though!

The keyboard didnt work for me by default, I had to check to some really obscure option in settings for it to work(This problem might just be limited to me though)
I'm just amazed we got Lollipop at all, and I know things can only get smoother and less buggy from here. Thanks sbrissen!
Going to give it a try and will let you know how it works.
This may come across as a stupid question but are you referring to a kitkat compatible recovery like the latest Philz or latest CWM or an actual "kitkat" recovery?
Thanks in advance.

Wow... lolly pop is super smooth. Like butter. I had an issue with getting the keyboard to pop up at first. The camera only works in selfy mode and crashed when I tried video. I also live in central Pennsylvania so after I sent one text, it wouldn't send anymore. That can be fixed though on my end, I think. I also couldn't hang up on a call. All in all though great start.
Will lollypop get the theme engine like CM? I think that was the only thing I would miss in it.

I installed with twrp 2.8.1.0. Could not get keyboard either. Had to go into language and input and turn on hardware keyboard. That made the keyboard start popping up. I'm also getting the black pixels during screen rotation. So far it looks like there's no way to disable the capacitive button lights either
Pretty darn awesome that this is out though! Thank you so much
Only big bug I have encounter in an hour or so of playing around is that it cannot connect to the rear camera, only front facing, as glockman4519 stated. And also the keyboard bug, but that's only on the first boot so far.

Found another bug, or maybe I'm just dumb, but I cannot get the heads-up notifications to do anything. When you have the screen on and you get a text or a phone call, the notification will pop up along the top, and I can only swipe them away. I cannot tap them to open the app, I cannot press the 'answer' or 'ignore' buttons that pop up on the phone call notification. I tried tapping, double tapping, swiping up. Nothing. I can only dismiss the notification by swiping left or right.
Anybody else experiencing this? Or am I doing something wrong?

Still no keyboard for me. I didn't see any option to "turn on hardware keyboard". When I clicked on the item under "hardware keyboard", it popped up a window saying "configure keyboard input method" or something like that. I configured one, and then hit the back button till I got back to my home screen, but still couldn't get a keyboard to pop up. I'm using Nova launcher, if that makes any difference. And trying to use Hacker's Keyboard....

I couldn't get the main camera to work. The front, or the one used to take selfys is the one that comes on by default. And there was no way to turn the camera around. This was on my phone and your mileage may differ though.
Give it some time though as this is the early release and will have bugs. I have to say again though that the smoothness of this rom is unreal.
Tried everything, verified md5, wiped it raw, tried newest Philz and TWRP. Cannot get this bad boy to boot. Just bootloops over and over again. Sigh.. This build don't like my phone.
pixelation during rotation is fixed, it was some legacy graphic code that got merged that fixed it. Working on stabalizing ril, gps, and some other fixes.

ROM is amazing so far, but one little annoying thing: DT2W works maybe half the time at best. The other half of the time, the phone doesn't respond at all, even if I tap it a few dozen times with varying speeds and locations on the screen. Contrasting that, DT2S works every single time, whether I do it from the status bar or with the Home key (I have it set double-tap on that too, since I really miss s2s on the navigation bar like is available on Sense kernels).

I have posted this a couple place and have not got a response yet. Maybe u can help? With the new CM audio commits added I am getting a very faint popping sound coming from my speakers and continuously. I have attached a link to a screen recording with sound and you will have to run it up and listen closely but you can hear it right in the beginning and then again toward the end after I hit the home button. It does not do it when I run an RUU back to stock and never happened on any builds until these audio commits.

That is not possible because of some reasons:
- The Illumination Bar does not support different colors with deep sleep on. That's a hardware thing.
If you missed a notification for 5 hours, your battery drain. The exception of the charging light could only be done because the phone doesn't need to be on deep sleep when it's plugged in.
- Android has no support for more than one notification light. What you're asking for would need a complete reprogramming of the notification system of Android so it would have 3 notification light "channels". Currently, the developers have "tied together" the three LEDs. Android (more or less) thinks it's just one LED. The UI for that feature could be done easily, the programming of the feature itself not.
@rundgong, the developer of "illumination bar notification" and "u-disco" made this clear years ago. He always said he COULD combine the features of these two apps, but he wouldn't because of the battery drain. And he "only" wrote an app where he could do whatever he wanted to. @Mrcl1450 and @Adrian DC write a rom which is going to become an official Cyanogenmod rom. If they added features, it couldn't become official. We would never get OTA updates.
If you still want the feature and if you don't care about battery drain:
Write an app yourself, there are MANY information on the internet how the illumination bar works.

Interesting idea. But it would need a rewrite of the lockscreen. I don't think that would be "cyanogen-compliant".
I have an idea how it could be done with Tasker. I'm not sure... I've got no time now, but I'll report later if I find a way to do it.

well ok then.. how about the notif bar turn off after certain times, like 1 hour or so if we don't read the notification?
ex: if someone text me when i was asleep at night, the lightbar would drain up the battery, no?
forgive me if this feature's already there since i never tried doing that, or if this feature would be "cyanogen-compliant".

You won't notice a difference in battery drain. Let's do a small calculation:
A common small LED has a wattage of 0.05W. Our battery has 2300mAh. With a Voltage of about 3.8V.
Energy of out battery:
2.3Ah * 3.8V = 8.74Wh
How long can that light up 1 LED?
8.74Wh / 0.05W = 174h
But we have 3 LEDs
174h / 3 = 58h
Well, they blink and aren't permanently turned on! Lets say it's 50:50
58h * 2 = 116h
Our battery could do notification light for 116h! That's almost 5 days...
Stop bothering about LEDs' power consumption!

Illumination Bar settings
A small teaser of what I'm about to finish and commit
Is it possible to have LEDs flashing when there is an incoming call for a device running on custom roms?
Is this possible with this mod or any other 3rd party apps?
No not for the moment.
Alright, work on this two features should be done, so here's a test build !
This is a fully updated CM-12.1 but with the stable device sources from 10/07,
I wanted this build to be working fine to have a real Illumination Bar test.

The ability of activating all the LEDs (full Illumination Bar) or just the one (basic mode),
and a general setting of the LEDs brightness that is used by ALL notifications,
meaning apps with custom notifications won't flash at 100% brightness
when you want the default color to be 1% bright .
Changes impacts 3 CM sources + 2 of our Huashan sources.

hope it will work flawlessly
good job and good luck :good:
