What recovery are you on? I have gotten that before and it was a problem with the recovery or a bad download. also try to manually mounting the system and sd card and external sd card in the mount option on the main menu of safetrap.

Ok so it says select partitions to mount: my phone has the micro sdcard and internal storage and chache checked and then you should just push the back button and it should be mounted. the only other thing is go to advanced menu and click fix permissions. I think it also could be something with your download.

Mine has the same checked. I fixed permissions. What are you referring to when you say download?

Tydiamond11 means the ROM you are trying to install.
He says download because, it may have been corrupted when you tried to download a copy so the "download" is bad, not the available ROM itself.

The ROMs flash fine. Working great

/osh has to do with lapdock/webtop... essentially the ROM you are loading doesn't support it, which isn't surprising, so it is telling you it couldn't mount anything in that partition.
Nothing to worry about.

AOSP roms cause no boot?

Whenever I flash a AOSP based rom my device will not boot. But if I flash a touchwiz rom its all good. Any ideas why? Same process for them both. Though I have to flash gapps after aosp.

The obvious question: what build is your phone? Are you MDK with LOKI-enabled custom recovery?
If so, did you flash the proper kernel to support your ROM? AOSP ROMs won't work with the stock kernel.
If you're not running MDK build, then you can't run AOSP-based ROMs.
Using TWRP. And yes im on mdk. Not flashing any kernals.

I could be wrong but i think the first TWRP recovery that supported Loki exploit was 2.5.0.2 but that doesn't explain why you are able to flash TW roms as that requires Loki as well. Make sure you're not on 2.6.0.0 I did hear some issues with TWRP higher then 2.5.0.2 but they may have been ironed out. I have stayed with 2.5.0.2 and likely wont update ever from it unless i have to.

Yeah there is a flashable some where in here. Just flash it in twrp that you have installed now. It will revert it back to the older version. Good practice after flashing the replacement recovery is to reboot to recovery after install to make sure it took before rebooting to system.

Back to 4.3

Hi everyone. Got this phone just a few days ago and updated it to 4.4 the next day. Sadly I didn't do any research before doing so and realized I can't transfer files to the memory card with 4.4. Is there a way to flash the older 4.3JB the easy way? Like the Samsung Odin way? The last time I had an HTC was with the One X and I did not do any tinkering with it. So please forgive my noobness. Or is there another way to have the old access to mem card without having to root? Thanks guys.

I have the vzw HTC one max it was rooted soff with NUsense six 4.4.2 rom installed. Well I left my phone laying on the table and went to the store and when I got back my son had it playing around with it. As soon as I walked through the front door he had this look on his face like OH SH$!. My little boy managed to wipe everything everything on my sd card is gone all of my backups everything. So now I'm stuck on the TWRP recovery screen I'm afraid to turn it off. I can still get to bootloader/hboot stuff. There's no OS installed on my phone. Man I don't know what I'm gonna do. I hope that you or someone can help me out here. Also it says that my max isn't rooted but it's still unlocked.

You can use adb to push a Rom to your phone in twrp I believe.
in Command Prompt,
type "adb push ROM.zip /sdcard/ROM.zip" replacing ROM with the EXACT name of the ROM file and including the .zip piece on both ends.

Ok. So in twrp go to advanced and choose adb sideload. Swipe to enter sideload mode.
Put the Rom you would like to be running in your fastboot/adb directory. Open cmd prompt to that directory and issue the following command ..
Adb sideload nameofrom.zip
Of course using the actual name of your Rom zip instead of nameofrom.zip.

if so did you backup stock rom, before installing a rom over it?
if so, restore backup. if not maybe someone can upload a backup of stock rom,
if not, you will need to flash stock system.img, if you want stock rom.
I have uploaded a copy of my stock rom nandroid backup for my XT908, but have no idea how well it will work on a XT910

try deleting rom slot and recreate slot?
what rom version are you using?
I just tried miui_xt912_santajin_4.10.10_75c338fa2e_4.4
and it installed on both rom slot 1 and 2, without error,
using Safestrap-spyder-v3.75-unused-partitions.apk, on my XT908, should be the same as Safestrap-umts_spyder-v3.75.apk
