Galaxy S II SGH-I777 CALLPHONES PROBLEMS - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

I NEED HELP MY DEAR FRIENDS!
i found your post about the Permanently Fix SGS2 Echo and Digital Noise Reduction, and i want to know if you can help me to detect some issues and problems that i have with this model, the Galaxy S II SGH-I777 sold by Straight Talk tracfone, they never update the cellphone.
Im from México, and i unlock the cellphone, to use it you to need to change the Stock Rom, a gingerbread 2.3.6 to an custom rom, you can find several AT&T SII SGH-I777 custom roms on the network. I was testing severals, all the cyanogen mods, in the nightly, experimental, stable version with different android versions, the touchwiz samsung custom roms, paranoid android, whatever. And i have the same problem, i can`t use the phone calls, i was thinking that i need to change the modem to find the correct files to use it in México.
But i have signal, i can call, i can receive calls and make them, but i can`t hear nothing and the people in the other side, they can`t hear me, i test Bluetooth headphones with mic, earphones, the internal speakers, but nothing change. At last, i tried to use the Digital Noise Reduction/Cancellation, and i think that i can resolve all the stuff if i use the samsung codes to enter to the ServiceMode Menu, i tried to select the audio options on the Main Menu, but surprisingly, the Audio Menu, it's inaccessible, or do not exist.
I was searching something about that, i some users said in their post that Samsung block the Audio Menu, but i don't nothing about that for real.
So, i wanna know if you fix in the past something similar to this problem. I was thinking that i need to replace the whole Earpiece Speaker Earphone Jack Flex Cable of the Samsung Galaxy S II I777. i don't know if It's is a software problem because i re-install the stock rom via odin, with the original modem, pit and kernel files. The audio files to configure the ServiceMode are installed i a different partition, or why can't re-install all the real options?
My question is, that if the Earphone Jack Flex Cable do not work properly, the Audio options in the ServiceMode it's been made affected by this issue or the stock rom comes with this limitations? How can i do my friend?

No need to double-post your question, friend, it's more likely to get answered in only one place.
Regarding your issue, what rom are you on now? You said you've flashed a lot of roms, including Samsung ones; those stock-based roms flash their own modems, so it's possible the modern you have now isn't compatible with your device.
Look in the System Settings>About Phone and tell is what rom/modern/kernel you have.

In Call issues

Hello everybody, I have a GT-I9300 that I have bought from China. I have been running Slim ROM for a while and this weird issue appeared: When I call someone or someone calls me I cannot hear anything and the other side can't hear me. I would like to note that Skype and viber work just fine.
I have tried the following:
1. Changing to Omega ROM.
2. Flashing new firmware that got my efs folder unreadable.
3. Flashing couple more firmwares until I got my imei back.
4. Flashing modems and cscs for my country.
5. Random settings that people on the net recommended changing.
At this moment I am still stuck with this in Call issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Question about audio output...not working

Alright, so a while back, my loudspeaker started to cut in and out, and when i would fire up a game it would come through all distorted or muffled. Upon exiting the game, i could fire up play music, select a track, and it would play fine. But then back to any other application, and it would be muffled again. Notifications come through the earpiece, and eventually no sounds at all come through the loudspeaker. Then i reboot and its all fine again.
I factory reset, and it did not help. I plugged in headphones (and wheres where it gets interesting) the headphones output the same weird muffled quality of sound that the speaker was producing. So is it not the loudspeaker?
I tried to flash a different rom over, still didnt help it at all. Im not exactly sure whats going on, but nothing i am doing seems to be helping. Can anyone help me?
That doesn't sound like a software problem, that maybe the sound producing hardware ( amplifier ) that seems to be working intermittently, just happens to work when you change applications. Is your device rooted? If so, have you tried to go back to stock via Odin installed stock .tar OS ( kk 4.4.2 ) ?

I think that you should go back to stock or stock rooted, via a recovery backup, or installing a new OS. This would eliminate the possibility of a software problem. So if it works good on stock OS setup, great !!! Then you know its not a hardware problem. If doesn't work properly you will have to replace the device. Now assuming it does work correctly, you can reinstall the other rom that was giving you a sound problem and I would try installing a different kernel. The sound driver in a different kernel my work better.

[i9300]Sound/Reboot problem, need an opinion

Hi, i have some problems with my galaxy s3 (i9300) international version. I don't have a warranty.
Android version: 4.3, stock
Problems:
-keeps restarting (very often)
-no sound at all, speaker or earphone
-microphone not working (not working in call, google now said that cannot connect to microphone)
I tried reflashing stock, same problems, i tried 3 custom roms including cm11, same problems. I cleared cache, dalvik, wipe data, nothing changed.
In my noob opinion, i think the motherboard is the problem, i don't think it's a software issue after all i've tried, but before i order a new motherboard for replacing, i would like to hear other opinions.
Thx in advance for your replies.
bump... anyone?

I agree with your assessment. You have tried various roms and it didn't fix the problem so this on points to hardware.
Hardware seems the likely culprit here.

Phone Calls Audio Problem

Hi all,
I have a Galaxy S" i9300 and I've been using NeatRom since a long time now, maybe 2 years or more without any issue, but since few weeks I'm having problem with phone calls, I can't hear and they can't hear me, so the speaker and the microphone are not working during call. While if not in a call they work fine, I can record my voice, listen to music...
I've tried many thing, full wipe, flash the latest NeatRom but nothing worked.
I've flashed also the latest stock rom but the issue remain the same.
Any idea please?
Thanks
Flash a stock rom via odin and boot it up. Go to the dialer and press *#0*# for factory test mode.
From there you can test the hardware. Factory test mode is not accessable via custom roms.

Tried that already.
Nothing looks wrong from *#0*#
Then the problem has to be software.
Most likely it is an hardware problem.
Search on google for: samsung i9300 no sound during calls
I have two S3 devices that have the same problem.
Tried factory reset, flash original rom, flash Cyanogenmod (CM11 & CM 13) and flashing modems. Nothing seems to be working.
Some people tried to apply pressure on the Audio IC chip. Maybe you can try this. More information about this can be found here.

Not true. I had this issue and it was software related.
Also, op states "no fault" with factory test mode.

What I said was "Most likely". That doesn't exclude software.

Microphone Problem in Android 11

Hi there
Since I updated my MI A3 to Android 11 the microphone sometimes doesn't record voices !
( I reset and flashed my phone so many times but didn't solve )
Upppppp
If you flashed stock with miflash... Probably the problem is hardware. I have flashed many stock and custom a11 firmware. And my microphone work well. A question. When you reflashed stock rom... You have changed the active slot? All updates are installed on slot b. So if want to make a good clean istallation... In my opinion is better set active slot to a via fastboot before flash. Try this. Also you can try a custom stable rom with oss drivers. But is important to make a good installation. Or the software problems may not be solved
Recently after owning a new car that is my first using Bluetooth handsfree option, I discovered this issue.
It seems the mic got somehow "stuck" to the car when I leave it, as the phone's normal mic then is okay. Just when trying to use the phone's handsfree mic in a call oder video calling in signal or hangouts it doesnt work. Even recording videos using the camera app is fine, but any handsfree option for any communication does not work.
Restarting the device or restarting bluetooth does not work. Somehow the phone recovers after sometime. When, why and how I do not know.
It definitely breaks down again once reconnected to the car.
with other bt devices have same problem?
Sadly I don't have any other bt device that is handsfree mic capable, I just own a speaker that is connected every now and then - it was my first idea to recover it by connecting to another bt device (the said speaker), but it does not work. Of course, the speaker is not connected using the same bt variant, the icon in the phone's settings is different.
mmmm... for this issue, the solution are: try delete all bt connection. if dont work try install latest software update. if dont work the definitive solution is wipe data and make a new clean installation. i suggest do this via miflash
