[Q] MultiRom Booting issue. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Today I got my Nexus 4 and started to play with it .I am a complete novice to rooting and android .
I wanted to dual boot Android and Ubuntu Touch , came across this nice app called MultiRom which needed rooting .I dug around a bit .
Finally rooted the phone using CMW ( recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.3-mako ) / SuperUs ( 1.80 ) . I followed the how to from a bunch of videos in youtube .
I was able to install Multiboot . on opening the app , some warnings were thrown that MultiRom, backup and kernel patch were not installed . I have checked the three checkboxes and proceded with install . It went for a reboot .After reboot ( it started to boot from the 'internal', which is the default stock android i believe ) nothing happens . The initial 'Google' logo comes , then the screen starts flickering and stays like that ( so far one hour ) .I tried to boot to recovery and did a factory reset .That did not help either.
Please let me know if there is something I could try, may be collect some logs . The device is not definitely bricked because I can see the boot menu .I suspect the kernel patch did something fishy . Any way where I can look to find the issue ?
Thanks .

[Q] Boot loop on O1

Hi everyone, it´s my first post here.
I have an Optimus One, and yesterday, i installed LOL ROM, but when i rebooted the phone to start it, it doesn´t work, and it´s in a boot loop. It shows the LG logo, and after, it shows the startup animation of the rom, but after that, the screen goes black and do the same always.
I´ve tried to flash with KDZ in emergency mode the stock rom, but it doesn´t work. What can i do?
Sorry for my bad english
Uhhh pretty vague post mate ....
First , did your phone ever correctly boot into LOL ROM ? Or did it simply go on a boot loop as soon as you flashed it ?
If it did boot once and then at the first restart , reboot , power off of your phone you might have had a pretty serious SD card stroke ( failuire ) and considering LOL rom has system files on the ext partition on the SD card it will not boot up . I suggest you take the battery out , remove the SD card , plug into a reader and check if the SD card is still alive .
2nd to successfully flash with kdz you have to disable from Device Manager > Modems > LGE Virtual Modem and remove all other drivers from other phones ( Nokia , samsung , w/e) . And the rest just follow the procedures as shown on this wonderfull forum .
Cheers and I hope my explanation was of some use .
Lol, i´ve done everything, but i forgot to do a wipe. I´ve done it and the phone are working perfectly now.
Zerobarat1, thanks for your answer ;D

[Q] Help plz!!!

help ! i've installed clockworkmod recovery v8 on my gtablet by following the instructions of copying it to the root of internal memory and then power up with volume up to start stock recovery then chose update.zip , after i did that the tabtlet showed the installation box then the tabtlet booted .. the thing is when i start the recovery mod now nothing loads and the screen stops at the 3 birds screen and doesnt go forward ( only when i start recovery mod , normal mod works normally and i can use my tablet) ,,
i've heard something about that view sonic is has used a new bootloader version 1.2 or something and it locks anything that get installed over the stock versions ,,,i've bought the tabtlet recently since 2 monthes ,, exactly i've purchased it from amazon on the mid of june,, so i thought maybe my tabtlet has this new loader

It sounds like you did not unlock the BL first. flash cwm6 and boot to it then flash the blunlock zip.
i am facing the same error , but worse.. i can't access fastboot and no custom recovery installed !! Is there any thing i can do but throwing my 1 days old phone in the garbage..

My Nokia X2ds is in a very big problem

Before few weeks I was flashing a rom using TWRP recovery in my nokia x2 . But, mistakelly I flashed an unwanted zip (dynamic status bar for Nokia x2). After that , my mobile is not getting POWER ONN . i.e. when I press and hold power button , NOKIA name comes on screen as usual . But mobile was not switched on . I waited for about half hour ,but no success.
Then, I tried to flash my previously used rom again, but when I try to do that TWRP shows 'no md5 file found' then it stucked and restarts TWRP . I tried it many time , but happens again and again.
My brain was not working , so I wiped everything i.e. Delvik Cache,Data,Internal Storage,Cache,System and SD Card too. But problems remain unchanged.
Now TWRP shows no OS installed.
Please help me. It is very important for me. I will be very thankfull and helpfull to you.
Note: Please try to understand my mistake full language

Need Help ! Stuck in a weird bootloop !

Hey guys ,
Well this is a rooting adventure that took a turn sideways since it's not really the root that has put my phone in a unusable state , but oem unlocking . My phone , an Infinix S5 has this message in the boot logo that says "oem unlocking is enabled and device cant be trusted , starting in 5 secs" , it's not too big of a problem , but due to this message , it somehow does not let a factory reset commence or let me enter fastboot mode with the key combinations . My rooting before actually went pretty nice and I was in a stable environment and then I started removing system apps (main reason to root my device) , turns out a few of them were a lil to critical and after a restart bricked by system img , so i re-flashed the system , boot and recovery partitions , well that led to it finally booting up but now , firstly asking for my previously set password and then showing a message saying that the data has been corrupted and needs to factory reset . And thanks to the oem unlocking message , it just wont start the factory reset ! Nor could I Access fastboot to manually reset the phone and thereafter disable oem unlocking . I'm honestly stuck so bad , cant think of what to do . Infinix being a lesser known chinese company with close to none support on such topics , the device seems essentially bricked (this is my primary smartphone !!) . Any help on this guys ??
All help is highly appreciated !
Thanks !
