There are a number of apps in the store that do this, but they are limited in configuration... I would like to see this in my status bar:
JUN 7
Is this possible in an xposed module?

Please post in the correct thread. You will have much better luck getting somebody to make the module for you, if you post it in the right place.
Thanks!

I am wondering if there is something similar to the Cydia Background Manager application for iOS that can be used on Android devices. I am looking for something that will allow me to force an app that goes to the background to stay in a foreground state like you can do with the Background Manager application.
This is the app I am referring to just in case...
cydia.saurik.com/package/kr.slak.backgroundmanager
Thank you.
I think you can use the "Resident" option in Per App Settings, which is an Xposed module.

Would you happen to have a link to like an approved or known good guide for rooting a motorola xoom? Also I have read somewhere that when you unlock the bootloader before rooting that will essentially erase your device and all your app info...is that true?

I have no experience with unlocking bootloaders. You'll be able to find guides in the [URL=" forum.xda-developers.com/motorola-xoom" ]Motorola Xoom[/URL] section, and you can also ask there (in the Q&A section) if you need guidance.
This is a Xposed Module.
Requirements :
Sony Xperia Device
Rooted Stock Rom
Xposed framework Installed & Active.
This module allows you to change the Xperia Theme System Colour On-The-Go*.
It won't allow you to change the default wallpaper or replace any other drawable as with new Xperia Themes for Android 4.3+
With this module you can set your desired colour as system accent.
Features :
Change System Accent Colour On The Go.
Change App Background On The Go. [New]
Change System Bar Background [System Bar includes Statusbar and Navigation Bar]. [New]
Using the module is very simple.
Download and Install.
Activate in Xposed App.
Open The Module either from Xposed app/Modules or Direct from App Drawer.
Activate the only Check Box you see.
Choose desired colours in all the rest of the Colour Picker options.
Exit the app by Back press.
* You need to restart your smart phone for the first time. Its a Xposed requirement for new modules to work. After that whenever you change the colours most of the parts will get the new settings immediately. Swipe out all the apps from recent app panel. But for the whole changes to take place you need to reboot every time you change colours.
I have tested it in Xperia M Dual 4.3

There's only one option to choose as Sony 4.1/4.2 Themes work differently.
