So, I tried this and works on a different Rom, but somehow incompatible with my current rom . Is there anyway to force install Themer? I love this app.

Hi, please make sure that your DPI/resolution/display settings have all been set to default. Themer works best when all your display settings (even the height of the notification/navigation bars need to be set to default).
Hope this helps:victory:

Honestly I never could get certain system apps to set correct dpi using touchwiz. If i remember correctly the phone dpi was the big issue for me. I didn't play around with it 2 much. It was one of the reasons I switched to aosp so i'm able to set the dpi to 240 and everything works correctly.
I'm pretty sure when you set it to tablet apk it doesn't really do anything unless there is a seperate apk for tablet settings. I remember this from a few files I extracted from Moon ROM.
Some apps can't run in lower DPIs and will fc. It also sounds like if you have the tablet option, you may have an outdated version of xposed app dpi settings. The newer one doesn't have a tab for tablet vs non tablet.

Maybe im not understanding. When you say tablet mode is that simply a dpi and res that makes setting look like on a tablet or are you running a module that does this and then you have to manually adjust the setting dpi to get it to work?
At one point when I was using the tablet mod (not the flashable one) my setting fc'd. Im not sure which might work for your case, but I might try setting the dpi you think is supposed to work then reboot. Maybe it needs a reboot after each change. (or again im not sure your situation- make a save copy of system settings app, reinstall it and make sure you change it to have the same permissions as all other sysyem apps. This would be if say you had a mod on for tablet mode and now settings was fc)
Is it possible to maximize the size of the pattern lock in the new cm 10,11 builds? So it will be the same as ics but keep the JB/KK layout..
Thanks in advance,
Cheers.
So far i know its not possible. But i can suggest you two possible solution.
You can try to change different Grid size. But i am not totally sure whether it will works or not.
or you can flash any stock lockscreen zip which is compatible with CM10+.
Press thanks button it helps.

It's a known usability bug -- please see: github.com/LegacyXperia/local_manifests/issues/164
The only way (I know) of changing this, is to change the DPI from 160 to 140. You can do so with build.prop Editor (1) or Xposed apps like "App Settings" (2). It'll change the rest/parts of the UI as well though.

hi there, i use the rom aeonflex on my LG G2 and can't use themer because of the screen resolution, G2 uses 1920*1080, but in the settings menu of themer says 1803*1080, DPI 480.
themer says it cannot work cause the menu bar reduces the screen dimension and cannot work.

You mean the galaxy S2 ? as the default screen resolution is actually 800 by 480,it may be the rom that is an issue and not themer

Hi, Themer is designed to work on a stock resolution. Make sure that all your display/resolution/DPI settings have been set to default.

using the xposed option to disable the navigation bar themer works fine.

That's odd though. Make sure you haven't adjusted the sizing of the bar in any way. Any small change in your display settings will throw off all of the Themer settings.
themer will not work for me in my rom either ... i havent touched the dpi or anything .. it is 480 I believe but the screeen resolution is coming up as 1803x1080 :S... I do not know how to fix it
Yeah same here for my Xperia Z Ultra. I'd really like to try Themer, but it doesn't support the ZU. I'm on stock Sony build, no tweaks to nav bar or DPI that I know of. When I check the screen dimensions under Themer Debug Info, it says it is 1824x1080 with a DPI of 320. Perhaps it is the DPI that is the problem? Either way, would sure love a fix so I can try Themer out.

Hi Danial,
If your phone is rooted, please check that any other display setting has been set to default. This includes any height settings of notification/nav bars or any resolution settings. If you visit gsmarena.com, your phone settings should match the stock display settings for the G2.

Hi luvboox,
The developers are working very hard to improve Themer's performance and other features, however adding more device support won't be easy due to lack of resources. Once Themer is more stable we'll look into more device support such as the Z Ultra
If still not working, please see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775244

Ditto. I believe my LCD Density Value is set to 245. But themer can't handle that so I am wondering what people are using?

Any intention to support multi DPI?
Alot of Custom ROMS allow easy changing of the DPI, Seems your limiting your potential market.
I Love Themer, I just cannot use it, as Landscape and Multi DPI do not work properly.

In the future we might look at multi DPI support, however at this moment the task is a lot harder than it sounds. Sorry about that.

I completely understand the complexity of the multi DPI.
But has anyone considered some pre defined DPI's
So at least the user can get a Near Enough DPI, and then tweaking the theme to fit perfectly is only minimal changes.
Again just a theory, I have never really worked on DPI.

There's a strange relationship with a device's DPI and resolution, which is why many device aren't supported (such as the G3). We've tried what you've suggested, however "near-enough" isn't what the average user wants

Hi, unfortunately the Mega isn't supported just yet due to its resolution. Hopefully it will be soon though!
I have a rooted Nexus 5 with SlimKat ROM running. SlimKat changes the DPI by default, but using BuildProp Editor I changed it to the stock 445 DPI. However, Themer says my resolution is wrong. If I set Themer as my default launcher, I can press the home button and see the default Themer appearance, I just can't download anything from the app. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I was running trents rom on the GN2 at 270 and it looked ok. I have gotten away from this application recently though.

Hi, try changing it to the default DPI settings (480), as this should help Themer recognize the themes.
Good luck!

Hi, I have Sony T2 ultra Dual. although its resolution doesn't support for themer. but after root, when I change its DPI value to 320, now its resolution is 1184*720. and themer is working perfect on it. May be it will help.
In this tutorial I will explain how to make compatible the gps tomtom in our smartphones
Only with root

and this application does is change the screen resolution so you can operate the tomtom.

The good thing about this application is that it creates a notification in the notifications panel for one-touch can change the resolution back to the curtain down and clicking on it.
Samsung keyboard fails so I use when the use of google.

I use resolution changer but i try SS
Edit: i used resolution changer. SS is batter. I use perapp profiles to set only tomtom! Thanks
