App request multiwindow but more similar to TouchWiz? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I already know there's an Xposed module for multiwindow but it lack a few features to get as polished as Samsung multiwindow. Mainly, the ability to maximize an app after this app has been put into dual view. I tried the multiwindow Xposed module an once an app has been put in dual view, you can't go back. The only way to go back to full view is too close and then reopen the app. Also, the Xposed module is still quite buggy...

[Q] A way to hide apps

Can someone please tell me a way of how to hide apps on a non-rooted Evo 3d and other phones? I have only seen apps that require root for this feature to be effective.
Thanks
You mean just from the app drawer? Or punch in a secret code in the dialer or something?

"Go launcher ex" allows you to hide apps from your app drawer, if that is what you are asking.
ADW does that too, open up the app drawer, hit menu and set up group.
App Locker II - Fake Crash is what I use. Instead of hiding the app it just mimics a stubborn app force closing all the time. Don't really have any apps that need securing more than that. That's the free version, the same developer makes more secure paid versions.
Audio manager. looks like an audio app but you can actually have the fake crash report show or also hid apps/pics/vids completely with root. That along with private sms box should secure your phone quite well from wandering eyes. Not that I know from experience or anything...

I like that a lot better than the one I've been using. For a free app, it has a ton of features. Thanks!
A way to hide apps
I am looking for something to use on a non-rooted phone. Something that can hide the app from the main menu listing.
Thanks
Another vote for GO Launcher Ex. I've tried the major launcher apps, and GO seems to work the best for me on my EVO 3D.

You don't need root to run Go Launcher, it does replace sense though. Just search the market for "Go Launcher" then open app drawer, press menu, then hide app. Long time user of Launcher Plus and am happy I made the switch.
Is there any way I can do this using Sense, without changing to another launcher?
Maybe you can try downloading Z4root and temporarily root your phone to use the other apps. Not sure if on reboot the apps will stay hidden or not though, but it might be worth a try because I think every other solution out there is going to require root.
There's an app by the same developer as App Lock II called Invisible Protector that looks like it may be what you're looking for. Doesn't say it needs root in the description, and has a free 3 day trial.
With 'Go Launcher' how do you unhide the app?

Hi, just got M8. Despite rumours of scrolling wallpaper, it doesn't have it.
More annoying is that no third party launchers (Nova ADW etc) will scroll on this handset.
The on screen buttons take up a lot of room, any way to slim them down in size?
Don't want to send it back, but I'm thinking about it.
Umm does for me..did you set it up correctly ?

install xposed framework & gravity box for kit kat in the exposed installer app.
activate pie controls and set them up via gravity box. make sure to activate extended display and select mode to hide nav bar
*you need to be unlocked and rooted to do this*
this will get rid of the nav bar completely

Is there a way to hide status bar always on Android ?

One super cool feature on the Samsung Internet Browser, was a release back in Springtime, that allowed the status bar to hidden. It looked so modern and nicer on new phones like a Galaxy S8 or V30, with minimal bezels etc...
But since then all the newer Samsung Interest .apks don't have that option anymore. I went back to that older .apk build, but it's a bit buggy in other areas, and the newest release is much smoother and overall better. But I miss that hide status bar option, don't understand why they got rid of that option ? It give you a little bit more space to view the web page at the top. And I also then have the Nav keys hidden while in the browser, so the browser takes up the entire screen, making the phone look very iPhone X'ish.
I run Nova launcher on my V30, and it has the option to hide status bar on the home screen, which I have set, but not while in an app itself, or in the browser. I wish there was a way to do that ? Any opinion ?
There is an app I use with success with my V30 on the playstore. It's called GMD Immersive.

I was using another app which I had to get rid of due to excessive battery drain. Does this drain or any other significant issues for you?

Replace Multiwindow System

Multiwindow is a common feature on nowdays's ROMS. However, it looks like MIUI multiwindow is slightly different from the others ROM's multiwindow.
Is it possible to change the multiwindow app/system(without replacing the entire ROM)? I'm using a S8 with stock ROM, and I saw that there's an app called "MultiWindow 1.1". However,
unistalling this app and replacing it by the MIUI's one(I suppose it exists, I really don't know...) does not seem safe to me.
Why I want to switch to MIUI's multiwindow? It looks like it can handle both apps running at the same time without pausing. Both apps seem to be at onResume() cycle, while others multiwindows
makes one app stay at onResume() (the one it's focused at the moment) and the other stay at onPause(), thus making the second one freeze.
