Haven't heard my ringtone as yet, but playing music is noticeably louder and MUCH better quality than the TB.

Is there any sound boosting tweaks?

I recently came from the OG Evo, and have noticed that both in the earpiece while in a call and when my phone is ringing the sound level is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than what I was used to before. I'm missing calls and can't really hear people during calls. Is there any tweaks or apps to Max the level out. Thanks in advance

volume+ app on the market, or use QPST.

Voodoo Sound

Does Anyone know is Super Curio will be doing any development on the Note?
He did some work on the international version of the Note to make it louder and is working on a screen improvement.
Hopefully the snapdragon processor the ATnT version uses will be compatible with his work.
Anyone know if the speaker on the galaxy note will be better than my SGS4G?
It sounded pretty weak when i tested it out

Do the Skyrocket people know if any of supercurio's stuff works on a Skyrocket? I'd imagine if he has it working for Skyrockets, it'd be an easy port to AT&T Note.
Pretty sure the sgs2 line doesnt have the sound processing chip like sgs1, so I believe that won't happen.

I wouldn't mind Voodoo Sound on the Note but the sound is already much louder than it was on the Captivate. I used to listen to the volume (without Voodoo) at around 75% and now 50% on the Note is just as loud. I certainly do not need it any louder than it already is.

I was surprised at how it sounds. They way sound output was being portrayed with this combo I was ready for a **** storm but its pretty decent.

I remember in one of the black crush threads for the international note Supercurio was asked if he cold port his fix to the att note. He then said that he doesn't have the att now so there isn't much he can do. So someone get that genius att note.

Voodoo Sound is excellent if you use good headphones, but it needs the Yamaha DAC, which only the SGS1 and infuse had.
I'm using Equalizer on the Note, and while it's not Voodoo Sound, it does help a bit.

I have voodoo installed with a 6db boost running on my SGS2.. Works great. And right now I'm pretty sure it only works with the Intl note but a beats cwm was just posted in the development forum thats supposed to help.

Headphone Volume?

Anyone know how I can raise the headphone volume on a rooted Ultra? Used to use voodoo on the note 2 but it's only made for the Samsung. Thank You!

No root required, just enable xloud on sound enhancement.

For both internal speakers and headphone too. When you activate xloud plug your headphone then increase the sound you'll get a warning telling that if you increase further it might damage your ears. That's where xloud is.

I get no sound boost..maybe it works better in 510. Hopefully a future rom will address this. Note 2 rom it was the best feature for me...it's not just the Ultra all smartphones are kept low...something about eardrums....lol!! Again this is for headphones only....I would never think about playing music from speaker...

Bottom Speakers

New to the LG G2 and was just wondering if sound was supposed to come out of both of the bottom slotted holes. I only ask because I only get sound out of the holes to the right of the charge port
same. i've tested it with many uses and beginning to wonder if its just a decoration.
lol.
the right=speaker. left=microphone.

This is a microphone grate if I'm not mistaken. I'm fairly certain only one of them is a speaker. There are threads all over this forum with this being stated.

yup.. just like the iphones lol
now, if you had the bastardized verizon version like i do, youd see how this is so. there's only one speaker looking grate on their version.. and its not a grate, it's 3 holes.. then the other side is 1 tiny mic hole. wish ours looked like yours though bc the asymmetric look is awful

Spoke to LG rep. One is microphone one is speaker.

we all make that mistake. i thought it was a speaker aswell but its just a decoration. lg made it so it looked better in design.
Yes this was my first disappointment of the phone as well. I thought it were stereo speakers so the phone will play music with good loudness from the speakers. Then I played music and it came from 1 grill. I googled it and saw it had 1 speaker instead of 2. (Cheaters)

stereo speakers right next to eachother on the same exact side make literally no sense whatsoever. lol it would've been a waste of resources.

Yes that's true but it would improve the loudness of the speakers. I would use them for music outside but now I'm using a Bluetooth speaker.

There pretty loud already but the volume hack makes them super loud
