Since I updated my SIII to Android 4.3, my Bluetooth headphones do not respond to the command forward, rewind and pause the music by specific button of the handset. I've tried with several roms, both operators, stock and custom. I know it's not a problem the phone, since returning the phone to Android 4.2.1, works perfectly. Is not a problem of the headphones because I have 2 first line, Plantronics sport and a Motorola S11-flex in both the problem occurs. Anyone facing the same problem or know how to solve?
Posted in particular specific area of the SIII but if the problem is common to other phones with Android 4.3 I ask some moderator move the topic to the general area.

Hello, I have a problem with the bluetooth of the Samsung galaxy S2. It's connects correctly to all devices, and for example, when it's connected to the bluetooth of my car, and I play music, the music stops and plays intermittently with all the music programs that I have tried. It's strange because when I am using the bluetooth for hands-free talking it's works perfectly. I dont Know if maybe exists and update of the firmware of the bluetooth.
I have this specifiactions:
Android Version: 2.3.3
I9100XXKDJ
GINGERVREAD.XWKE2
Thank you!!!
I had this problem also but it hasn't done it for a long time, don't know what else to tell you?
Goodluck

Hello NIK516,
Thanks for answering. Did you do something? I understand that know you don't have the problem.
Hi,
I'm experiencing the same "feature". Let the phone play its hiccup game for a couple of times and it will play just fine after a minute or so. I only figured this out while testing the GPS capability and wanted to get voice instructions over BT as well. First I had the play...pause...play....pause - loop, but after a minute or so all was fine.
Update: I just went down to my car to confirm "the minute". Guess what it was playing perfectly fine and my radio was even showing mp3 tags which it didn't before with my HTC Desire.
So, what did I change in between:
- stopped WiFi sharing using the task manager
- bonded my Asus G53JW to the phone in order to try Kies via BT

I have been listening to music with SE MW 600 Bluetooth headphone for weeks and I have yet to experience such a problem. Try a different ROM.

I flashed 2.3.4 XXKG1 and I lost all settings, all apps etc.
I was lucky enough that I had made a CWM backup before BUT I wonder why I can't do this without losing my apps, data etc.
It's very weird because Kies is doing this to the latest firmware (which means that is 100% feasible) but it seems to me that it can't happen with earlier versions.
Any clues or directions are more than welcome.
No news on my post, bad news to my query...
AND still suffering from these unexplicable A2DP Bluetooth disconnects...
So I have option 1 to install 2.3.4 XXKG1 but lose all settings and almost 150 apps and spend I week to bring them back
and option 2 to swear 10 times a day that Bluetooth disconnects
Thank you Sammy, well done!
Hello folks. I'm experiencing this annoying issue. I used to listen local stored music through Bluetooth while surfing with no issues. But I bought a Spotify Premium account and my problems began. I tried Rdio and Deezer and both suffer from the same thing. The wifi connection just hangs, I mean, it doesn't drop but stops receiving packages, the sites stop loading and the music also stops. It takes some time to start playing again. I'm on a 35mbps down 3.5 mbps up connection with maximum signal. I've tried stock kernel, boeffla, syiah, speedmod, and the issue won't go away. When I turn the Bluetooth off, it works flawlessly. I am on the latest build. Any idea how to solve this annoying bug? Best regards.

You already posted this identical question .
Use the report button and ask a mod to close one of them .

Hello there,
I'd like to introduce myself ! I am the typical forum's reader because I am from Spain and I usually post on spanish forums because the language but now, I have a problem that seems not to be as common as I thought:
I have a SGS2 with Vanilla Rootbox CROM running and JellyBam as 2nd rom.
I have just bought a bluetooth headset that supports AD2P and I can listen music through its "speakers" (is a system for a bike helmet) but I have tried with normal and skype calls and I cannot hear anything neither my voice is "heard" in the other side of the line.
I have tried changing the kernel: Siyah, Dorimanx and Stock kernel.
I have tried both roms (vanilla and jellybam)
I have tried it in my sister's galaxy s 2 with official rom and it works without problems so, I think that it could be an AOSP issue.
I don't know what could I try, I have been searching a similar topic but I just found old threads and just similar, not exactly the same.
So, please, could you help me with this??
Thanks in advance!!
Someone please

After pairing the 'Bluetooth' to ur device, go to settings>bluetooth and check the settings of the paired bluetooth and see if any thing is unchecked there for 'Phone' if so enable and then try

Alright, well, I've had a lot of trouble in this area as well, and I have found a few ways to get the Bluetooth headset working with Skype. I'll tell you now, that it's probably got more to do with Skype than whatever ROM/kernel you're running. I tried this on my stock 4.2.2 Nexus 4, and on CM10.1 stable, running Franco's Kernel r151. The headset I'm using is the LG HBS730, which has served me well in all tasks on my phone other than Skype, of course. This is a long-standing problem I've had with Skype; the conspiracy theorist inside of me wants to believe it's because Microsoft wants to push their Windows phones by purposefully making their Android client suck, but the realist in me hopes that's not true (what with the wide range of Android hardware that the Skype Client would have to support). And besides, Skype's as broken on Windows phones as it is on Android, minus the glaring battery issues.
Okay, to get the headset working, I've done the following.
1. Before I start skype, I turn my bluetooth headset off. I wait until it disconnects.
2. I turn my phone's Bluetooth off and on again. Do not reconnnect the headset yet.
3. Sign into Skype (I'm using the version that was updated on July 10, 2013, since I can't seem to get a real number on the version of this miserable app).
4. Join the call that your friend(s) are in. You will start to hear them over your phone's loudspeaker.
5. Turn your Bluetooth headset on, wait for it to connect. When it connects, Skype should automatically recognize it, and start using both the mic and the earphones on the headset, and you should be able to talk normally.
Here are some things that will annoy you, though:
When you get a regular phone call, the Skype call will be put on hold. When you end the phone call and try to rejoin the Skype call, Skype will still see the headset as connected, but will continue to use the phone's speaker and microphone.
This is going to happen a lot, and here's how to fix that:
1. Leave the call, and sign out.
2. Close the app from the little task manager thingy (If it's a Galaxy SII, just hold the home button and swipe it away).
3. Disconnect the Bluetooth headset. You can turn your bluetooth on your phone on and off again real quick if you think that helps--I have yet to determine if it does.
4. Sign back into Skype, and join the call.
5. Turn your headset back on again, and Skype should connect to the headset.
For some bizarre reason, I have not been able to connect my headset to my phone, and sign into Skype with the expectation that anything will work, at all. I wish it weren't so complicated, but it is.
Oh, and FYI, don't bother with Skype premium. Group video doesn't work on Android phones OR Windows phones (even from Windows desktop to Windows phone, my friend and I tested; way to sell broken services, Microsoft!), so if you're on-the-go a lot, it's a total waste of money. Also, if you're bike riding, you're probably just going to piss off your friends in the Skype call with all the ambient noise. The mute feature on my headset is not recognized by Skype, so I have to dig my phone out of my pocket to mute it from the screen.
I hope this helps, but more than that, I hope that one day, Microsoft will restore my faith in Skype. But considering it took them this long to revise their app to the point where Bluetooth even pretends to work, I'm not crossing my fingers.
Hi all. I've my GS3 paired to Renault Megane TomTom Carminat Bluetooth set. I known problem with this system is that to avoid disconnections you must deny permissions to read contacts and call log during first pairing procedure. So an half working bluetooth connections..but it works. Another issue is that during mp3 playing from the GS3 to Car System, songs title are not properly send. Infact on the display of the Carminat only appears the title of first song...and no others during all playing. Tried with all possible music player with no effect.
In this days i'm trying latest leak 4.2.2 and with positive surprise i noticed that all the issues with bluetooth are gone. Now i can pair Phone to Carminat giving all access permissions with no disconnections. And at last, while listen mp3, all titles are sended to carminat display...finally.
So, what they changed to let bluetooth work with no problem? I'd like to port those changes on a 4.1.2..

I'm sorry to anwer only now, but I bought my Note 2 only a few weeks ago...
I've the same problem with the songs titles, and I use PlayerPro. Before the Note 2 I had a Galaxy S with CyanogenMod, and with the Apollo player all the songs titles were dispayed correctly... so I think it depends on the player more than on the rom... I'm on the stock rom, and for example using the stock player I can display all the songs correctly (but I hate the stock player .
Have you solve the problem / do you know a non-stock player that solves the problem?
Thanks a lot
Hi all,
I've recently bought an X Dual and it came with 7.1.1 off the shelf. My car displays the current song details whenever a Bluetooth device is connected except for my new X. It plays well and all and controls work but the music information does not show at all.
Anyone else facing this problem or has a solution?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
I'm not have the phone, but almost the same... I have the F5121, and I don't have such problems with pairing with my car, using Deezer it shows the music information with the car

Thanks but it didn't work for me
Bump
Same problem, using PlayerPro to play my flac files connected to a Kenwood KMM-303BT carradio.
Worked before but sins the update to 7.1.1 no more.
I reset all Bluetooth apps and settings but no luck.
Deinstalled PlayerPro and deleted the data folder in andoid/data/
After that I did a fresh install and switch on the option on "music updates" found under "Music Library > Notifications"
This worked for me hope might help you too.

Hi guys,
Tried many things and none of them work. I read somewhere that this is a common problem with the X, is that true?
