I came across this article :

Not sure either smartphones or tablet will be affected by that news. Will it affect Galaxy Tab 10.1 in long run?
Never mind guys I found another thread regarding my question. I did not saw that thread before.

It will take a while for html 5 to be ubiquitous so likely youll be good for a couple of years.

Ok maybe the flash content we saw online will not be available on our device. I think depends on website how fast they implement HTML5 on their site
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

No I don't think so
Hi,
I recently bought the new Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE SGH 1757M (Bell Canada) and is wondering if using the 1777 ROM (this forum) would be acceptable. I was unable to find a section dedicated to my phone.
Thank you
I would guess if you want to turn your phone into a paperweight, go ahead. But if you need a phone, I wouldn't try it.

i have already successfully rooted in the past (had the galaxy s). But i am also aware, that a slight change could cause error (this is why i am asking). Isn't there any section on this forum dedicated to the new Galaxy S2 LTE?
Your phone model is SGH-I757M. You could have searched, but you can go here as a starting place. Maybe you can find more info around there. BTW, this was the first result from a google search using the terms "sgh-i757m xda"
To make your life easier when searching, it's i757m, not 1757m. Same in here, it's i777, not 1777.
Thanks everyone for your input. case solved.
OP - please take a few minutes in the future, and do some searching. No need for this thread at all.
HI
what is the difference between the s3 and s3 ultra fast?
Is it just a matter of software or other equipment/hardware?
Thanks
Apparently this "Superfast" edition is Three UK's phone. Bad thing about is that it doesn't even ship with Jellybean. What a fail.

A quick search shows he might be talking about this:
http://www.coolsmartphone.com/2013/02/08/three-release-galaxy-s3-ultrafast/
So, it's the S3 with either an 'ultrafast' plan or just some mobile data tweak, didn't really bother to read.

So, s3 ultra fast(LTE) hardware is different than s3?
To clarify whether this is a new phone and a "normal" S3 will not have fast broadband?

The I3905 that is on EE right now has 2gb of ram compared to the 1gb on the standard GS3 plus it has an LTE modem so different hardware yes.
Whether Three's version of the GS3 is LTE and therefore different remains to be seen.

The origanal S3, or GT-I9300 will not work with LTE, it has never done it will never, it doesn't have the hardware.
This sounds like the GT-I9305, or the S3 LTE, there are 2 differances, it will support LTE or DC-HSDPA (super fast mobile broadband) and it has 2GB RAM rather than 1GB.

This phone is basically 3.5G not LTE

My contact at Three seems to think this is a new phone.. NOT i9300 and not i9305. I'd guess doesnt have LTE (otherwise Three would say so since they are launching LTE on the frequencies they got from EE) and it does have DC-HSDPA+ so perhaps a new model number?

I posted this yesterday AND it's already got a workaround.
And Samsung are fixing it also apparently -- HERE

Hi,
I apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place and even if it's not a valid question for this site.
I need to have access to the Blackberry 10 OS to test some apps but only have the Galaxy S5 and an S3.
The S3 is rooted and so I was wondering how I would go about installing Blackberry on a Samsung Galaxy S3?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Furorian

There's no way to do that. But i think as long as your apps support android 2.3 and above. It will be good on them.
