On the Verizon One Max it looks like the hidden powersave feature is automatically on, but just in case you wanted the option back in your settings:
1) Download SQLite editor
2) Navigate to /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/
3) Open settings.db and select Secure
4) Scroll down to hide_ui__user_powersaver and hide_ui_powersaver_connectivity (lines 91&92 for me, may vary)
5) Change the values in each of these options from 1 to 0.
6) Reboot and enjoy
Confirmed working on the VZW 4.4.2
You are awesome. Thanks again!

Same reason they removed the fm radio and flashlight. Cause they can.
Now I see, it's so the notification dosent pop up that it's on. That'd be my guess.

It looks like it's on by default on VZW phones...
Wish we could figure out the Radio though.
I read somewhere on here that the connectors for the fm antenna were removed .
As for the OP, I changed it back to normal, no reason to have the powersave icon on the notification bar all the time.

You can also open the system/customize/CID/default.xml and find these two lines...

1

1

and either change to...

0

0

or just flat out delete the lines. This method however will only make the changes after a data wipe (or if baked directly into a ROM).

It will go away if you turn off NFC yes... It have to say ATT because AT&T id the only carrier that have this NFC icon working. Samsung instead of making each model unique he made them all the same with the icons etc. But with xmls to turn it on.

Thats because this mod is only to trigger on the phone to show off that NFC icon. If you want AT&T 4G icons you need to change your build.proo onto making the phone think you have a AT&T model. All the S4 variants have the same software but they are trigger to show different with each carrier. Icons, mods, etc are already in the build. One thing im working on is porting my 19 color ink effect from my S3 to it. Since our phone have all the pngs all I need is putting the smali code to trigger it on

Sorry for the inconvenience but I am not longer supporting this ROM. You should be able to flash the international ROM over this without issues as long as you wipe system, cache and dalvik cache.

Actually i disagree on this one. I will bet the power saver doesnt describe what it does, which in most manufacturers case is just cripple the phone. Lowering the cpu speed and dimming the screen is not always the best way to save battery. And most people that dont know what it actually does. Then when their phone slows or screen dims it is returned as defective.
