Go to the contact & hit the menu button. Option will read, "Mark As Default." This will allow you to choose the default number for your contact.

Try it and lemme know if you guys have some the same issue..
Click on "Phone" to access keypad.
Hit the back key.
Click on "Contacts".
Click on "logs" to change the tab.
Hit back again.
Now click on "Phone".
Do you notice that the keypad goes missing?
To get your keypad back, go to task manager and clear memory.
Cheers!

Any one else notice that Sense 3.0 no longer has the option of opening one email than scrolling through all the rest of the email in that account? Now I have to go back to my list of unread email and open them one by one.
Any ideas?

Is there a way to remove a vibration pattern I created.
Thank you
Eric
Googled only saw ways to create
Hold down on the vibration. It'll ask what you want to do.
Thank you Biz. The only option it is giving me is Rename.
I hope this isn't one of those kinks that I have to factory reset
I like stuff clean and this would drive me nuts. LOL
Thanks. I hope u can help more
Eric

Glad you got it. Glad you posted that as I didn't know you could set a vibration pattern for contacts.
Thanks.
Is there a way to sort favorites? I don't even know how they are sorted.

What firmware are you on? Mine definitely lets me organise them up and down. I'd do a screen recording but I have pictures and names set in my favourites that I'd prefer the whole internet not to see

I was about to say "yes, it definitely works" - but alas, it only appears to work - after clicking the tick on the top-right corner (presumably to save), they revert back to their previous order.
FWIW, I'm using a Mate 10 ALP-L29 with 8.0.0.128(C636) firmware.

Same here. Once you tick the sorting is gone.
I just discovered this, after I had absolutely same issue with the same phone:
In Chrome open contacts.google.com, where you can edit and organize all your contacts.
In the left menu click on your starred/favourites,
Deselect all contacts that have, until now, been selected as favourites, but don't click on anything else after this.
In your phone, go to Settings > Users & Accounts > Google > [your Google account] and hit "Sync". After a short while, your phone's favourites should be empty.
Back to Chrome, mark a contact as a favourite (add the star to its name), then hit "Sync" in your phone"s settings, then check in your phone contacts. That contact should now be the first on your favourites' list. Then go and repeat that with the second and third contact and so on. After each sync, the favourite contact should appear in your phone's favourites in the order you have selected them as favourites.
Moreover, now you can rearrange them in your phone without the arrangement being reset every time you hit the check icon!
