Unobtrusive incoming calls - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

I just discovered the feature where if you are using the phone and someone calls you just select the speakerphone option and it will put their picture in a little box that allows you to talk and continue doing what you were doing at the same time. I'm going to have to go through all the settings and see what else I'm missing.

I don't get a little box but On my note 3 when someone calls and i'm using my phone I get 3 boxes on the bottom of the screen: answer, speaker, ignore (or was it do not answer). Answering will take me to the phone app, speaker will just put it in speaker mode and doesn't change screen. Doesn't seem like something new but maybe they changed it up a little. Do you have an image of how the little box with their picture looks like?

I noticed this on the s5 too.
I really like that when you get an incoming call if you are using the phone it doesn't go straight to the phone app that takes up the while screen. I've accidentally answered calls i didn't want to and rejected ones i did before cause it got in the way of what I was doing.

[Q] Disconnect tone?

Every time i've had a dropped call on the Vibrant, I never knew it. On my G1, I would get a 'dropped call' sound. I'm guessing the Vibrant has no such feature? If not, is there a way to add it? I really hate looking like a fool talking into a dead phone for a minute or 2 thinking I'm still connected.

The setting is located under Settings > Call Settings > All Calls > Call Status Tones
Set call connect tone and call end tone

[Q] SGP321 (LTE) Incoming GSM calls...

Hi All
From what I understand, the Xperia Tablet Z 4G isn't meant to be able to make and/or receive GSM calls. I came from a Samsung P6800 that was able to make and receive GSM calls so I have a SIM that is attached to a voice and data plan. I'm now using that same SIM in the XZT.
Earlier this afternoon, I turned on my tablet and saw what looked like a missed call screen that flashed by and disappeared. There was no notification of a missed call. I remember the screen had light colours - like light green and blue and yellow (if my memory serves me right).
Tonight I actually received a GSM call. I didnt get to answer it in time (well, let's say that when I got to the tablet, I stood there looking at it and wondering what was going on and the call stopped!).The screen that came up is what I described above. It had an icon of a phone with a circle around it in the middle of the screen. I'm guessing that to answer the call, I would've had to have put my finger on the icon and drag it out to a side.
I tried calling my tablet again with my normal phone to replicate it and maybe try get a screenshot, but I can't seem to get through on the number.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there software on the phone that can make and receive phone calls?
Edit: I should add that I'm on 4.2.2... and Build number is 10.3.1.A.0.244.
I had hoped I could use it as a huge phone, but nope.
I was told the hardware wasn't there.
But if you truly have had an incoming call, then there might be hope.
Right now I'm using Skype and the tablet redirect calls to my Skype-number.
There is..
I use viber a lot and everytime i recieve a call there is a phone with a circle and a wave on it and i just drag the phone to the right to answer it.

Yeh, I thought that it could be Skype or Viber or one of them chat apps, but I wasn't signed into any of those at the time. I'd only had the tab for a couple of days and was still in the process of installing apps.
It hasn't happened since then.. but i'll keep a lookout for it and see if it happens again.
How about Google Voice? If you have it set up on your account you might be getting a call to that number. Try calling it.

[Q] Remove call forwarding symbol?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of the call forwarding symbol in the upper left hand corner of the watch face on a standalone device. I have tried to go under the call menu and turn it off but it won't let me uncheck on. I'm trying my best to not do a reset since I won't be able to activate apps again. Thanks in advance!
I don't think it is possible. The symbol is used to remind you that call forwarding is active. The consequences for leaving call forwarding on and forgetting to turn it off could cost you a lot of money and you might miss important calls you were expecting on your phone.
Personally it's a good feature - though granted it could be a bit smaller.

How to make phone appear to others to be switched off?

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is an app or method that can enable me to make my phone as appear to others that ring me as being switched off? There is nothing more frustrating when I am trying to study than the times when I hear my phone ringing and I am forced to stop what I am doing to answer my friends phonecalls. Even if I ignore the calls, I feel obligated to call back and there is always the possibility that the person will call again which really puts me off my work. Having said that, I need to have my phone switched on to receive calls in order to organize car journeys so turning it off is not an option. Is there anything I can do?
You can use the built in 'Do not disturb' in Android. No other app needed.

Thanks for the reply! Would this make my phone calls go to voicemail instantly?
Airplane mode is perfect.

Hands free dialing suddenly selective about which number using google assistant.

I set up this phone so I can just say "OK Google, call bill" and it would call open a window, show a little green check mark, as if to say "OK" back to me, and then dial Bill, totally hands free, and could even add "On speakerphone" at the end and I'd be calling Bill on speakerphone.
But now, as of about 7 days ago, now google will not call about half the numbers in my contacts list, and I can't figure out why. Like calling my godmother, works fine, but calling the local BBQ joint just stopped, and it freezes at the same window with the "OK" green check mark, but now I have to actually physically touch the button that says "Make call" to finish the action.
This ruins the whole reason I got and programmed this phone.
Anyone have any idea on how I can get google to call the rest of my numbers without having to touch the screen while I am driving? Or what this is about?
I've compared contacts that it will complete calls with, and ones it will not, and I cannot detect a difference.
Thanks!

This issue started a few days ago. Has to be an issue with Google. Happens on LG stock dialer and Google dialer.
