Is that by OTA or Through the LG support tool?
I thought it already came out for Three UK I'm sure I've seen reports previously.

He's talking about an ota update from LG
Well who needs that? We have android and the freedom and possibility to have always the newest software on our phones without counting the manufacture in. And it would be a att bloated and locked down software anyway m who wants that. No WiFi tethering and stuff. Rather have the freedom of a non locked down software without a carrier branding.

People like different things. Do you need to get your hair cut the way you do ? No, you do because that's how you prefer it. Plus of course someone would make a optimized version of it if it was released
Yeah I don't mind stock at all but not the let's say att stock because they always block stuff. The let's say lg stock non carrier branded version is fine. Like they have on the international versions. But I mean we don't even have to wait for lg to bring out a KitKat version. We have enough choices we can choose from. That's the beauty of android. We can flash ROMs.

It's weird because if you go to Sony.com in the USA. The phone shows up on the right hand corner of the screen, but when you click it on the link. It redirects you to the Global website.
Does smartphones usually get released late in the US? Seems weird when it should be a much bigger market then many countries in Europe.
Only Sony smartphones

Just security patches. Disappointing.
Was anyone able to postpone the install? I chose to ignore the update, and woke up to it confirming to be installed. **** you lg, seriously.

The only way to stop it without root is to not use WiFi which really sucks if you need a lot of data

I updated my device and now my wifi is dog slow and i have 300mb download speed through cox. It was perfectly fine until i updated now it take 10-30 seconds to load a page but if i go to lte its fast. Any help would be awesome.
What ive tried resetting my router, reset wifi and network settings on the g5.
I'm not having any Wi-Fi issues or any other issues so far. I for one am glad at&t is rolling out security patches at least.
I see it added wifi calling

This does not show much... Try installing it and make a screenshot of software info in about phone section.

It looks like it still based on Nougat 7.0

What do you think it is? 20s is Oreo. Pie has been out for months now. The update is probably Pie 30d, which was released back in October 2019.
No, if you have TWRP do NOT flash any OTA. In fact you need to freeze all OTA updates.

I would ask fellow T-mobile H932 users who have rooted their phones, like you.
Ask in the thread where you rooted your phone:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/how-to/root-h932-lafploit-1-5-to-v20a-t3842550
If fact, if you go to that thread and search for "freeze" you find this:

Use Titanium Backup and search for FOTA. That should be the OTA check. Freeze it.

You will also find some other files you should freeze. See this page:
