Hi,
sorry about this thread in this corner and not in the native forum, cause I haven`t already devel-state to make a direct post.
Back to my probs ...
- the display-manager restarts sometimes, when using the keyboard
- sometimes, I`m not able to switch wlan on. So I have to reboot my device
- the sdcard-thread hangs suddenly and drains my battery.
What I have done to fix these issues:
- clear dalvik cache
- clear cache-partition
- reinstallation of the actual image (18/04).
1.st install of cm11 was installed over cm10.2 made by TeamCanjica.
no probs with cm10.2 before.
Has anyone same probs with this build and/or some ideas to solve em?

it is a big problem when i downloading some apps from market (my line is slow about 40kb/s only) therefore i needed to wait it but it is auto close.....
hope u understand what i m saying, because my english is bad and i m from malaysia
If you have the problem only when you have installed the cyano rom, try to do a wipe data and a wipe cache and re-flash the phone with the cyano, remember to install also the latest hotfix for the version that you have.
I have the same problem with official I5503TTLPJP9 ROM (Telstra).
Need to switch WIFI off and on again every time I need Internet access. So annoying!
i have the same problem it is so annoyig
Same here
I'm getting the same WIFI problem here, except that if I'm downloading something, it won´t turn off. But if I lock the screen and leave it alone, WIFI won´t come back on until I turn it off and on again.
I'm using CyanogenMod 7.2.0-RC0 v1.9.
Any hints?
I have the problem that it just shuts down without any reason
as far as i know.
if you go on lockscreen for a while it shuts down too.
but try downloading "blade wifi fix" from the android market.
it might help. because it auto refreshes your wifi
when it shuts down with some reasons in particular.
first thing to try when you encountered those kind of issues is Wipe wipe wipe wipe..
only when you already did it you could try to ask forums for help..
The new WPA-Supplicant download could solve this?
Hi

sorry if I'm nagging..it's just driving me crazy
no matter what I do, I can't get jellybean to work correctly on my prime
my prime is new, got it for my B-day 2 weeks ago
things I did so far:
1- unlocked with asus utility
2- got rooted (DebugfsRoot_Generic_v2.3)
3- flashed CWM v5.8.2.0
4- did nvflash successfully
5- changed CWM to TWRP v2.2.2.0
6- tried to flash cm10 over eos3 (only wiped cache and dalvik)
Nothing worked so far
on EOS3 I get wifi with no problem but I can't use the camera. every camera app I install is FC on me because it can't access the camera
on CM10 / Baked / Jellybro, the wifi button stays gray and there is a message on the screen "turning wifi on" and it stays like this
no problems with Android 4.0.3 Roms though
so you guys have any tips for me maybe? do you think replacing the kernel is a good idea?

did you check the keyboard shortcut ?
Hi guys, recently my S3 started to play up on me. The screen started to flicker and would only stop when I touched (and held) the screen. From then, things have gone from bad to worse and the phone now features a completely black screen after it is powered on. Therefore I cannot see the startup animation or anything else (including the home screen etc) but can hear the notifications and vibrations.
I can fortunately use CWM as this is not effected at all and the screen works perfectly fine. I have flashed 3 different roms and wiped my whole device since the problem started hoping it was a software problem.
I have additionaly tried:
- Clear the Dalvick Cache
- Clear cache
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe all SD card data (don't ask)
Hopefully someone can help I would really appreciated it. (Not enjoying using the old Symbian phone atm) :crying:
Thanks
Make sure you are flashing roms meant for your version of the device.Try changing kernel or flash the latest stock firmware available after a factory reset. This should replace every file on your phone. Any problem would be fixed by this. Secondly what CWM do you use? Is it touch? If so does the touch work? Not likely a panel issue if the display is working in CWM, Can be a digitizer issue causing the screen to act up.
Hi
I have the Samsung Galaxy S I9100 and a few problems. Please proceed and read carefully.
Summery of my problems:
(1) The famous clipboard bug: when copy text for about 16 times, the phone restarts. Samsung won't update the SII so the problem will not be recovered.
(2) Home button doesn't work: I read somewhere that this can be recoverd trough deleting a special map with root acess. Is that true?
(3) Front cam don't work correct: this is a software problem because when the battery is unloaded (phone go off) and charged for about 20% the front cam works again. Is this a bug?
All the problems don't solve, even after: clean cache per app, clean cache in recovery mode (via the reboot recovery app because home button doesn't work), multiple full factory reset. I have these problems for about 4 months now, and I'm getting CRAZY!
Now comes the part with flasing, for example CM. My 5 questions:
- The one-click installer is compatible with my phone (thank God!). Is it safe without a working home button? Are there other things I need to take care off?
- Will flashing CyanogenMod solve the above 3 problems?
- My phone is rooted, will this cause problems during installation?
- I want the stable version. I there a danger that functions like the alarm won't work? I read somewhere that CM is not reponsible for eventually a loose of job because the alarm won't work...
- Will my network provider keep on working after flashing? Can I keep on talking and using 3G?
3 more questions about CM vs other mods:
- I have now official 4.1.2> if I don't like CM , is there also a one-click backup and reload installer available?
- Will flashing to a new official stock android version solve the above three problems?
- What other things I could try to solve the problems, before trying to flash?
I hope someone can provide me with answers and can help me to get a better phone!
(Please explain in child language because first I'm Dutch and my English is not THAT good and second I am a noob in flashing, roms, CM.......rooting succeed because of another one-click installer. I love them!)
Hey guys, so I was using the above said nightly and it worked well, but due to certain force closing of applications I decided to reflash the same rom on the tarp 2.8.7.0 recovery by ashwin007 ,but the strange thing that happened was ,after I clean flashed the Rom and the GAPPS (Pico gapps from open gapps) the device soft rebooted on the language selection welcome screen and after the setup progressed I was unable to select to turn the Wi-Fi on ,though my mobile data option worked ,I finished the setup and thought of manually turning the Wi-Fi on but it would not turn on neither from the quick access panel and neither from the settings menu ,I checked Bluetooth too and it was the same case with it ,and soon after I enabled Bluetooth ,the device is hard rebooting on loop...this is a new issue for me ,I don't have any idea what has gone wrong , I have tried installing the Rom without the gapps to make sure that if the gapps are faulty, but the problem is still there even without the gapps...please help,if really be grateful thanks .
