Does anyone know how to increase the 5000 total email limit on the stock (not gmail) email app?
If you have several email accts and have them sync ALL mail it goes bonky at 5000 and keeps telling you 5000 is limit.

Hi experts,
Another question from a novice
My friend has a SII. Whenever she sends Gmail emails from her SII, the email is truncated i.e, the old emails in the same conversation are deleted. If she sends Gmail emails from her laptop, the entire chain is present.
Is this a Gmail 'feature' or SII 'feature' ?
Is there a setting which will allow the entire conversation to be sent when she uses her Gmail via the SII ?
Its pretty important that the entire conversation be sent ... if, not possible, then she has to quit sending Gmail emails from her SII.
Thanx.
cheers,

S II has got nothing to do here, Gmail Android app does this on its own. And I am with you....this is very annoying.
How to increase email sync days to ALL DAYS in Social Hub email settings.
You can only set it to 1 month tops, there's no option to sync all mails.
All days? It will take much much longer time then. Even a week is too long for me. I have around 10K emails in my GMail inbox, just imagine how much it could take to load all of them!
Regards.
Depends:
1. in the original Samsung email app max. sync is 1 month
2. in the original Googlemail app You can adjust sync up to 999 days (almost 3 years)
Hi Im using Gmail app on SG 2, how to download all emails?
Account settings->my email address->sync inboxes and labels
I set Amount of mail to sync 999days and all labels Sync All
Am I doing anything wrong?
The applications downloaded only about 500 emails from my inbox but I need all of them about 2000 from 6 years. How to do it, please?
Cheers
I haven't got any notification from incoming messages through my email account set up in Stock Email client of Galaxy S3. I've set it to check in a frequency of 5 mins for both peak time and off-peak time. It's ironic that this email client just sync mails from server but don't notify me anything even though I've used block mode or any third-party apps that can infuse email notifications.
Each time after opening the email client, new mails were always in there but I couldn't know how to get notifications of them unless opening this app by hand.
Did anyone get this issue and know how to deal with it? Personally I'm really dedicated to this email client of Samsung with ability to customize font, signature... and modern interface compared to K-9 or Mail Droid (free version with annoying ads).
Appreciate your help.
Hello there,
i am using the Stock E-Mail Client from my Galaxy S3 and now, i want to reset my Phone but there are > 3000 Mails stored in the local Sent-Folder.
I have used SMTP to send Emails, My Mail-Provider and the Stock Email Client doesnt support the Server Side Save of Emails.
Samsung have no Solution in Form of a Backup.
How i can Backup Email-folders, if possible without Root?
Regards
