Android noob here. I am running CM9. I have a 16gb SD card that I have saved pictures and files on that I use on the NT. When I plug the NT to my computer it recognizes the device but there is no access to the SD cardd from My Computer (Windows XP) as there once was. I read somewhere that CM7 users on the NT should change a few lines in the build.prop to fix this problem...I am a little hesitant to do that on my CM9 NT. Could this be the solution or am I going in the wrong direction with this.
Much thanks
Mike

Are you not seeing anything come up? You should be seeing the external sdcard, but not the internal storage (emmc).
By the looks of it, the mounting parameters they have set in the build.prop file for CM9 are identical to the Nook Color's CM9 build.prop. I don't know if its working for the Nook Color, but the current lines basically result in only the external sd card being mounted. I tried the modifications for CM7 but no dice. I'm sure this will be fixed eventually though.
Yea nothing shows up in My Computer. I removed all the drivers and reinstalled nooks w the updates and it hasn't changed
Do you have the nook selected to mount?
Hmmm I'm not sure actually..always assumed I was since it was when I originally rooted it..I'm on cm9 though now so many I have to.
Just got a Nook Simple Touch and I'd like to root it.I've never rooted anything before so I haven't a clue what to do.From reading online,I've downloaded win32diskimager and touchnooter. What do I do now?Go easy,as I need a simple step by step guide please!I have micro SD card with adapter in my PC so I'm ready to go!
Hi all,
I've bought recently a smartphone Acer Liquid E1. This device had a 4GB memory. This is to small for me so I bought a 32 GB microsd card.
After I bought that I saw that i can not save apps on my sd card.
So the next stap will be root my device.
But I used all the programs but nothing works.
I found also the treat made by Brick3d but i can't find the right drivers. I found them on the acer site but my pc says that my device can not be installed...
So anyone please help me...
HI
I have a nook tablet. I had an android card in it also. Last week on a trip I had used it fine and one day I turned it on and now it is stuck in the window Barnes and Nobles nook. I took android card out and tried factory reset, took it to the store and also called in about it and nothing makes it want to get past that window. I also checked my android card and that got deleted somehow. How do I get this back running to the nook mode or even and android mode so I can run both nook and kindle books on it. I am pretty good and doing computer things but don't make it to complicated. I am 68. Thanks for any help because I like using this thing even though I have a 10 inch tablet

I'd suggest you burn a pre-made CM10.2 SDcard image from http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/2013...id-4-3-for-nook-tablet-imgsdc-boot-09aug2013/ (see section under heading "sdcard images") -- it's basically a superb yet free version of the android card you had bought.
Boot this SD image from power-off state and by inserting a powered USB cable; if you succeed in booting and running this image off SDcard then your hardware is still functional and you can proceed to restoring your internal ROM (see last section of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48612997&postcount=1).
Hey im using this as my guide but it seems to be missing steps what to do:
