So...you want to test the new Firefox OS right ? Now you can ! . (Note: this is just for testing ! it's not stable )
The rom is only for smultron .
This in not copiled from source ,it's just a port from Geeksphone Keon so don't ask for fixes because i can't fix them .
Working (TESTED) :
-Wifi
-Cals & SMS
-Rotation
-Camera (only photos ) VERY FAST
-Browser (Pinch to zoom,youtube,text reflow,etc. )
-Whats'app,facebook,youtube
-File manager
-Usb mass storage
-Test and tell me..
Not working :
-Green led stays on all the time
-Battery indicator (100% all the time)
-Autobrigness (manually adjust works just fine )
-Proximity sensor when calling (walkaround RESS POWER BUTTON when calling )
-Videos app
-Video recording (app freeze when switching to video)
-Play 720P .MP4 files very slooooow (like 0.3 Fps LOL )
-Games are quite laggy (Tested cut the rope and Slice Fruits)
DOWNLOAD : smultron_Firefox_OS_2.0_port.zip
HOW TO INSTALL
1.Flash stock ICS .587 with FlashTool
2.Flash kernel included in the zip
3.Boot into CWM wipe data,cache,system,dalvik
4.Flash smultron_Firefox_OS_2.0_port.zip
5.REBOOT AND ENJOY !
Mini tutorial on updating to latest nighly
First you need to download this : Firefox_OS_Porting_Tools.zip
1.Go to http://downloads.geeksphone.com/ ,select Keon and download Latest Nightly
2.After download extract the zip so you have system.img
3.Open ext4_unpacker ,import system.img and save it as EXT4
4.Open ext2explore and import the EXT4 image than save the content to a folder
5.replace the B2G & Fonts folders from the smultron_Firefox_OS_2.0_port with the new ones.
6.Flash it and enjoy the latest version of Firefox OS ! :victory:​
Maybe i will port it to coconut too but i can't test it because i don't have the device .If someone want me to create a port for it i will do it.

dude wow...!!!!!!!! plzzzz release it for urushi....few questions about firefox
1.do apps need internet to work all the time
2.heard firefox is not resource hungry which means it ll have very good battery backup..hows the same in ur port..

I think i can make a port for xperia ray but i don't know if will work .Are you interested in testing and reporting? If you use your phone as daily driver better wait until somebody build from source a stable version . NOTE: There is a chance something can go wrong and brick your device if you flash a port made from other device .In this case i will use the Geeksphone PEAK to do the port for urushi but has a higher resolution .In mdpi case (porting from Geeksphone Keon nothing bad happened) but you never know
1.NO . They can work offline too
2.I have not tested the battery yet but definitely you will not have any lockups in Firefox OS

Thank u so much u r the firefox king..dude i use my phone as daily driver for now...ill be buying budget fone pretty to use as a backup phone...for now i cant test it bro cheers im sure many will cum forward for that

hmm, rebooted a few times, says that the SIM card is not installed, it may be a problem in the operator?

but you sms and call are working ? I had this issue to but i was able to make calls and sent sms

unfortunately did not have time to try, battery low, tomorrow will hold the test again, and at the same time try to try to make the last nightly build, and today there was a problem with the inability change System in EXT4 file

your work is awesome! I only have a little but important problem: the battery doesn't charge. Neither when the phone is powered on nor is powerd off.
Edit: I didn't flash the .587 ROM. After flashing the phone charges but the SIM isn't recognised

Check out the list of What's Not Working. Its an early port for smultron and there are loads of present bugs .
