I'm having issues with my s4 not receiving picture messages. They don't come in for days later. Any suggestions or ideas?

Try clearing data on messaging. And are you stock, rooted? What build are you on?

I am on stock rooted mk2. I've cleared data and cache and that's when it work for a Lil bit then stops again.
I don't want to call Verizon but I might have to bc I use picture messaging for work a lot.

Well if clearing data doesn't do it then a factory reset should. Downloading 3rd party MMS like hand cent won't fix the problem.

I had a call blocker app that all of a sudden ( after using it for months) was interfering with my MMS.

You didn't give much details.. What ROM & Kernel are you running?

I have stock rom since release. my phone is also rooted, oclf ryanza installed., apmobile as well gps fix done too. Everything worked fine but the mms. One funny thing, I only have problem when sending or receiving mms with another vibrant phone. Thanks.

I have determined that problem caused by apndroid enabled. Disabled apndroid mms 2 ways worked fine. Don't know if there is specific apn setting for non data vibrant? Thanks.

j/k mate, good luck with your problem.
i cant send mms to my wife, we both have stock vibrants. I start a text, select "attach" and "capture video", and i recorded our dog doing stupid stuff for 15-20 seconds, well within the limit, so im doing everything correctly. I tried about 4-5 times over the past couple of days before giving up oddly enough i can send them to myself the same way but not my wifes vibrant. I had horrible mms issues with my g1, my mytouch 3g and even my nexus 1 and i started thinking/hoping it was an htc issue, i guess its either tmobile or android, either way its been so tiring not being able to send mms consistently since my first android (g1) over a year and a half ago, such a basic function, i could see if i were rooted or had otherwise modded my phone but its just how it came.... Anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it? thanks

How do you disable apndroid? NEVERMIND
I flashed a custom ROM and after deciding I didn't like it I restored a factory stock ROM and every since all hell broke loose.
At first I had no connection of any kind whatsoever no matter what ROM or modem I flashed.
Then I dialed ##72786# and it seemed to have restored all connections.
Went to bed.
Woke up with only 3g working and nothing else. No calls and no sms.
Flashed a bunch of ROMS again including factory stock and no dice.
Spent 3 hours with Sprint Customer Service and they could not figure out why my phone cannot make calls or send sms. Kept activating and programming my phone with zero result
When making calls I would get "error 16" and the "your account could not be validated"
Please help! I am ready to sell this phone because I don't know what else to do.
Have you take it to sprint store?

I heard people having problems restoring a NANdroid from CM9. What version of CWM did you have? You tried a full odin restore? If so, try a return to stock odin restore with clear /esn checked in odin and see if that fixes it.

I know...it's pretty stupid. I use it all the time to check on my daughter's data use.

I'm using Thundershed 1.6 w Zoom Kernel. My Verizon works for me. I downloaded it through GooglePlay. Only thing is it doesn't auto log me in and it comes up with a missing info page when click but you simply click ok and it brings you to the login for the app and works from there. The data widget no long auto updates either. You have to click on it, log in to update it each time. Can use it on 3g/wifi/4g.
Maybe check out google play to see you have the latest version?
Anyone know what this is? I started getting these on the sense 5 rom and now I'm stock and got it again. Happened when a friend tried to send a pic. They had to send it twice for it to work.

Not that I can think of. I could have though. I've installed and uninstalled so many apps it's hard to keep track. You mean just grabbing the apk online?

It's a WAP push. Something to do with the MMSc.
I got those when I went from a feature phone to smartphone.
I blocked the number but a call to CS should fix it. I'm blaming the iPhone.

It only started happening after I ran AOSP and Sense 5 based roms recently. Got it on sense 5 and restored and started getting it on stock as well. I tried googling the issue and got nothing. Not sure verizons goons are gonna be able to do anything.
Verizon support is not the best. Most don't even know what they are talking about. When I called once to get my data working again on my continuum the guy who I got had the same phone and he said he had the same problem but his data was just turned off and he didn't even know...

Could it have something to do with the MMS proxy being set wrong in the APN settings? Are you running one of the Sense 5 ROMs designed for GSM use?

Nope. Was running NOS vzw sense 5 and never messed with my APN. Seems like thats all normal though. Only happens when my friend with her iphone tries to send me a pic. The message in thr screenshot will show up and she'll have to send again for it to work. Android to android seems to work fine.

Google search for vnd.wap.mms and you'll find info. It should've cleared itself by now though.

Have you tried a factory reset?
Or toggling the data modes?
If neither of those worki would return the phone, as it wouldn't be the sim card which only affects 4g.

This just happened to me a few days ago. I used Odin and flashed the latest image. Then I did device reset under settings. That brought it back for me. All data on the internal storage gets erased though. If all that fails, you can use one of the code in the pictures attached. That should work. Hope it helps.

You dial them as if they were phone numbers, in the dialer app. You can also copy and paste them in there (easier if no computer handy)
