[Q] FM Radio Problem in Galaxy S2 i9100T

Hi, I'm having an issue with the FM radio on my Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100t).
I open the FM radio app (pre-loaded), plug in the headphones (as far in as they go), I then attempt to switch it on (touch key on the top left), a message is displayed saying: "Unable to turn on FM radio". I then try scanning for channels and it displays: "No channel found".
This happened with the stock firmware. Last night I installed Android 2.3.6 using Odin 1.85 and it displayed all available FM stations and worked perfectly, so there is definately a FM tuner. Then this morning it started displaying the old messages again.
The details of my phone are:
Model: Samsung galaxy S2 i9100T
Original provider: Vodafone Australia
Original firmware: DUKF4
Alternative firmware tried: KI4 (Android 2.3.6), KF1 (Android), Cyanogenmod 7, MIUI 1.7.29, KP8 (Android 4.0.3)
I can use Tunein or similar internet streaming applications, but I would really prefer to use the FM tuner as this gets better signal.
I'd really appreciate any advice on this, does anyone know of a custom build that will fix the issue?
UPDATE - Solved
Just fixed this issue, it was just dodgy stock firmware
Installing Lite'ning Rom v6.1 XXKH3 (had to do it twice) took care of it, thank you very much to LitePro, it's a great, fast, stable ROM:

The radio works perfectly now

Sleep of death

My GF's S2 sometimes dies when it is idle and not being used. She must restart the phone again to use it. The phone is a couple of months new and she already sent it back to Samsung for repair but all they did was reinstall the stock version alll over again. I have tried flashing a custom 4.2.2 ROM but the issue persists. Any ideas what could be causing this issue and what should she do next ?
White Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100)
Baseband: I9100BOLP7
Stock ROM 4.0.4 (T-Mobile branding)
If reinstalling the ROM (and kernel? or not?) didn't help, then it's a hardware issue. Insist to get another, functioning device.

[Q] [SWH-M250S] Loss of network after 5-10 minutes of flashing any firmware

Hello Guys,
I have ended in to to a very strange problem.
I got my Samsung galaxy s2 from a Hong Kong seller on Ebay with model GT-I9100. On the back sticker and the box.
I upgraded to Leaked version of 4.1.2
Android Version: 4.1.2 - JZO54K (Jelly Bean)
PDA: I9100XXLSJ
CSC: I9100OXXLS1
MODEM: I9100XXLS6
Changelist: 462349
Build Date: 6th November 2012
After 3 months of usage, one day morning. I lose all my network which never came back and *#06# giving null/null. Also unknown baseband.
Tried out several stock roms which would get the signal for few minutes and then die out. Will get the IMEI until I restart, after which it gives unknown.
I came to know recently that my phone is a SHW-M250S converted to I9100 when it was shipped. The IMEI check showed me that it was produced by SKT with model number SHW-M250S. I don't know what firmware version it was shipped to me.
I tried out the M250S_HOME_M250S.UG26.1655_CL906886_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5 from for korean M250S with korean PIT file and phone works with NFC and TV tuner. Still after few minutes, network dies out and never comes back. Sim card not recognized then and unknown baseband, IMEI.
Tried with the latest stock rom for GT I9100 with I9100 PIT file I9100XWLSN_I9100OXXLS8_NEE but same result.
I rooted my phone and had back up of my efs. I do not know whether that was modified before shipping me.
Please let me know if any one has faced this kind of a problem and/or solution for this.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Help with choosing update for GT-I9300

Hello,
I own a Galaxy S3 International and I haven't updated it in a while. When I got it it was with some Vodafone branded rom (I think it was from Vodafone Ireland) and I just flashed it the first 4.1.2 that came out http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=9222 - I9300 XXELKC
So the phone was working fine with this ROM although I have a problem with 3G - can't use 3G so I think the modem in this rom is not the same as the phone's but I have no idea about this... Now for no particular reason I've started to get some random freezes so I read about this Sudden Death Syndrome and decided that I should update my firmware before it's too late. Thing is I have no idea which ROM to pick? Should I get 4.3 (can you downgrade after you get it?) OR should I just get the latest 4.1.2 version? Also how can I be certain the ROM's modem will be the same as my phone's so that I can use 3G? Because now when I use my mobile internet it can't connect to 3G it just uses the H+ and every now and then it tries to connect via 3G but this results in no internet so it switches back to H+ again. If it will be of any help my kernel version is: 3.0.31-566833 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Nov 30 17:48;33 KST 2012
Thanks in advance for the help

Download the latest version Android 4.3 for Ireland with sammobile.com
.Sudden Death occurs between 150-200 days of purchase device...Perhaps you OFF because you key the ignition faulty - My friend had the problem.
I think you can downgrade at anytime.....
Why not make a nandroid backup, and try it yourself whether the 3g works or not. I guess the modem will be different, but if it is working on your area, why not
I live on the furthest country from many ROMs being developed and having no problem with the modem?
