Huawei Honor 2 U9508 -Twrp - HELP!! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I installed TWRP 2.6.3.0 , after I restart my phone he stuck at the logo screen,
Can't go in recovery mode.
I tried connecet the phone to my computer (win 7) device manager unrecednaized it.
Need help what to do!!
Thanks,

I had similar with my p1 a couple of days ago. Turn off the handset. Hold volume up while turning it on, once you get to the huawei splash screen let go of the power but keep the volume up pressed. It should then open recovery after a few more seconds.
Fingers crossed it will work for yours too.

Can't get into download mode or recovery mode

I recently bought a rooted Galaxy S3 from a friend. The problem is I can't get into download mode or CWM recovery.
I tried installing CWM recovery using ROM manager (v5) but I got an error saying: "GT-9300 does not have an officiall supported CWM recovery yet.
The phone is on android version 4.1.1 at this moment.
Could you help me installing recovery?

No download mode then you have a faulty phone and require a service centre repair .
jje
You could try a usb jig to force into download mode. They're a couple of dollars / pounds whatever.
There's also a thread in general to find who could lend you one nearby

That seems a smart question I'm new to Samsung.
Download: Volume down, power on button and front button (home button) pushed in at the same time whilst the device is off to get into download. Result: I see the screen go on (screen is black but there's backlight) and after a couple of seconds it just boots the normal android system.
Recovery is volume up, power and home at the same time when the device is turned off. Same here, I see a response e.g. the backlight goes on but after a few seconds the phone boots up normally.
The booting proces takes longer than it normally does when just turning the device on. I think the software installed is causing this (the hardware seems to respond but it's like the software just ignores the input)

I'll keep my hands of the adb thing. I don't want to make my problem worse
In my country no one seems to know such a usb jig but I already found a place where I can order them
I just have to stick the thing in and wait for it to engage download mode before I plug in my normal data cable right?
Thanks for the help
So I believe. I've not used one myself

[Q] Softbricked/bootlooped Huawei Ascend Mate?!?!

i installed flashify onto my Huawei ascend mate 1, and install CWM. it asked to flash it, i pressed yes and it shutdown and won't boot normally, It's stuck on the logo mode.
if i press the power button for 10 seconds, it vibrates once before restarting normally and is stuck at the logo screen.
if i press volume - and power button simultaneously, same thing happens (note this is how i used to get into recovery mode before)
When i press the volume + and power button together after 10 seconds, it goes off and back on again Without the little vibration in the other cases, but gets stuck again
same thing happens when i hold down the 3 buttons all together.
i downloaded the stock rom from huawei's websit, put it into the dload folder and tried everything above 3 times. nothing happens.
i connect it to my computer for a chance to adb/fastboot, but in vain.
guys what can i do?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I'm going to move your thread here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p6/ascend-mate where experts on your device can help you. You're probably going to have to flash the stock firmware on your device to get it working again.

Hey guys, I was going through the root process of rooting my HTC desire X, I successfully unlocked boot loader and even installed TWRP recovery . later I loaded the recovery and was checking it out , as I found there was an option to install superuser from the recovery itself , I clicked it and it ran a few scripts and my phone powered off. That's it from then I'm unable to turn on my phone , iv tried holding volume down and power button for more than 60 secs still no progress.....when plugged it after intervals of time it vibrates 5 times by itself (LED is orange not blinking just on) kindly help guys...

Google Pixel 2XL some important troubles/errors

Hello Guys. So, i bought Google Pixel 2XL (new) from AliExpress. Works fine. Then i joined to android 10 beta programm. Evening installation android beta 10 OS was stuck at ~60%. Morning still at 60%. I reboot him, cuz i had no choise. Phone started, version was Android 10 Q. But then my phone after 30 secs going in sleeping mode - it stuck and no responding. Need to reboot. But I can not turn on my phone immediately. I hold power button 5-10sec - nothing happen. Then i hold power button 20 sec, phone make small vibration but still nothing happen. So i holding power button 5-7-10 minutes, and after this he can turn on and work as usual phone (but still stuck in sleeping mode).
So what i have here:
Computer doest see this phone! I think it is the most important. I tried 2 PC's and different cables (i also have type-C connector in my laptop). Just start charging, but nothing in device manager. (yes i have drivers)
I have no Root on this phone
I can't enter in recovery mode. I can enter in first screen after pressing buttons VolDown + Power (holding 5-10 minutes). But then i choose Recovery mode - phone trying to restart but stucks and can not turn on.
After all this i returned from android beta 10Q to stable android 9 by updating in settings, but phone still have these problems. Do you have some ideas, what i can do?
