hi there, i am facing a weird problem with my phone as if i flash cwm recovery then my touch works in recovery,but it's not working with Twrp recovery.
I recently replace my Touch Screen Digitizer Glass for my CHD.Phone works normally but the problem arises only with twrp recovery.
need help !!...

Hello everyone.
I have a rather strange problem with my hero.
I'm using Amon_Ra 1.7.0.1, but I was curious about ROM manager and it's clockwork recovery.
I used included flash option to put clockwork into my phone. everything looked ok, until I tried to boot into recovery itself.
Phone froze showing Android.
I ripped the battery, ROM loaded correctly, ROM manager still saying that I have correct recovery flashed.
I flashed Amon_Ra again, using Android Commander, and it works as it should.
I don't know if Clockwork is worth attention, if Amon_ra works flawlessly, but I'm curious if someone had similar experience.
(oh, I tried to download apropriate ZIP from http://www.koushikdutta.com/2010/02/clockwork-recovery-image.html, but also no luck booting into recovery after flashing).

Same here, I used UnrEVOked 3.2.1, rooted perfectly, tried to boot into recovery and nothing, just a black screen with white borders, after several attempts, I bricked my phone, long story, so after a trip to Verizon, I got a brand new Incredible, rooted again with UnrEVOked, and again not able to boot into recovery. So I installed ROM Manager, and loaded an experimental version of CLockwork, I think 2.5.1.1, nearly the same thing happens, except now I got the weird red/green/blue/white boot screen flashing all at once. but the alternate recovery included with ROM Manager works just fine… I don't what's going on.
hi i got the solution of your and mine problem there is an option in ROM manager to switch the recovery to RA connect your phone through wifi then switch recovery to RA then it will download the original HTC recovery back and the problem solved after that uninstall the ROM Manager i got this solution today and my problem is solved i hope so that u are also suffering from the same problem

I just bought a rooted/bootloader unlocked/s-off HTC one from someone. I went to flash TWRP via goo manager and the touch screen does not work in TWRP. i installed CWM and that worked...until the rom i was flashing went to the aroma installer. Then the touch function in recovery stopped working again. Any ideas and help please?

my find 5 was having some reboot issues (it was rebooting a few times per day) and that was a bit anoying. I was using an old original FW so i decided to update to a newer one. Heard good stuff about the Omni so i went for that, so i was using TWRP 2.4.1.0 (i think... i'm sure it was 2.4.x) and on the omni page they said we have to use TWRP 2.6 so i went for an update.
here, i think, i've created my problem. I used the new flashify app to install the TWRP but instead of choose recovery img i choosed to flash the boot and i guess i'd flashed the TWRP on the boot.
well anyaway, now i'd installed the TWRP 2.6.3.1 i manage to start the phone in fastboot and recovery all good here, i install every rom nice and easy over TWRP but the phone simply doesn't start, it gets stuck on Touchscreen Firmware Update please wait.... this happens ALWAYS with what version of TWRP or even if i install CWM...
my guess is that i'd messed up some partition or so i don't really know what but i'd tried to format every partition that TWRP let me and still getting the freackin Touchscreen Frim updt screen... so need some Pro help to help me undo the mistake i'd done...
i'd tried to manualy flash the boot with my current firms boot.img and still no go... the damn touchscreen update screen keeps showing on no matter what....

i change the firmware and start logo changes too so booting it's changing why the hell the touchscreen update keeps appearing... grrrrr i even installed a chinese firmware and a equivalent screen appeared i'm pretty sure it says: "Touchscreen Firmware Update in Progress Please Wait" but in chinese XD really don't know what to do anymore...

i just don't know what to do anymore... does anyone knows what makes the phone try to update the touchscreen firm? today i installed the CWM in boot not in recovery just to test if the damn thing would go to the touch updt screen again and it just boot to the CMW like it should (normal because i'd flashed the CMW in the boot place). now i flash a new firmware (that will flash the correct boot.img) and the thing keeps holding on the touch update... i'm really out of ideas now
one other thing it's that if i install the TWRP in boot it won't boot in TWRP like it shoul... it stucks on oppo logo.
well i managed to install the same firm i had and have no touchscreen update... but if i install any other firm the message appear...

I'm from India and I was on stock 4.1.2. Since I didn't want to root my phone, I installed cwm through odin and then installed philz touch recovery 6.00.8 and installed Neatrom lite v4.8. Everything was normal till today and I wanted to install the full version of neatrom(4.1.2), so I booted into recovery, but suddenly I'm getting into boot loop and not able to enter neither the recovery nor the phone. But I'm able to get into download mode... Please help!!!!! I didn't do anything except this.....:crying:

I reflashed cwm touch thru odin again and was able to get the phone working again!!! so, does the latest version of philz touch cwm is having any issues??? I'm not sure, if this is the right thread to be asked about this!!!!!
This is a commonly answered question. Please search before making a new thread. Glad that you fixed your phone. Make sure the rom you are trying to install is spefically for your phone. I had CWM 5 on my Galaxy I9300, and I installed 4.3.1 CM custom rom, and downloaded gapps for 4.3, but google play crashed everytime. Then I flashed CWM via odin, and i installed v 6.0.4.5 but with this version I couldnt " wipe dalvik cache" so I flashed v 6.0.4.6 but it wont open in recovery, then I flashed another one, and when I turned the device on, the touch screen was not responding, it booted regulary, then I tried 4.1.2 CM custom rom, but the problem is the same. I have no carrier, where to find stock rom, or what to do?, here are some photos I wont do anything on my own, to avoid more demage. Thanks for help

You blew the digitiser by flashing a recovery from another s3 model, there is no fix apart from replacing the screen assembly.
Jes, the digitiser is blown. Can i replace just him, cuz the display is working?
