I experienced a similar issue flashing Hyperdrive.
If you're using TWRP it seems to flash better with OUHDS which is how I ultimately fixed my phone.
For a quick fix it seemed perfectly stable to do a restore or flash the rom and just not do a reboot.
But you'll likely need to return to stock and try again.
Can I just do a restore in Odin? what could I use on a mac to do a restore? Like I said it lets me access download mode only. It just vibrates when i try to boot up....
Can you get into recovery?
Did you make a back up before flashing hyperdrive?
Do you have Odin and the stock image for the phone handy?
If you can't get into recovery odin is probably your only option
If you can get into recovery, make sure your internal storage is not full, as that caused a boot loop for me.
If you made a back up, try a restore.
If you did not make a back up, you could try reinstalling hyperdrive.
If you can get the phone booted, it should be good as long as you don't attempt a reboot.
If you can't do any of the above things, you'll likely need to flash the stock image with Odin and then start from scratch.
1.No
2.Yes
3.No
My internal storage is not full. How can I do this using Hemdall? Or how can I download the stock recovery file on my mac and send it to a windows computer since it is taking forever to download??
How are you getting into download mode?
Trying to get into recovery you had the phone off, battery in, unplugged from charger. And then hold volume up and power key, then let go of power but hold volume up until recovery should boot?
no it wont work. I turn the phone on and all it does it vibrates. And I get a barley visible white line in the middle of the phone. I did this before and used odin to unbrick it but the files won't download.. and now i need to do this on a mac.
Can you help me??

Your only option at this point is to get into recovery, and if you can not, get into download mode, and ODIN back to stock.
The Ax says, good luck and good day!
I can only access download mode. Could you provide me with a download link please? VerizonS4 I545
Please be patient,& Gentle with me, I'm new here,,, (TY) Hi, I have a Pantech P9060 (old I know ) Android 2.3.4 , Gingerbread( Stock Rom). It's rooted. It will turn on, load in the boot screen- and stop there, and if I touch the power/menu keys, it will start the loop acting boot process, without re-starting the phone , just continuous boot screen. I have changed the boot screen probably 3/4 times from the original AT&T screen using Jimmy Rummel apps, Rom Installer . I've tried returning back from backup, Titanium Pro, I backed up to google drive as well, but regardless I can't seem to reset to factory( which I've done before), or even update, Nothing.. It's so frustrating. I've searched these forums inside out for a solution as to not bother you guys with my old phone issues, but I have to admit, I need help with this. I don't think it's hard bricked, I'm thinking I may have flashed the wrong Rom( im not sure though) trying to upgrade from 2.3.4 .. Not positive though. I sure hope there's someone to help me here, It wont connect to the PC syncing, Pantech PC Suite, yet my pc shows the phone in Device Manager and Computer. So I'm hoping I've done something simple, :/ stupid,,but simple. Anyone help me out ? Rooted Apps & System info/apps on my phone are in a File Manager > xposed, bootmanager, clockworkmod, rom mod installer pro, Titanium Pro, and others...Can it someway be just flashed to a new rom of some version? :crying: Thanks in advance.......

Don't think that there are any custom updates. I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IOQJJCSKC4 - Sorry it's not in English, but it's the only thing I found that actually had a download of the rom. Even Pantech doesn't seem to have anything besides the manual and drivers for it.
Thanks

If the device powers up but is not able to boot into the operating system, that is referred to as a soft brick.

your right, it's not English, therefore I'm outta luck on that. haha although I still watched and tried to see if just maybe I'd catch some insight from it.. but thank you for sharing it with me..
This is urgent because its my brothers note 3. I have my own personal Note 3 that is rooted with custom rom and works perfectly. I tried simply rooting his phone via odin but now the phone wont boot. I power cycle and the samsung logo flashes and it takes me to odin mode. in big red letters at the top of the screen it says Could not normal boot. Please help me!
Try removing the back and pulling the battery out for a few seconds. Then replace all and reboot. I've used this trick when nothing else works and see other comments where this helped with a stuck reboot.

I actually resolved the issue by downloading the latest stock rom and reflashing it. Luckily i didnt lose any data.
Not sure why the root didnt work though since it did on mine.

Hi gang!
I have a Moto E 2nd Generation here that was having some issues, browser crashing, slow downs, overheating issues due to multiple apps running, etc. So I decided to log into TWRP and attempt to do a factory reset. After this factory reset was done now I attempt to log into fastboot, which gives me the options of start, restart, factory, etc. I am just receiving a boot loop and nothing more. The steps to get this corrected is a bit jumbled and confusing, I must admit. I have installed ADB on my computer in hopes that this will be straightforward. I have downloaded some system images which I thought would help the process, negative. So if someone could help me this would be greatly appreciated.

Heyo John!
I can try to help since I have managed to overcome my bootloop issue and flash a custom ROM into my phone. Could I ask, are you trying to also install a custom ROM? And what version of TWRP do you have?
I had the bootloop issue because of an outdated TWRP and had to flash the latest one, which thankfully worked!
Let me know! ^_^

Hello testerexp345,
Thank you for the reply and the assistance, I am not sure if TWRP is installed anymore as I can't get passed the bootscreen on the phone. I hold down the volume down and power button to get the options of factory reset, shut down, restart, etc. However all these options lead back to the boot screen looping over. The ROM that I had installed on the phone was from an online seller that paired the phone with a SIM card that allowed unlimited data service, which was great for my business since I am out much of the week traveling. Any insight would help, as when it comes to flashing devices and cell phones... let's just say I am a newbie still

Hey

Hi, thank you anyway but i had some error while i tryied to flash rom and gapp as you can see in the attached screeshot:
sorry, I repeated the installation a second time but this time without any kind of error, now I have restarted the system to get it started, I am with the boot screen in loop, I have read that at the first start it takes some time, for now I wait.
he boot screen is in loop for almost an hour, now the istallation was clear,
I have done these steps in sequence:
format and reboot recovery
flash ROM and GAPPS
reboot - system
boot screen is in loop
any advice?
thanks a lot
Sure ... How well do you already know about rooting or the tools for Samsumg devices?
I will sketch a brief instruction, first download:
Odin (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ead-03-sep-20-galaxy-s10-sm-g975f-ds.3908710/ should work ... you can find most of the software in the tools section odf xda)
SamFirm (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-downloader-checker.2988647/)
Use SamFirm to download the latest original Samsung Firmware.
(Connect Tablet with PC & start Download-Mode: press Power (only until Vibrate) + Volume down + Home green Screen then Volume Up, voila)
And use Odin to flash Tablet S3 -> good as new, and you can start all over again ;-)
I will attach some Screenshots ...
Many Greetings
STOP
Did you (not forget to) FORMAT DATA before your attempt to Install a Rom???
maybe try to flash https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-sm-t820-tweaked-rom-sm-t820-tweaked.3659433/ first ... in the thread are very detailed instructions.
just to clarify the above, this is done wile in twrp > wipe menu >format data and it requires you type"yes" before it launches the process
@Frischifrisch @Lucauonz
As Samsung has changed servers or what so ever, Samfirm I didn't find working any longer.
Samfirm_reborn did/does it.
GitHub - ivanmeler/SamFirm_Reborn
Contribute to ivanmeler/SamFirm_Reborn development by creating an account on GitHub.

.
Btw. recommendation of "Format Data" I encourage as well.
Might be neccessary to reboot to recovery afterwards before continuing.
@Lucauonz Which Gapps are you using?
Pico version I've always found best, as everything else can be installed later additionally.
Try just flashing ROM and test if device restarts without anything else to exclude Gapps as the cause for the failure.
Hi guys,
thanks a lot for your help, for now i am still with this problem, i am left with the boot screen in loop,
