Bro i am no expert but i got the info. for my headphones from this site. they cover the widest variety particularly for the headphones. hope it may help you.

Oh thanks bro.. btw i got myself sennheiser CX-180 as its sound quality is mind blowing along with v4A:good:
I love using my Koss PortaPro on my Galaxy... Sounds amazing, paired with some high quality OGG vorbis music.

ive got an xda 2s thats ****ed (couldnt make a connecting call, but could make a call when the other person was using there fone so i got the busy tone)
any way..
im gonnabe stripping it down for the screen, so if i can get the speaker out i can prob sort u out with it.
wont be stripping the fone untill next week some time,

If by 'very good' you mean expensive, slow and ignorant of parts variation within models ( I'm talking blueangel LCD's here) then yes they are. :shock:
If however you prefer cheaper parts and knowledgable people checkout ebay sellers such as myself. 8)
p.s o.p already got the speaker from me for £15. How much are apexlaptop's?....

But the cheapest route is to get some extUSB->3.5mm dongles off ebay.

That's why I made up the set I posted earlier. I hate using a dongle. I found the HTC thingie on eBay, but none cheaper than $25 + shipping. I'll stick with my homemade headset.

Eh? You have a variety of extUSB->3.5mm dongles/cables.
Just get one that suits you.

I guess you don't understand. I DON'T like the dongles. That's why I made my own set of USB earphones with gel buds. Can't make it any clearer than that.

do that remote work with the TP2? i heard a lot of bad things about it. One that it only work with WMP(window media player). Enough said :|

Congrats on your new phone..but i think the first thing you should do is study the threads here on issues people are having and carryout tests to determine yours is not having same issues..if your phone is defect free and u decide to keep it..than only u start cuatomizing/rooting etc etc as u like.
Just my opinion though..

Throw away the earphones.
First thing i did was test for lag then gps. Speed is unreal with 0 lag-ever. gps is faultless-even beter than my old omnia hd which always amazed me for gps. battery is solid aswell so im one of the lucky ones. My quadrant and smart bench are below par but i dont give a **** about benchmarks. All i did really to customize was put on launcher pro and widgit locker-thats it. My sgs 1 i was always trying to find best lag fix-or best gps firmware, ive never had a phone so impressive out of the box
Keep the earphones better than my Sennheiser or Shure .
Two decide what's wrong for yourselves dont start with negative views of a minority otherwise you will see flaws where there are none .
Remember that the majority are not posting my xxx does not work .

I have about six sets of headphones and in ear buds ..
Sound level on phone via earphones is good at 50% .
But you have to remember that sound quality depends upon format music is in also .
Plus if you want to listen to the sound with a large amount of distortion in it such as much higher Treble or Bass its never going to be that good on a small MP3 format player that has been produced to provide a middle range sound .
Crap music = Crap sound .

Jesus F Christ. Use the search function. Massive thread on this IN THE RIGHT PLACE already.
How did I know someone with a fist up their ass would respond like this. It's a simple question that someone will be able to easily answer if they have the headphones.
I searched the 'Sony Xperia S' Forum for "Dre" and 'Beats' and couldn't see a thread named anything like do beats work with our phone. I've found stuff about having the beats software put on the phone though.

Because they were "free" to begin with in the box -- and most people buy better ones like 1More triple driver earphones or Sound Magic E50S or E80S.
So, they sell the extra pair they don't need and don't intend to use.
Also a bunch of people complained their carriers took their earphones from the box -- they were missing. Looks like they're being sold on eBay!
