Hello, everybody.
I own a Nokia Lumia 800 running Windows Phone 7.8. The text messages on my phone are very very much valuable to me, and I will do anything to take a backup of them, anything, even breaking down the phone.
I searched a lot to find a way to do it by software, but it seems that no way is available. And I tried to find a way to open my phone and somehow access its storage, but haven't found any way yet...
Can anyone here help me do so, or show me a path towards finding a way?

I have the AT&T 8525 which I believe is called the Hermes, but I've heard about a million names for one device I'm starting to get confused. Any way I successfully unlocked my SIM/CID and now I'm looking to update my rom. I use T-Mobile and would like to get it set to the most basic factory settings that T-Mobile would use themselves so I can use all the features on my phone. At this point I can hardly receive messages, cant get into T-Zones, or anything.
I did do a search of the forums and on Google and I couldn't get any clear guidance on what to do. XDA is freakin awesome and I know you guys know the right path.
Any help is appreciated.
I just installed BLACK and its working great. I havn't tried any of the other roms, but don't think I want to.
I'm still having major issues with ActiveSync though. It seems like any time I change something I have to delete my device and restart it. Basicly I think ActiveSync sucks.
Okay, I´m now turning to the greatest Android forum on the internet in hope of help.
I´ve been searching and browsing both this and other sites trying to figure out how to solve my problem, without any luck so far.
I am currently running BeHero v1.3.2, in case you need to know.
People / Menu / Show
Sim 124
Google 240
Exchange 226
Phone 124
The numbers is offcourse the number of contatc in each category.
How can I sync these? Right now its a mess, I dont know how many duplicates there is, I dont even know how many real contact I actually have.
I would like to move all those contacts into a single place and then somehow remove duplicates and them get them back into my phone.
I really hope someone knows, and I really really hope that if someone does, he/she could tell me and pretend that I'm a 5-year old kid. I mean like a step-by-step instruction that simply cant be missunderstood.
I'm on my knees, begging for help.
I was trying to look around for this, but couldn't find anything. Is it possible? And if it is, what are the apps/programs for this?
Sorry for the bump (which im not even sure is allowed here), but I'd really like to know if this is possible
I have stuck to my Lumia 640 as long as I could but it is finally failing and I am need switch to Android.
I have searched online extensively for any way to install and run Windows Mobile 8.1/10 on an android phone, but even though there is some info available, none is exactly what I would like. I dk if that is because it's not possible, or I missed it. If there's knowledge about this anywhere, it's here.
Ideally I would like to actually run Windows Mobile, not just make it appear as if it does -- if at all possible. If not, what is the next closest option -- I would prefer keep learning Android to the minimum. In either case, pls refer me to instructions if available.
If there are specific android budget/mid-range phones that are better for this, or that have been successfully converted, please advise.
Any help/info will be greatly appreciated.

The HTC M8 came in both Android and Windows versions. I never tried to flash one to the other, but it should be possible.

Hi guys. Not sure if I'm in the right sub but I'm desperate for help.
I've had a Lenovo smart display 8 and it was working okay before. I did not use it for some time until I moved back to my country lately.
I tried to set it up and it seemed to update to the latest firmware. Voice works but I noticed that the screen isn't responsive. Thinking that something was wrong, I tried to reboot the device but it didn't get any better, so I tried resetting by holding +/- buttons. It went through the setup process again but now at the final step, it won't go any further. It looks like a bug that has disabled the touch screen imo. I've searched and found a lot of people having the same issue with not just lenovo but also nest hub. Do anyone have an idea how we can flash an older firmware to fix this?? (I'm not in the US btw, so I can't send it to service center. And the device isn't distributed in my country so I doubt whether local support could help. I don't want it to become a paperweight) It gets even more frustrating that the device is connected to wifi network and can receive audio cast, even youtube cast but the screen will only show Almost done! Finish setup.
I've tried to collect resources across the internet. There is open-source from lenovo website. File in tar.gz and I don't know how to compile it into an img file for flashing. There is another thread when someone posted a system dump in another thread, but it's not active. I wonder which one to use and further steps to make it work. Can anyone with expertise help me, please??

Smart Display System Dump or APK
Hey, guys - I've been scouring everywhere whether anyone has been able to perform a system dump of a Smart Display device. Since the Home Hub is using Cast as its method of being display I'm almost positive it won't be able to be engineered on...
