It's not a major pain in the butt, but I would not mind getting rid of the notification that pops up on the screen after I remove the charging cable reminding me to close the cover. Anyone have a fix for this? I haven't been able to find anything in settings, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

There isn't a setting for it. You're going to have to look for either an Xposed module or another ROM.

Every once in a while, while idle, I get a notification in the notification bar that warns me not to listen to music too
loudly. Is there any way to disable that? It's just annoying. I didn't see anything in the normal or in the developer
options.

Nope. Unless... root... Afterwards I believe things like GravityBox could help with that.

Thanks, I was kind of figuring since there wasn't an option anywhere, it might require root. No biggie, just a little annoying, but
I can put up with it.

I think it's baked into Android, probably on the advice of Google Legal. It's on KK 4.4 on my Moto G, which I haven't bothered to root.
OK so in lollipop every time I boot up it wants me to set screen a screen security but I don't like having a lockscreen so does anyone have any idea of how I could disable this? Tia

possibly would remember you dont want one. not sure what else to try.

Yes, from the main clock screen, swipe down and select do no disturb. The watch will stay on but wont bother you for notifications or turn on when you move around.

Oh sweet thanks!
The question's been asked a few times before (including by me), but so far with no solution. I'm trying again, then:
Does anyone know an app or hack or tweak that will completely kill the charging LED (or kill the LED altogether - if only I could open the phone and disconnect it!)? Yes, I'm rooted, and yes, I've tried "LightFlow", "Charging LED", Light Manager", etc., but so far none work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just use custom rom and change color.......
Many thanks, but I don't want to change the colour, I want to switch it off completely.
I'm very happy with the stock ROM, and I would much prefer not to have to use a custom one. However, if anyone here is able to verify from experience that it would definitely be possible to switch off the charging LED completely under a custom ROM, then I guess I may have to consider doing that.

You can set it to black and it will match the body of the ultra. Why does the led bother you?
...............
That looks very encouraging, thanks. Can you tell me where the screenshot comes from? Is it an app, or part of the settings of a custom ROM, in which case which one? Many thanks.
As for why I want to switch it off: I have a desktop charger by my bed, the phone is positioned facing me, as I want. But when I'm sleeping I want complete darkness and the LED is a tremendous annoyance.

Thats a part of settings app with led options injected. It appears in most cm based roms.
Cheers. I do apologise if I'm sounding pedantic or difficult, but can you actually recommend a specific ROM? I'm not experienced with trying out ROMs, and I'd prefer not to install one, only to discover that it doesn't have the right settings, and so have to try another. Thanks very much.

Probably a dumb question, but every single notification I get seems to wake the screen and I can't find a setting that explicitly disables this. I'm using a KIW-L24 running marshmallow.
Would any of you know how to stop this behavior?

Go into settings. Select Screen and passwords.
Turn off the option 'Notifications turn on screen'.
I hope this helps you. Take care!
