What version of Android is your desire? I'm running version 4 on kk but I have an older HTC that's in ICS that may have it. Let me know

Hi I'm running Android v2.3.5 Gingerbread on my phone.
ICS equals to v4.0 and upwards. I dunno if this file would be fully compatible with v2.3.5, probably it is not...
Someone else who can upload the appropriate com.android.calendar for me??
Anyway, thanks so far dude!

Com.android.calendar
Where does this come from and when is it updated. It is not on Google play and it has no icon in the installed apps. In the settings apps it shows as a disable only but no Icon on the Launcher. I have google calendar installed so I get two notifications. Can I just delete con.android.calendar? I running Oreo on my Oneplus One.

Try OMEGA...it is from the same developer and its just with a new theme installed on it and they renamed it to S voice rather go for OMEGA which supports htc wildfire than S voice which is slower to OMEGA ill put a link where u can download it for free

[cant put the link...sorry] but type Omega.apk on google and open the link of 4shared

If u get Android 4.0 on your device then put google now directly on it rather than wasting time on S voice which is rather slow and inaccurate
i currently cannot put the link on the post because i need to submit 10 posts before i can but ust type this on youtube n you will be guided through a step by step proceddure (Root required) type:"Google Now on ICS"
Thank me if u found this helpful

Okay, how does someone port over apps from Ice Cream, and Jelly Bean to Gingerbread? I see other people/developers porting apps from ICS to GB, such as apps like ICS Messaging, ICS Launcher, ICS Task Manager, ICS Camera, ICS Gallery, ICS Clock, ICS Calculator and the list goes on and on. While there are a couple apps that have not been ported, such as the browser, phone/people app, email, and calendar; instead of waiting for others to port them, I would just like to learn how to do it myself. Lets say I have the stock messaging app from Ice Cream, how would I make the app compatible with GB, and make it a non-system app? Besides just changing the Android Manifest to be compatible, because I tried that, and it did not work ( I just got Force Close). Any comments are welcome
Anyone?

AW: [Q] How to Port The ICS/JB Apps to Gingerbread?
I'd love the ics mail and calendar! Why don't you download something ported and compare it to the original?
For example, get a ICS stock calculator and a ICS calculator poet for GB and compare the code.

May be I don't fully understand the question but..
Almost every new android version has new libraries, packages, services.
For example ActionBar was included in api 11, so if app using ActionBar to port it on GB you should use ActionBarSherlock, and so on.
Any news? Would really love that calendar and mail

Lol, I decided on 2.2 (min SDK Version is the lowest android version that needs to be installed on your phone to be able to run an app Example; DashClock requires 4.2+ Android Version, but Nova Launcher needs 4.0+ Android Version)

Oh, I didn't know sdk version was the same as firmware version. I'm running 2.3. Isn't there a way to fake 4.2 to make 4.2 apps installable on previous versions?

I don't think so... I know editing build.prop can make the system think you are running a tablet, so maybe the same with the Android version. But, even if you can do that, the app will probably force close as soon as you open it up because it depends on something that we don't have in our system. Just like some apps require busy box to be installed, some apps will need a certain version of android to work, but that's not always the case.

Since you are on a stock ROM and that too 4.1.2 .. that's why maybe the launcher doesn't work.. but I am glad that the circles work.. for me they are a piece of beauty
I am not a developer.. so i don't know how to fix that.. Sorry :/

Oh man!! I was wishing it would work... too bad.. Looks like we'll have to wait till motorola officially releases 4.3 for the ULTRA
UPDATE: @niksy+ I tried the launcher and widget on Kayant's PA 4.3 and it worked... Maybe you should try again..
I just wanted to say thanks for this launcher+circle widget. I uninstalled the old Razr M's launcher+circle widget in order to use this one, and it runs without any problems in my Nexus with crDroid rom (based on CM10.2).
Only issue (doesn't matter though) is that circle widget is above the Google Search bar.
sry guys just a question. its possible this piece of beauty work in stock 4.3 rom? And if yes can anyone upload it somewhere else beacuse the link in the OP give me error. Ty in advance.

first of all I don't think this will work on 3rd part launchers and the second thing ... you know this zip is CWM Flashable right?
All the files will be installed as system apps and files... If you haven't done this before I recommend you not trying it..

Here what i found, to make PEN.UP app working correctly and signing in or registering, u must have Samsung Account and -maybe- Samsung Market app on ur device which that not included in AOSP roms.
If u have sammy rom (with no bloat) just flash Samsung Market and sign in and u will be fine, for AOSP roms sorry i don't know coz i use sammy rom for 1 year now,
And for market, its not available for a lot of countries now, but it will be available for almost countries in next days / weeks, you can just download apk file from third post and setup it normally.
hope it helpful.
