Hi all,
I've the following problem. I have the tablet (Coby Kyros mid1024) with broken and totally unfunctional touchscreen, so it means that I can do nothing with it. The LCD is working well...
I can't turn on WiFi, Bluetooth, turn on the debug mode...rooting...anything.
I've spent all the day by looking for the touchscreen replacement but with no luck But,
what I need by now - Is there any possibility (boot it from the SD card or something like that) to go over the lock/unlock screen and to get remote control of the tablet by the PC (through mini USB, for example)?
My aim is to turn off the lock screen after rebooting and to get the possibility to control the tablet by mouse over bluetooth or USB. But for this I need to turn off the lock screen first and to setup the bluetooth or USB...I thing...
Thank you for any help...

I recently bought Isun 407 3G tablet ( MTK 8377) and connected to my TV using HDMI cable.
When connecting, The Screen automatically turns OFF. I need the screen to stay ON.
Turning off the screen while playing videos is alright. but I need to do google search while connected.
The tablet runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean).
On searching there are ways to turn off the screen but i need the inverse.
Pls help.
Update: I tried service to call screen wake up when the HDMI cable is connected.
HDMI connection is received properly in broadcast receiver where as the display is not turned on.
I've recent purchased the AVIN AVENT 2 with 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and just wanted to know if anyone has been able to root the device? I'm not sure if it's just my system but it appears to be as buggy as hell, constantly flickering screen especially when my phone is connected via bluetooth but also when I turn the bluetooth off my phone and disable the wifi on the Avin the screen still flickers with the internet usb dongle. When the screen starts flickering you literally have to wait for it to stop before you can use any function on the device. The supplier suggested returning the item back to China under the warranty but having to pay to send it back sucks somewhat so I'm holding out for an alternative solution or a fix. He mentioned that my 2.4GHz Wireless Backup / Reverse Camera Video Transmitter which is connected to the devise could be what's causing the flickering and suggest I disconnect this to see, I haven't had time as yet so maybe one the weekend.
If anyone knows if this device can be rooted so I can tweak some settings to that would be great:good:
Is this possible?
The screen and digitizer are both gone. I'm able to successfully get to the homescreen via HDMI/MHL but from there I'm stuck since I can't open anything.
Please help!
No way to connect.
I got a s3 with a broken screen completely shattered, no light, no touch response etc. but the sounds and notification lights work, i can connect with usb as a media device i can access internal sd...
my question is is there any way i can mirror the screen to my computer via usb without doing anything on the phone because as i said the screen completely gone, maybe with adb or something?? i'm interested in how i can control the phone through the pc, like how asus pc link does it, if anyone can give me any pointers on further reading it would be much appreciated... i don't even know if samsung has such a function..
also i would like it if whenever i connect the usb the phone screen would pop up on the pc, are there any tools that do this?
ps: i heard about hdmi adapter but it doesnt let you control or click on the screen right?
Hello everyone
So last week the kids shattered my screen. Part of it still worked right after but now i got no display at all. I connected to an external display via a docking station and a simple usb-c to HDMI adapter. I get the screen to come up but its simply a gray screen with a lock on it and the time. Does anyone know how to get to the unlock screen so i can try and pull all my data off the tablet
If it's the data you want, why don't you connect it with usb in a pc. It will see it (probably if you had connect it at past. Otherwise it may need to preen in screen to give access, which you probably can't do..), as a hard disk and copy whatever can be copied.
If you can install a usb mouse when you connect it with a hdmi you could press the screen with the mouse also..
