How to pair a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse device without a functioning touchscreen - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is this possible?
The screen and digitizer are both gone. I'm able to successfully get to the homescreen via HDMI/MHL but from there I'm stuck since I can't open anything.
Please help!

No way to connect.

[Q] Can't unpair Bluetooth device... ideas?

Hey Everyone.
I was trying to pair a BT mouse (MS BT Notebook Mouse 5000) to the prime this morning to see if I could get it to work. In short, the pairing process hung after I entered the code. Now, I can't successfully unpair the mouse to try again. I click the device, click unpair, and nothing happens. I've tried it with the mouse on and off, having restarted BT on the prime, and having completely rebooted the prime.
Suggestions? Or am I stuck with a broken pair setup until I root and re-rom this thing?
Thanks in advance!!
update...
After about an hour or so, the BT info for the mouse disappeared. I was able to go ahead and add the mouse, so that's all well and good. However, I still have to wait a very long while to get a device to unpair. Does this happen to any other prime or ICS users?

[Q] Control from PC

Hi all,
I've the following problem. I have the tablet (Coby Kyros mid1024) with broken and totally unfunctional touchscreen, so it means that I can do nothing with it. The LCD is working well...
I can't turn on WiFi, Bluetooth, turn on the debug mode...rooting...anything.
I've spent all the day by looking for the touchscreen replacement but with no luck But,
what I need by now - Is there any possibility (boot it from the SD card or something like that) to go over the lock/unlock screen and to get remote control of the tablet by the PC (through mini USB, for example)?
My aim is to turn off the lock screen after rebooting and to get the possibility to control the tablet by mouse over bluetooth or USB. But for this I need to turn off the lock screen first and to setup the bluetooth or USB...I thing...
Thank you for any help...

bluetooth

Hi I am new to these forums. I have a amicroe force tablet running jellybean 2.2. My tablet does not have bluetooth, I want to buy a USB dongle for Bluetooth but I don't have the Bluetooth setting screen so even if the dongle works I don't have a way to search and pair devices. Is there a way I can just download the android on my phone add the code required to add the Bluetooth settings screen then flash it back onto tablet. So everything works properly.
Thanks let me know if you need more info. Sorry if I got some of the "lingo" wrong.

Android Touch Mode digitizer

Hello all,
I recently bought an Android tv box and I want to put it in my car. I bought also a 7" digitiser and a "digitizer to usb interface from Adafruit named ar1100" that help me to connect via USB the digitiser and the Tv box.
My problem is that I have set up the interface and when I connect to my tv box using USB, it works as a touchpad , not like a touchscreen. This means that I see a cursor and I need to move that cursor like the touchpad from the laptop.. I want to activate the function where the digitiser works as it is designed.
I have read on some forums that is a "Touch mode" function that can be activated but from what I understand, it is made by developers which insert some lines in the source code...
Do you please have any suggestion for me in order to find a solution? Or an .apk that can solve this?
Thank you very much! :crying:
Did you ever resolve this? I've connected my Ar1100 to three Android devices and have exactly the same problem.

Access tablet after screen has shattered

Hello everyone
So last week the kids shattered my screen. Part of it still worked right after but now i got no display at all. I connected to an external display via a docking station and a simple usb-c to HDMI adapter. I get the screen to come up but its simply a gray screen with a lock on it and the time. Does anyone know how to get to the unlock screen so i can try and pull all my data off the tablet
If it's the data you want, why don't you connect it with usb in a pc. It will see it (probably if you had connect it at past. Otherwise it may need to preen in screen to give access, which you probably can't do..), as a hard disk and copy whatever can be copied.
If you can install a usb mouse when you connect it with a hdmi you could press the screen with the mouse also..
