We will have to wait.. shouldn't be much longer.. May 23rd is the rumored release date.. and if that's not true the N7105 version is set to be released this month and I am almost certain that it will be able to be ported
So patience my friends

So I was just looking in your N3BULA thread and saw someone mention 4.4.2... Is N3BULA now updated to a TW 4.4.2 ROM or is it still 4.3?

We won't be getting 4.4. Period. It's a year old phone with a LOCKED bootloader, why would they give us 4.4? They want us to upgrade. They aren't here to serve us, we're here to serve them. Now, while it would be nice, there's Nexus devices for it.
Sorry to burst your bubble :/

Yeah, exactly. CyanogenMod may be the only way SOME users experience 4.4. These companies sure have us right where they want us.

Galaxy S2 is SS flagship phone so it get 4.4. But L9 is mid-range phone, if it get 4.4 we all get big surprise by LG.

I think we have a chance at getting an update. Maybe not 4.4, but so far LG has kept this phone on par with their flagship, the original optimus G. The optimus G is rumored to be getting kitkat, we might get it too.

Where did you read about S2 and Android 4.4? Anyway, 4.4 will not be something revolutionary.

Google claims that 4.4 will work on devices with 512mb ram and will be optimized to work on low/mid range phones,so i dont see why we couldnt get 4.4....It depends on LG.
When i said that before 1-2 months,everybody write,are u have some sources...just google..
Sent from my LG-P760 using xda premium
One of sources
Read part Android 4.4 features..
As you can see they will use linux kernel 3.8 which dont use much ram and handles task better
Release date 14 or 31.October...

4.4 ROM?

Anyone know when we'll see the first stock Google ROM for our Verizon s4? Or any developers out there working on one? Want one bad!

(Patience is key) I think some developers are working on it now, but it is a challenge to port a new version of stock android on to the jfltevzw because the device is different than your average nexus device. Then you also have to take in the fact that devs are working on other projects on the moment and wish not to abandoned them.
Thank you for the post. And I do understand that. Very anxious!

nordic release has dutch locale in the initial setup to choose from, used it on my device as well for a short while.
i would advise to install lion rom if you haven't installed the 4.3 nordic official rom yet, its based on the nordic release but without the knox crap, and believe me, you don't want knox bootloader
But technically with the app "language enabler" from the playstore you can make any tw rom dutch, all languages are normally packed into the rom, however depending on what region the rom is originally meant for, only a few languages are enabled to choose from by default.

Touchwiz KitKat for i605?

I did a search but could only find the ROM that I'm on which is Gummys 4.4 but what I'm looking for is a Touchwiz 4.4 for my i605? Any suggestions? Thanks

AFAIK there is no tw ROM for the note 2. Maybe once the note 3 gets it someone can port it over.

I believe they will be releasing that in approximately 3 months(anywhere between april and may) but more or less it will be leaked way before then
4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz?
I have been reading about 4.4 KatKat roms being released for the i9001 that now have touchwiz. I'm curious if anyone has come across any for our i605's yet? If so, I think many of us would be really interested!
Thanks!

Verizon 4.4.2 Update Possibly May 2nd

Android Geek just posted today about a leaked memo they received from one of their readers. The leak shows the update rolling out May 2nd. *Fingers Crossed*
Here's the article: http://www.android.gs/android-4-4-2-kitkat-update-to-roll-out-soon-for-verizon-samsung-galaxy-s4/
Do you not want to install the 4.4.2 we already have? It works great!
