HI,
I am unable to open the service menu in Xperia X10 after updating custom ROM. Prior updating to custom ROM, I was able to open the service menu.
I tried with MENU - BACK - BACK - MENU - BACK - MENU - MENU - BACK.
I have also Tried replacing MENU with HOME button, but it didn't work either.
Does anybody face the same problem ? Whats the fix for this.. please let me know guys. I am unable to use 3G in phone due to this. I have to go inside the service menu and change the settings..

1.6 = MENU - BACK - BACK - MENU - BACK - MENU - MENU - BACK
2.1 = HOME - BACK - BACK - HOME - BACK - HOME - HOME - BACK
Pressing any button to get the lock screen to light up doesn't count-- the sequence starts from a LIT Lock Screen
But, what are you trying to fix, there's nothing inside the Service Menu that can be updated save for the ear piece/speaker/microphone settings and purging the GPS location tables. There's no 3G settings to change.
3G is based on the APN configuration. MENU/Settings/Wireless&networks/Mobile networks/ and the Access Point Names combined with the Network Mode which can switch off 3G. Here's links with many APN settings from many carriers.

Can anybody confirm if the apk is the same between v1.6, v2.1 & v2.3.
I have tried the *# combination from the service menu from v2.1 but I cannot get the menu to work. I get a FC.

go up a couple of posts. It's not the number, it's pressing the phone's physical buttons in a pattern.

I've found out the problem. Its that I'm using Wolfbreaks latest rom which is ultra fast and stable but he just PM'd me to let me know that he deleted the service menu apk from his rom to make it lighter. This is why the physical button presses or *# combination will not work. There is a stand alone service menu apk which is about 14.4Mb I found on XDA but its incompatible with the rom.
Wolf said the service menu file he deleted (which he hasn't got anymore) is about 1 Mb.
Can anyone send me a copy of there service menu apk (should be around 1Mb) then I can install it to my root system / app folder, go to xRecovery and fix permissions then it should all work.

I've been fidgeting with this for ages after getting my phone unlocked (and getting myself ripped off) by O2. the 727823 combo stooped working but adding the 4 worked. Thanks.
Really?

It worked for me. I attached the file so you can download it. i got it from that link btw.
I sold my phone a few months ago and deleted most of the files I had, but as I remember u need to to put some files in system/etc/permissions/
com.sonyericsson.android.bootinfoif.xml
com.sonyericsson.android.cdfinfoaccessorif.xml
com.sonyericsson.android.qcsemcserviceif.xml
com.sonyericsson.android.semcrilextension.xml
qcrilhook.xml
In system/framework/ put
semc_bootinfoif.jar
semc_cdfinfoaccessorif.jar
qcsemcserviceif.jar
semcrilextension.jar
qcrilhook.jar
And u need to install ServiceMenu.apk in system/app/
Cheers!

I accidently ticked the box do not show this message when I have the choice to choose if I wanted this menu or not each time I click on settings.

Hi,
I'm modifying a CM ROM (I'm not ready yet to create my own ROM) and I would like to add accessibility to it.
I added TalkBack to the ROM, but I would like to have this service enabled when you start your phone after flashing the ROM (not in the settings).
I supose that somewhere must be a flag indicating if TalkBack service is enabled or not, because when i start the phone after enabling it in settings menu, it's already enabled.
Would it be posible to modify this flag in the ROM to enable TalkBack by default, but making posible to disable it in settings menu when it be necesary?
Thanks in advance
I can add it using quickpanel manager app, but after reboot it reverts back. I need a way to permanently add it, if possible ?

I need a password for mine.
*#77467# got me into this menu
Did u got this open on oreo?
It has only rcs switch inside the ims setting not mmtel switch right?
Yes on on oreo! It's got all kinds of switches.
In shortcut master had to find dialer codes and enter them manually.
Lte settings
So in the nougat rom with shortcut master we get such options in the ims setting..
So i am confused if it will work if i update to oreo else i wont be getting volte here if it does not allow me to on it.
Def looks totally different. Is it the same dialer code? On my Tmobile v4 bootloader in the us I do have volte.
In the Lte profile settings you can toggle all the different settings and save them.
Nope its not from the dialer code.. it's from shortcut master menu ims setting open option.. thst is why i am bit worried to update my note..
