I need a password for mine.
*#77467# got me into this menu
Did u got this open on oreo?
It has only rcs switch inside the ims setting not mmtel switch right?
Yes on on oreo! It's got all kinds of switches.
In shortcut master had to find dialer codes and enter them manually.
Lte settings
So in the nougat rom with shortcut master we get such options in the ims setting..
So i am confused if it will work if i update to oreo else i wont be getting volte here if it does not allow me to on it.
Def looks totally different. Is it the same dialer code? On my Tmobile v4 bootloader in the us I do have volte.
In the Lte profile settings you can toggle all the different settings and save them.
Nope its not from the dialer code.. it's from shortcut master menu ims setting open option.. thst is why i am bit worried to update my note..

Ive been working on a MOD SecSettings.apk for Sprint Samsung S5 where I got Download Booster working and then was able to get the Settings to show the option for immediate access to use as well. In doing this for some reason, it lost the System Update option to go in and select PRL/Profile updates. I'm able to MOD back in the options anywhere into the settings but clicking on those options has no click effect. How do I go about adding back in the action effect for these two options through apk? Need location of where to add and preferably the command line needed such as "<action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />".
Hi, so before I go out and purchase a new SIM I was hoping someone could help me. Originally I was trying to alter the MMS port set in my APN because MMS was failing over wifi due to running Adblock. In doing so I somehow managed to erase my Internet APN. I believe it was just set to vzwinternet.
So on my lg g3 I unfortunately have no way to add an APN, it works fine for wifi and calls still but I have no cellular internet at the moment. The only option when going to APN settings is Reset to Defaults, which does nothing as it just shows "No APNs". The mobile networks option is actually greyed out under Settings->Wireless & Networks->More... but I'm able to get to APN Settings still by using an app.
Possible solutions I've thought of, does anyone knows if these are possible?
A) Is there any way to edit my build.prop to allow me to add an APN such as "ril.sales_code=LOL & ro.csc.sales_code=LOL" (I've tried this it doesn't work).
B) Is it possible to re-add it by replacing apns-conf.xml in /system/etc/ ? If that is possible could someone post theirs so I can replace it?
C) Are there any root apps to allow me to add an APN? (from my research there aren't any since android 4.0)
Or am I just going to have to go out and get a new SIM? I've already master reset hoping it was software related and that hasn't helped.
EDIT: Nevermind guys fixed it by doing a reflash back to factory with lg flashtool. Nothing to see here *whistles*
Hi Jab
I met the same issue.
Could you please tell me how to reflash back to factory?
Thank you
You need to root it, and use shortcut master to open APN setting, same case with my US Cellular G3

So I installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 Android 5.1.1 to my Sony Xperia Z2, and after installation my phone wont connect to mobile network. Wifi works, and phonecalls work. There is exclamation mark in the signal icon, and when i connect to wifi it disappears. I didnt find any mistakes in APN. Could it be wrong baseband? Or what could it be?
Maybe internet settings are missing ? go to settings>more> internet settings> download settings for Internet and MMS. (I had the same problem but it is working fine now)

Check APN settings under the Wireless & Networking menu. You’ll find that no APN has been set. You’ll need to choose the one for your mobile operator or worse – manually enter the APN settings. After setting the APN you could need to restart your phone

I have dont that, and No help.. Could it be the baseband version problem? Im trying to install stock rom, test it if it then would work..
Call *#*#4636#*#* to enter phone settings or use this app and select Additional Info
Select Phone information
Set prefered network type to CDMA auto (PRL) and wait until your phone connects to 3G
Change prefered network to LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL) maybe this works? If not I am sorry

The exclamatory means that there is no internet access. Ask your service provider for manual internet settings.

Now i have stock rom ranking, and after i installed the internet settings from mobile network settings, mobile data started running. In cyanogenmod i didnt have that option in settings so I think thats why mobile data didnt work on cyanogenmod.. How can i get cyanogenmod mobiledata working, without the option to install network settings?

I tried the same but still the same result so I have given up on going back to CM and stick to stock.
Try factory resetting the phone
Sent from my SM-T231
Who knows how to edit operator settings modems (system/etc/customization/modem/amss_fsg_***.mbn)?
This is necessary in order to change the configuration settings IMS for the operator.
i lost my voice codecs when i tried this... im going to try again later though, once i get a recovery working again
Has anyone gotten this to work on the S9+ yet? I don't plan on activating mine until it is, and was hoping the same thing that worked on S8's would on this model as well.
Ive tried the S 7 Edge mod Here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-s7-edge/how-to/hotspot-bypass-nougat-ok-t3563446)
but it makes the "you havent subscribed to hotspot" message come up (have to factory reset to get it back)
Sucks because it didnt even count data toward it. I think it has to do with OREO and wording changes in the CSC.
You keep looking and I will keep trying and hopefully we will get this going

Hotspot working
I was able to get mine to work. I used shortcut master lite, and searched for ltefunctionality. Went to let apn, and was able to change both settings to dun.
Shortcut master lite is working again

This is what worked for me. My Shortcut Master Lite program had the APN greyed out. I followed these instructions to a T!
This..............
1) Dialer App, ##3282# (DATA)
2) Edit
3) Sprint MSL for mine is 000000
4) APN Settings
5a) "APN" and "APN protocol" should be editable. Make a minor change, save your APN.
5b) Then change them back, save the APN again. Do this for each APN you want full access to.
6) Open the Shortcut Master Lite and open LTEFunctionalityTest
7) Open LTE APN Setting
8) If it's greyed out, close everything and then restart from #6.
9) Edit APN Type, add ",dun" to the end.
10) After you finish editing, save, and you should be good to go.

I followed your steps, verified ",dun" saved even after a reboot, but when I try to enable hotspot, it says I havent subscribed.
Did you do it on all the apns?

just factory reset if you wrote to the global settings with ADB from the old MOD. the language is different in the build prop.
the ONLY way to get the build prop back is a factory reset. we are working on a new ADB method now!
