What does this mean - HTC One Max

Why does my kernel say this? Was it rooted at some point and then unrooted?

the first name before the @ in the case "root" is just the username of the build machine HTC used. So it does not mean it was once rooted.

Ok, thanks, I just don't think I've ever looked at these before I rooted my devices and was kind of taken back by it.

What is there to elaborate on? There is at the very least 5 or 6 kernels for this device either here or in the international forum

Now see that is what I was trying to get out of someone... I wasn't sure what other forums that I could look in. I have not performed the super cid and didn't know if I could go outside the at&t threads to find another one.

You don't need to change the cid for anything except flashing ruu's or firmwares

Hello,
That is for the developers edition. You either are using a developers edition on T-Mobile's network or you changed your T-Mobile version to a developers edition at some point.

I haven't done anything I only flashed a 4.3 stock firm
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
So if I go back to stock and check for the update and if it's not there who do I get to yell at? I'm 100% sure T-Mobile has not pushed 4.4

Hello,
No need to upload it as it can be downloaded right from HTC. Again this is for the developers edition HTC One.

If you are on stock ruu then it shouldn't let you install the developer's edition. Something is glitching but better a glitch than you install a version that isn't for your stock version. It could give you more problems than its worth. If your stock, wait for end of Jan, that's all there is to it.

I am not familiar with RUU. If I install this on a stock rom on HTC One. What would be the end result?

Stock vs Custom Rom Data Speeds

Just curious if anyone else suffers with horrible data speeds when using custom roms.

7? Thats my 3G speed, sometimes get to 10mbps. Are you sure it is not your service provider issue? I never had problem with data or wifi.
Sent from my HTC One max using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
This is old one. As I remember, the tests were performed at lower signal.
Sent from my HTC One max using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I have Verizon.
I think the Data speed is more related to ratio.
Does anyone test the data speed with different fareware/ratio?
