Stock vs Custom Rom Data Speeds - HTC One Max

Just curious if anyone else suffers with horrible data speeds when using custom roms.

Thats weird. Im on ViperMax intl for 4 months already, all going pretty good though. 3g,4g lte both working great @ capable delivery speed. Currently, handle by FlyKernel. Previously, use Lunar, but both work

Sent from my HTC6600LVW using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

7? Thats my 3G speed, sometimes get to 10mbps. Are you sure it is not your service provider issue? I never had problem with data or wifi.
Sent from my HTC One max using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

This is old one. As I remember, the tests were performed at lower signal.
Sent from my HTC One max using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I have Verizon.

I think the Data speed is more related to ratio.
Does anyone test the data speed with different fareware/ratio?

4g issues on MDK?

Anyone having 4g issues on MDK build? Running CleanROM if I recall right. I'm talking like 2 bars max everywhere I go and I live in a really strong 4g area.
Would the ME7 radios solve this or should I replace it?
Phone also gets warm after a minutes of use.

That's a speedtest. Not a benchmark. Benchmarks are taken with Quadrant and Antutu.

My LG G2 vs the Xperia Z1.. Z1 is sloooooooooooooooow
I've never bothered much with benchmarks before, but I've also never had a phone that was this powerful so I gave it a go last night.
I'll play along, except I use 3D Mark.
Waiting for proof that my buddies 5S did over 19k.
Dang how did you crack 17?

Said I was 14 in the top 20? That just don't sound right, does it? Figured there would be hundreds of devices ahead

I ran with the performance governor, I also changed the scheduler and tweaked that. Don't know how much credit goes to each.
Oh okay I ran with performance but didn't mess with the scheduler so maybe it did help

Why do we need so many "Benchmarks" threads? There's one already http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2442467 Will we make a hundred more maybe?

If you don't mind me asking, does the Sprint Note 3 have a regular prl, allowong it to at least use cdma on 800 Mhz, as opposed to the 2000 prl on the Note 2?
i get better 4g coverage with sprint (3g) prl than Verizon (3g) cooperate prl

Yes, the Note 3 comes with a normal prl (550XX) with 800mhz 1x. And it works nicely as well.
We need to bug mrgreg the roam control guy to get it working for this phone. Everybody send messages to him please. I have already.

I wrote an app that will help you change your PRL, it's much quicker than typing out what you need to type out in the guide that was linked to. Let me know how it works in the app thread, not here

Can't connect to any multiplayer

Ok so I'm running the latest beanstalk build and I've tried with a few roms, but i would like to play a few games on my phone which have multi player feature but it won't let me connect through carrier network only wifi works, games such as Modern combat 4 and blitz brigade, works fine on other phones through carrier network but only works on wifi on my phone, it just tells me No Internet connection but I'm clearly connected to LTE network, there is one exception and that is the new Madden 25 that works off my carrier connection......

Nope.
It's a different device. Maybe it has to do with SVDO being available on Jewel, I don't know. Looks like you're just going to have to accept it or get a different device.

What does this mean

Why does my kernel say this? Was it rooted at some point and then unrooted?

the first name before the @ in the case "root" is just the username of the build machine HTC used. So it does not mean it was once rooted.
Ok, thanks, I just don't think I've ever looked at these before I rooted my devices and was kind of taken back by it.
